There shouldn't even be a need for a rules post, because if you're a literate, intelligent member of society then by now you'd know the proper procedures and etiquette required in terms of RP and journals.

other body features Einar has many horrendous scars on both of his arms, running only on the undersides and decorating from wrist to elbow. The scars are very deep and old, so some of them are dark in places where they never healed properly. He also has a scar that matches in appearance across his throat, one that is large enough to make any person wonder how he survived such an injury.
It is unknown what injuries are from since Einar lies about almost everything that's happened to him, though there's a clear hint that they are probably from an animal attack that occurred on one of his map making trips out in the wilderness.
personality Somewhat of an enigma, as you can't tell whether or not something he's done is for his sake or the sake of others. He never really gives a straight answer to any questions, but he never outright lies either. He seems to enjoy teasing others but takes offense to getting made fun of, so he has a bit of a hypocrite complex as well.
As it turns out, Einar likes to change his story every time he speaks to someone new, or maybe even to the same person, so no one can really believe him either, even when he tells the actual truth somewhere among his lies. And yes, he does smile when he tells his lies. All the time.
However, he's very bright in certain areas that many people would never think he was able to perform in, and he's utterly reliable when it comes to tasks that most people would flinch away from.
Einar's got a strong stomach to certain situations but is weak against people crying or things that wouldn't normally scare a person, such as ladders (the ladder itself, not going up it).
skills Does lying count as one? If not, then his main skills are cartography and archery. He's also good at finding his way to any location on his first try, and can navigate any area without the use of a compass.
Einar also speaks at least four languages, as he comes from a family of intellectuals. His mother insisted he master Norwegian and Finnish, but he also speaks German and English. He's pretty good on the uptake of body language so he can understand someone's meaning even if he can't understand what they're saying to him, which can come in handy during his travels around the world.
As it turns out his main job in his time was a pilot of a massive zeppelin battle fleet, and as such he is able to fly almost any aircraft if given the time to master the controls.

There isn't much to say about Einar's earlier years; he was raised in a normal 2.5 style family in a some city on the outskirts of some capital. His mother and father, brilliant people who taught at the local school and wrote books for a living, often ignored him to better themselves so he amused his time before his own era of schooling by learning how to lie to others and how to navigate the local wilderness.
By the time he reached schooling age, which his parents decided for him would be four years old, he could already draw maps of the area with crayons on his mother's wall and could tell a lie that would make even the trickiest con man believe him...at first. School years were rather uneventful, he was not really top in his class due to him being really lazy and constantly running away to play in the wood, but he wasn't bottom in his class either due to his parents beating the tar out of him until he did his work. Oh, that and he scored 100% on all his tests thanks to their 'tutoring'.
Einar calmed down a good deal from his wild ways by the time he turned twelve thanks in part to his parents actually noticing his interests and nurturing them to a frutation. His father, when not working or writing, would take him places in their car and leave him to find his way back home, though this wasn't meant as torture but more as a way of helping the youth master his skills. The adventures really did help, as he only had to be found via a search party once and that was after he'd fallen from a cliff and into a small-mouthed cave with no phone reception. Things seems to be going smooth for the boy, until an incident would change his outlook on life - literally.
When Einar was fourteen he was in an accident that left him comatose and nearly in a state close to that of a vegetable. Taken immediately to a hospital where he was falsely pronounced dead by a rather fidgety doctor, Einar was sent into a private room that was set off from the morgue. It was here in this room that humans were being harvested fresh from their death beds for their organs.
Organ transplants were in high demand at the time with no relief in sight, as many people were bound and determined to take their full bodies with them into the afterlife and leave nothing behind. With money to be made from a lucrative business in the black market, many hospitals had staff more than willing to cut up a body and dispose of it without any second guesses. This was fairly easy to do when a victim who was either homeless or unidentified came in, and unfortunately Einar fell into the second category.
Placed in that room and barely alive as it was, the doctors that had declared him dead only minutes before began the preparation to harvest him, starting with the organ that was needed in the freshest state for ice - the eyes. As the blade cut into the tissue of his left eye socket, somehow the pain managed to jar the youth out of his state and fully aware, his pain-filled screams taking up the space where jars of fresh organs had been only days before.
The doctors, playing their roles to a key, quickly told the youth that they had found his left eye to be extremely damaged and it had to be removed right away at the risk of him dying from infection. so quickly, they insisted, that they didn't have the time to put him under or give him pain medicines. They tried to lay on the fact that he'd been in a comatose-like state as further acceptance, and the youth in his blind state of fear, pain, and uncertainty, accepted this.
Until he saw his perfectly healthy eye floating in a jar...
Seven years have passed since the event and Einar doesn't seem phased by it, instead he uses it as a conversation piece to ward off people that really bother him. It almost always works and he finds the people who stay around him after he jabbers on and on to be more worth his time than not.
Still plagued with his interest in cartography that started in his early youth, Einar's biggest wish and dream is to make as many maps of different places as he can before he dies...which is a pretty long ways away considering he's only twenty-one.

The Ranks
New Recruit - All Lotus members begin as new recruits into the league. They do not have a specific job or specialty as of yet. This is the lowest rank. It gives new members a chance to get comfortable at Lotus.
Example mission: aid clean-up and rescue efforts after a natural disaster.
Level One - After passing the aptitude test, you can begin to specialize or just start taking jobs and missions as they come. Some missions, however, can only be completed by members with certain skills.
Example mission:serve as a bodyguard for a high-ranking official.
Level Two - You can now go on higher class missions.
Example mission: investigate and try to debunk a conspiracy that's about to lead to war.
Elite - Being an elite member of Lotus means the ablility to take missions of any class. You are now at the top of Lotus' social heirarchy and can make fun of the poor new recruits without Shee throwing something at you.
Example mission: One of the Superni has been paying suspicious attention to a given area. Figure out what she's doing and, if necessary, stop her.Advancing in Rank
To earn "New Recruit" status:
You don't have to earn this rank.
To earn "Level One" status:
Execute two (2) successful missions ( o / 2 ) or
Complete three (3) missions ( 1 / 3 )
Pass Wraith's aptitude test
To earn "Level Two" status:
Execute four (4) successful missions or
Complete six (6) missions
Dedicatedly participate* in at least one "Crystal Retrieval" event. (These will be clearly announced.)
To earn "Elite" status:
Execute eight (8 ) successful missions or
Complete eleven (11) missions
Dedicatedly participate* in at least one "Crystal Retrieval" event. (These will be clearly announce.)
