After what happened with Bella I really felt like the book was turning into a fanfiction making me think it was turning into a epic fail neutral .I was so happy that Book 2 was in Jacob's POV.I don't think I would have been able to deal reading it through Bella's gonk .I also believe Stephenie Meyer is breaking her own rule about vampires :/. Your thoughts?

I think that SMeyer has forgotten what logic is. :/ I'm not happy with the book. Bella was an epic fail in the book.
Um, the rest is in white, just in case for other people.
WHY DID JACOB IMPRINT ON BELLA'S SPAWN!? That was the worst part ever. I loved, loved, loved Jacob's POV up until that point. And then later in the book where an epic battle could have taken place, but didn't? So much potential for some excitement, but nooooo. SMeyer has to have little violence and instead uses all of her writing ability to make Bella this Mary Sue in Breaking Dawn. Dammit, Bella, just shut up about how perfect and beautiful you are now. ::gags::
Gosh, I hate being so careful with spoilers. Dx

CRINGED. I was happy that Jacob imprinted, but furious that it was on Bella's kid! WTF? It's like SMeyer didn't want to create a whole other character, so she just picked at random. It kinda pissed me off.

For me the worst part of Jacob imprinting was not only that it was Bella's spawn, but her spawn was even more of a Mary Sue then her! gonk She matures quickly and it totally knowledgable of her surroundings and can make perfect sense of everything. Plus, everyone loooooooves Bella's spawn. ::gag::
But at least with BD, SMeyer is just screaming at fans that it's anything goes for fanfiction now.

Er...I don't know what to think about it. I think that with all the crap that went on, it should've been two books. I think it moved to quickly in some parts, and totally dragged in others.
I guess I liked it, I mean, probably loved it.
I just have to get over the shock. Find me in a couple of days and I'll have a real opinion. It was just, so damn...weird.
Although, I think I would be totally sure I loved if Bella didn't name her baby goddamn Renesmee Carlie Cullen. WTF kind of name is that? I think she should of named her Elizabeth, after Edward's mom...or something. Just not that.

It's a very adult novel, more mature than the other ones.
The series goes in stages and this stage is when Bells finally grows up. It really can't be helped that younger readers don't enjoy it.
I knew from the beginning that this was one that a lot of teenaged readers wouldn't really like towards the end. My book club and I loved it, and Jake imprinting on Nessie was simply beautiful. It was the perfect way to write it so he could have a part of Bella's heart forever. 3nodding

Me Llamo B; I agree with you completely. I don't get why so many readers are hating Breaking Dawn so fiercely.
I know it was a very...shocking book. Things we all thought couldn't happen happened. Like, Renesmee. Okay. Even I admit the name is weird. lol. I like Carlie though. It sounds more normal than Renesmee. But anyway. Renesmee Carlie Cullen is NOT the worst kid name out there. Tons of fanfictions have done a lot worse with the names. However, I would not have liked it if the baby had been named Elizabeth. >w< No offense to Mrs. Masen, but she's been given the honor of being the baby's namesake wayy too many times in everything I've read. <--highlight.
But, I've never doubted Stephenie's story-writing skill. I believe that her characters truly rule the story. They're too powerful not too.
So, sure, everything was a little cliche'd. It's not worth completely hating the book over. But that's just my opinion.

I just think that teenagers know that happy endings aren't real, and we wanted that for Bella, too because she's never been perfect. When people get older, they want happy endings almost as much as they wanted them when they were younger, so of course "older audiences" like 20+ or TM would like the fact that everything worked out.

Sure, it dealt with mature issues that the other books didn't have to, but it wasn't an adult novel. An adult novel would have adressed the issues more instead of, "Carlisle! I think I'm pregant! I'm keeping it! And that's that." And then Bella rants and has repetitive monologue after monologue about how she loves her baby and Edward. Bella doesn't really develop, other than she wanted to keep the baby and stay with Edward forever. Then when she transforms, she's perfect. No bloodlust, no crazed instincts like the other vampires. Bella hardly developed as a character, so she doesn't really grow at all and is way too perfect.
I also didn't like the logic of Jacob imprinting on Bella's spawn. I mean, at least have her child have her own personality at the very least! Instead of making her some Bella knock off. :/

Oh god I was so pissed about the miracle vampire baby thing... like there were so many ways to end the book but it sounded like she spent months rolling in money and then the week before the release date she threw some s**t together... I did laugh like hell when Edward rocked her world and she was all bruised to hell. Also how the ******** do you pronounce Renesmee? Microsoft voice guy says something gay.
