Me vs. One Missionary at a time a total of 4 of them. The result...
I GOT DESTROYED OUT OF MY MIND!
I lost 2 times to each of them. My only victory of the games was I never fell over when they threw me over their heads. I managed to stay on my feet due to good balance. Don't get me wrong, I'm no wimp! I'm really strong for my age! (14 almost 15) However the missionaries managed to pull me to my feet and make me continue forward each time. It was fun though.

I played it at EFY one year and at our stake's Joseph Smith Encampment. I did alright, didn't win much but I put up a good fight lol

I hate losing at that game.
I milk goats, and so my grip is supposed to be exceptional, but I always always lose grip! It's so frustrating! Dx
Hecka fun game though, when I have someone who matches my strength, we sit there pulling for quite a while before either of us get thrown or the stick slips from MY grasp because... Rawr... Also, one of my arms might be weaker than the other, so the stick turns. xP

Its really not that painful if you have good balance like me. Every time I got thrown I stayed on my feet even if I got airborne. Or you could tuck and roll but I think staying on my feet looks cooler. It really is fun though.

Isn't it interesting to think that Joseph Smith still found the time to play this with others even while serving as a prophet? I wonder if we ever take ourselves too seriously because we are afraid of how we look or if we can win?

maybe, but all I know is winning is important to me. After all, Hank Aaron once said, "If winning isn't everything, then why do they keep score?" My friends and I kept records of how many times we beat each other.

I've heard of it and wanted to play, but my female friends aren't very competititive(thats not right) and my guy friends don't like playing against girls(they don't do anything that might hurt us baah)

I haven't played that game specifically, but occasionally my sister and I will sit across from each other and pull on each other's arms, etc. So it's like stick pull without the stick.
