A medium (plural: media) is what you draw or create your artwork with.
So what do you like to work with? What do you use to make your art, whatever it may be?
Pencil and paper? Or tablet/mouse and program? Something else?
Share with us what you prefer to work with. :3

When I first started exploring art.. I definately drew all the time... I went through a stage of being fascinated with human anatomy...lol I mean drawing parts of the human anatomy... I found this to be perfect grounding later in my art growth. I then moved on to acrylics... They are great but fast drying and well though the colour range is great it's not too flexiable..... I then moved on to Oils!!! oh these are the love of my life.. 2 day drying time.... lol its brilliant for shifting and moving and for depth in a painting... I have tried watercolour and would love to explore this further. I am a basic weaver so I have been exploring mixed media art. I love trying my hand at anything creative and wage war with my head and heart all the time at trying to 'get out' what Im trying to express.....But that is the nature of many artists... the conflict... the passion... I love it...

Magazines cutouts and other interesting bits paper or fabric for collage and decoupage. I've been working with metal lately. Thinking of combining this with the beading I used to do and fashioning some interesting necklaces can also combine the smaller metal items with my collages.

I try to work best with whatever I got. 8D I really do love doing pencil work as well as oekakis on the computer. It sucks to do stuff without a tablet, but it's a fun challenge. x3

Me personally, I like to use pencil, ink, and colored pencil. I just can't imagine using any other type of medium, you know? ^^' I've yet to try markers, but for now, pencils are my favorite. Occasionally I'll use something else digital, but that's not very often. xd

I like using pencils for sketching and common ballpoint pens (preferably black) for inking. I heart drawing. But I normally just use pencils. 4laugh If I feel like it, or if I have the materials, I use felt tip pens and/or color pencils for coloring.

Depends on what I'm doing. If I'm doing more realistic art, I love charcoals and graphite. I also liked doing ink sketches in my art class so I may start doing those too. For flowers I love using watercolor pencils.
However for my manga stuff, I range everywhere. Depending on the look I want I'll use watercolors, markers, or my tablet and GIMP. The one thing that stays pretty constant though is my preliminary sketches are pencil with lines inked by hand.
