Welcome to our very first Drawing Contest. The theme will be Monthly Collectibles. I challenge anyone who wants to take part in this contest to think up two things which they think should be a monthly collectible, and draw out a picture similar to the artwork found in the MC Museum that depicts two characters using the items. The Deadline will be the 15th of August, which should be plenty of time to come up with ideas. You may use whatever tools you'd like, such as pen, pencils, colored pencils, charcoals, and so on. Please name your Monthly Collectibles and if possible, provide some sort of story to back your theme. There will be one winner, and that person will receive two August 2008 Thank You letters, courtesy of myself.
I need two additional judges, so if you would like to judge, please let me know; but Judges, be aware that you will not be able to enter into the contest. This will prevent fair and unbiased judging.
The following images are examples of what I am challenging you to create for this contest. Be creative and do your best! Good luck.

Yeah tell me about it..
Lyssa has come up with some great ideas for contests.. but the only problems are the lack of members, and also I think we're all hurting from this economy so it's hard to put up the dough for prizes.. Hopefully both of these issues will change and we will be able to put some contests together and get some constructive competition going here in the guild.

Heh, screw it. The deadline may be long since passed, but I'll still enter.
Ya hear that Cap'n Brain Storm? I'm gonna enter! . . . I'll be the only one, and I don't really want any prize. I'd just like to get something up in the guild. I've felt like dead weight, so I'll throw my own spice into the mix. That should liven things up, even just a scooch.
