A'right.
So if you spend most of your time on Gaia the same way I do (i.e. floating around the GCD) (Or Community Projects, because it got moved) you've probably seen [this] thread.
It's basically the UN... for Gaia.
And it sounds cool.
Uh...
ANYWAY!
I know that the GiB doesn't, as a rule, get into user politics, but I think that this would be something good for us to be a part of.
So what do you say?

Umm...well...the thing is, I think they actually came around to us once, asking if TIM woul be interested...And we sorta stuck to our policy back then...Now, maybe I'm wrong, and am thinking of something else entirely, but....I don't really think much has changed in Gaia for their to really be a need to be involved in this group as an agent from the GiB. However, on a simply personal/gaian level, it's a fine idea...So, while It's a fine thing to become involved with as say "Joe Smith-regular gaian", it still doesnt seem to be quite right for "Joe Smith-Member of GiB". DOes that make sense?

though it may be aginst policy I think having an few agents in there as over seers would be a tactful move on our part

I agree, this is a major thing, where (if it takes off) we could learn alot. We just need a couple of lurkers to wait and watch the G.U.N.

No. We are here to keep peace with ourselfs (gaians) and with extraterrestrials and other creatures. Security is something that i think we should not do. Now having some politcal leaders to keep up with the other groups would be a good idea. We are more of an independent group but a few selected to be placed in there is the best option.
