[ Setting is at night, 8:00 in the middle of the rainforest. ]
Helios shivered, another blast of chilly night wind stung his skin, even through his thick, red fur. The fire palui shivered, feeling the flickering flames on the tips of his ears cool down, dying slowly. ANd suddenly, it was still again.
Helios sat down, his poor eyesight not alowing him to be able to see much, other than the bright, twinkling stars up above, and still, that wasn't much of a light source. He wandered aimlessly throught the woods, until finally, he found himself lost.

Naito walked slowly during the rather chilly night. The freezing wind blowing against her fur made her cold. She didn't like this at all, usually the nights here are calm and peaceful. This cold wind was terrible and needed to find a place to stay for the night. She looked up for a bit and sighed. She wasn't lost or anything.. She just.. Was confused maybe..
Alone, she sat in the middle of the rainforest and looked around her. Nothing but the earth around her, a few trees, many bushes.. She needs fire.. Now that she things about it. Fire means lots of warmth.. Which is what she need right now. A small sneeze came from herself and lay next to a tree, if she doesn't find warmth soon she might just die in the cold.

Helios pranced around in a circle, trying to think of something to do while keeping warm.
"What to do what to do what to do..." Nothing came to him. Helios was about ready to give up and leaned against a tree. The red furball looked up at the night sky, barely noticing how nice everything looked at night... Helios sighed, his ears flattened back in defeat.... Still, he could nearly imagine the warm feeling of fire, and could practically see the comforting light that came with it. Wait... Was that.... Soot?
"AAAAAAH! AAAAHHHHH! AHHHH! AHHHH!" Helios's clamorous screaming was loud enough to cover up the noise of fire crackling, as the giant tree that he had once been leaning on went up in flames. "OOOOOOH MYYYY PUFFCAKES!" He screamed in disbelief as he backed up slowly. His small backwards steps soon lead to running, as he faced the other direction in search of water, to put the fire out.
Helios still felt kind of proud. YOu KNOW you're cool when you can start the beginning of a forest fire with your ears.

After hearing a horrible scream, the small earth palui opened her eyes. What was that smell?
She looked behind her, seeing a tree lite up like the night sky above. Wait.. A tree? She stood up and looked at it and jumped around. She never seen a tree on fire before but who would do such? She ran to the tree and tried to cover it with dirt, before she knew it, she was in a rather deep hole from the dirt that she used around her. Climbing from hole, the trees fire began to stop and she finally calm down.
However, now its time to find the jerk that lit up the tree.. For all this palui knew he could have killed someone! She was glad she didn't even pick that tree. She looked from behind the tree, seeing a redish fire palui behind the tree and bushes. She kept her distances and just stared at the palui. But he doesn't seem like that type to kill anyone, or try to cause any trouble.

Helios noticed the fire go out, and sighed deeply in relief. Eager to find out how the fire went out, Helios darted back where he had came from.
What was it? This particular palui had a dark, midnight colored pelt, decorated with gold and silver stars. The red furball ducked down, staring at her gold and silver leaves, and the way they shined, like her eyes. Helios blinked, suddenly self conscience about his own multicolored eyes. If anything, he could say that that was the most interesting and beatiful palui he had ever seen, but he was much to scared of her to say that.
Instead, he perked up suddenly, and got a running start. Helios ran up, and immediately tried to tackle the poor thing.

Of course Naito's natural wild instincts came up, she dodge the tackle and swiped at the male, pending him down with a cold growl, her eyes glowing with anger.
"What do you think you're doing?" She said coldly.
She wasn't going to let a male take her down like that. She is tougher than to be tackled. Even if it was a joke. She doesn't take things like that lightly. Her claws was sticking into his skin, of course she was in danger, so all she could think of about this male was that he is a killer of palui all around. And she can not stand for palui like him. She might just have to teach him a thing or two.

Woah, fiesty much? Nice... Strong, AND shiny, and the palui had been able to pin him down AND prevent a forest fire. How perfect of a best friend would that be? "Dude, I totalllyyyyyyyyyyy-" Helios's voice trailed off, as his multicolored eyes widened to the size of the moon. It was...A GIRL!? He was pinned down...by a girl? A GIRL?!
Infuriated, Helios smirked, about ready to flip over, and put the position in reverse. He stared hard at the beatiful stranger,and push himself over, pinning her down, and wildly smirking at her like before. "Yea, Hun. Who's your Daddy, NOW? " Helios said, a bit of him from before his volcano accident returning, that mischevious twinkle in his eyes replacing the playful look he usually had.
But only for a moment.
"EWEWEWEW...EW.EW... I TOUCHED IT!" He yelled to himself, backing up slowly. "I'm sooo so sorry, I never meant, I didn't..Uh, I don't...Um...Thanks for putting out my accident." Helios stammered, gesturing towards the burnt tree. "I...I....Bye."
Helios ran off.

Before Naito could beat the hell out of the palui he just, ran off? What kind of guy starts a fire, trying to attack a women, and now trying to.. Lets just say it wouldn't have been pretty. Not only this palui were trying to put danger in the forest, but he was trying to play with her. Which pisses her off. She growled and picked up the dirt that he stepped on. The scent was fresh and her nose could do the rest.
"I'll get him if its the last thing I do.. This forest doesn't need his kind around." She muttered.
As she starts to run after the male, her stomach started to growl. At all times like this? She couldn't stop now, that guy could start up another fire while she is munching on some fish and berries. And she doesn't want to see others getting hurt just because she was only thinking about herself. The dark forest didn't bother her much. But his ears were flames.. So it couldn't be to hard to find him. Her eyes strangely glow in the darkness making it easier for her to do anything at night.

Was she chasing him? Helios of course, had horrible eyesight, but his smell, hearing, and speed was intense... But of course, during moments liek that, where he was so scared he was on the border of peeing, his eyesight was as good as lint is to someone who is about to die.
" Pleeease don't beat the hell out of me..." He whimpered to himself, as his vision blurred. Still, he picked up the pace, trying to run as fast as a large, fire palui was able to. Helios tried to go so fast that his lungs burned, and then...
Swwft! The red furball ducked behind a tree, and curled up. "Please don't find me..."

To her, he was going in slow motion in her eyes, really slow. She dashed to where he was hiding and thought for a moment. She could either kill him and be proud of what she done or just spear his life, hoping that she doesn't do it again. However she was hungry, and could have stopped by a nearby stream to grab a small fish, but no, this palui just had to run for it like a scary cat.
She peeked behind the tree and sighed. He wasn't a good hider at all. She could get this over with sooner than she thought. Grabbing one of his legs and dragging him off into the bushes would be a good idea.. So nobody know that she was beating him up. Or just claw one of his eyes out and walk away so she can finally eat. All plans sounds fairly good to her. But she had another idea, she climbed up another tree quietly, jumping to the tree where he was 'hiding'
Right under him, she could pounce on his head. Most likely knocking him out for a couple of minutes and then beat him up after she is finished eating. Jumping out the tree quietly she landed over top of the male and growled, swiping him across his head to make sure that his knocked out.

Overboard.
Helios could feel his body flood with adrenaline and fear, not expecting her to leap from a tree, which would've been a good assumption, especially with an Earth Palui. Helios jumped nearly a foot into the air, his heart rate going higher and higher per second, while he looked blankly forward, screeching loudly again and again.
Panic attack.
Sensitivity to those kind of things came to him in genetics, of course, so he really couldn't help it. Helios kept staring straight ahead, hyperventilating. Mental and perceptional panic attack, or as some could call it, going slightly insane. No need to beat himup, bite him, or knock him out. He was already pretty freaked out anyways. "I'M SORRY. I'M SORRY. I'M SORRY. I'M SORRY. What? Where. I'M GONNA DIEEEE!"
And then he fainted.

Naito shook her head lightly and drug him off. It was time to get something to eat finally. Hearing a waterfall nearby, she ran quickly, the heavy palui on her back. There is usually many fish around a waterfall she maybe she is lucky today.
Shaking off the knocked out palui she him rather close to the water. Water plus a fire palui equals trouble. Then he would not to mess with her again. Her paw was stuck under the water looking around for any fish. Many on the other side. Instead of walking, she jumped into the waterfall and grabbed about a hand full of small fishes. Throwing them on land she looked at them all. She even grabbed two rather large fish.
Looking ahead of her to see if he was awake yet, she laid a fish on his belly, maybe if he smelt food, he could wake up and fall in the water as planned. Of course she would be on the other side of the waterfall to laugh at him, he couldn't know that it was her. The again, she's the only one around here.

Helios's nose twitched at the smell of freshly caught fish.... Mmmnmm.. His multicolored eyes fluttered open, and his ears twitched at the osund of rushing water. Fish, water? Helios opened his eyes, and saw a small fish flopping around on his belly. " What happe- AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!" Helios said, splashing into the water.
The red palui kicked furiously to stay above the surface before gasping for air. He kept his ears erect, making sure his flames didn't go out. Ironically, Helios could swim, he just couldn't let his ears get wet. He grabbed onto a rock that stuck just up above the water, and he clenched it tightly.
He attepted to swim back to shore, the entire time making sure his ears were above the water... After somehow managing to climb onto the opposite side of the water, he flopped onto land, shivering and cold. "Where, am..."
That girl... Helios smiled lovingly at Naito. "Hi cutie, you okay? I hope you aren't hurt from all those attempts on MURDER..." Helios cooed, although his anger showed slightly through his voice. "Please, grace me with your presence. Do come HERE, m'love. It's all about forgiving and forgeting..." Helios muttered, tired and cold from the water. Helios stepped closer and closer.
"I've got a surprise for you, let's be friends until the very end."

Naito screamed as she rammed into him, pushing him back until the water. What was he? A perverted freak that likes to mess with younger palui? Whatever he is, he should be done now. After kicking him into water, his. She didn't go to close to the edge but close enough to see where the male was. Hoping that the perverted slob would just stay under the water until she leaves.
"What a disgusting palui.." She said softly.
Walking back to her rock. It was covered with different fishes, the sun was hitting it, so the fish cooked while she was beating up the male. The smell of the fish was good. Taking one from the rock she ate it slowly and humming. Now she doesn't have to worry about anyone else but herself.. She might just stay here for a while.

Annoying. Thing. What WAS it anyways? Helios stayed in the water, knowing that he had one hour to ruin Naito's life before he would get horrifically sick. He had originally planned to set her tail on fire, but now that his ears were wet...he only had an hour. How much damage could a fluffy animal do in an hour. Helios kepty just floating in the water, face submerged in the river.
Wait.. His ears...
Heliso gapsed, still udnerwater, and choked on the liquid. Still coughing her scramble out of the river, eyes bulging. "AHHH!" He screeched, running as far away as possible. ". . .AAAAHHH! My ears, my beautiful ears! WHERE ARE MY FLAMES! GOOD CHEESECAKES WHAT IS GOING ON!" Hyperventilation. Helios literally ran over Naito, leaped into the air, and came down rolling.
He glared at Naito. "I'm going to EAT. YOU." HE growled, before pouncing on her, and biting her foot. "EVIL EVIL EVIL EVIL EVIL! WHat do you HAVE against me anyways?
