Alrighty, here's the situation.
My father has MS and Diabetes and is a complete quadriplegic. That means he can't move either his arms or legs.
Tonight there was blood in his urine.
I know it is a symptom of diabetes, and if so it will go away on it's own. However it could be a symptom of about a dozen other things, everything from a urinary tract infection to prostate cancer.
This is also the first time it's happened to him, we're all a wee bit freaked out at Chez Neuf.
So at this point, before you, HASHEM and the mass of the internet. I pray for peace and serenity for my household, that it doesn't tear itself apart in worry. And I pray for my Father, that this is just part of his diabetes and not a new illness for him to suffer through.
May the One who blessed our ancestors, Patriarchs Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, Matriarchs, Sarah, Rebecca, Rachel, and Leah bless and heal the one who is ill.

Well things have calmed down a bit... Dad's still going like a race horse, and I'm probably going to be up all night. So I'm gonna settle in with some Rifftrax and MST3K and a pint of Ben and Jerry's and try not to worry.

Do you know his Hebrew name? I'll say Tehillim and a Misheberakh for him next time I can if you do.

I will certainly daven and say tehillim for Schmuel ben Yeheska. Please let him know how many of us are doing so; it may help him feel emotionally better.

Divash I will certainly daven and say tehillim for Schmuel ben Yeheska. Please let him know how many of us are doing so; it may help him feel emotionally better. He's been in surprisingly good spirits over the whole thing. I think through all he's been through, he's learned not to worry about such things, either that or he stopped caring about such things. Anyrate dad didn't want to go to the ER because he hates the ER, so today I brought his urine sample in to the hospital lab. It was more yellow than red this morning, so that's a sign it's settling down, but still I'd like to know if the lab knows what caused it.

To whom it may concern, my dad's condition has cleared up. It was just a diabetic complication and he's back to normal, relatively speaking. He's still crippled and diabetic, but for now the blood is staying inside his body.

I hope your dad feels better.
My dad had triple bypass surgery near the middle of June
And he wasn't over weight didn't smoke
he just had too much salt and fatty foods exclaim
I hope the best for your father!!
