The Genny Rules:
1. We all like to let loose some curse words here and there but please no one go overboard {myself included}
2. No user bashing please. If you have issues with fellow Gaians, please do not bring it in either thread {unless you turn it into plot development. lol}
3. Read every post before posting yourself so as to avoid confusion or overlapping story lines.
4. If you wish to participate, PM me first with a bio on your character. Nothing big, just a name and description of personality &/or powers {tektek an avi} With my okay, you will post the bio on this thread.
5. Yes your character may have powers or be mutant or whatever, but there's a limit of three major powers & three mutant-ish thingies {i.e wings or fins} If your character is all mutant than it counts as one {i.e they're a werewolf fish...that counts as one mutant-ish thingie}
6. You are allowed to create more than ONE character but only ONE will be your RP character. Others may simply be PCs. {PC= playable character. Meaning, that anyone can use the character as they see fit as long as they follow the guideline.}
7. Your RP is yours & you have the final say in their actions. So if someone writes something about your RP that's out of character, bring it up in this thread or PM me about it. I'll have a chat with both parties. {but no fighting or cussin', just a friendly critic ^_^, it is ur RP after all}
8. If you'd like to add a PC, give me a PM & I'll post it onto the PC list
9. Romance will be allowed but nothing pass PG-13 so no Lemons!{sex scenes}
10. Make sure to take your signature off when posting in the RP

The Cutscene Rules
1. Before a cutscene is posted, you must post on this here thread that you will be starting a cutscene.
2. More than one person can be involved, as long as you follow the Genny rule of: read before you post.
3. When the cutscene has come to an end, at the bottom right corner, whoever is the last to post in the cutscene, must put [return] This will notify the rest of us to continue posting in the regular format.
The Dueling Rules
1. Whenever a conflict arises in the RP between RP characters {not including PCs} dice will determine the out come.
2. Before their cutscene is finished, they must first come into this thread & roll two 6-sided die. The outcomes are as followed:
-Rolls that equal from 2 - 5 shall be a lose.
-Rolls that equal 8 - 12 shall be a win
-If either person rolls a 7, the conflict shall be a tie
- If both roll die that are 2 - 5, their characters must come to an agreement and stop fighting
- If both roll die that are 8 - 12, their characters shall be interrupted from battling
3. This makes the chance of winning completely random, so either parties involved in the cutscene must be ready for multiple outcomes.

RPG Specs:
Setting: Gaia. Mostly within the halls of the secret academy of Gaian Arts found off the coast of Gambino Isle. Most students live on campus but few commute from ferry off of the three other Gaian Towns.
Background Info: GA has maybe less than 200 students. Most of whom aren't exactly human.
Gaian Arts Building: Five Floors. Six including basement.
1st Floor: Gym. Lobby. Theater. Bathrooms.
2nd Floor:Art Hall. Bathrooms. Theater Balcony entrance.
3rd Floor: Computer Labs & Filming Studios. Editing Room. Storage. Bathrooms.
4th Floor:Music Classes. Orchestra & Band Rooms. Choir Room. Instrument Storage room.
5th Floor: Cafeteria. Olympic Swimming Pool. Restrooms
Basement: Boiler Room. Janitor's Office. Teacher's Lounge. Locked Storage Room. Chem. Labs
Dorms:Three separate building located East, West, & South of the GA building
Sasha Flats: All Girls. Fancier and best kept dorm, located west of GA. Very spacious @ only three floors high with four dorm rooms on each floor. Mary-Grace is the RA.
Liam Hall: All Boys Well kept and rustic. located East of GA. A long hallway in design, only two floors high bout holds ten dorm rooms on each.
Haji is the RA.
Moira Manor: Co-Ed. An apartment complex found directly south of GA. seven floors high with about five apartments on each. Justin is the RA.
Medical: The Medic Building is found south of G.A. behind M. Manor. It's the most advance facility in all of Gaia, although barely used as the resident doctor, Haji, is capable of healing everything from a papercut to organ failure. The facility itself sterile, clean, and run by A.I. robots. Five floors high with an ICU unit taking up the entire fourth floor.
1st Floor: Radiology department. Waiting. Reception. E.R
2nd Floor:Surgery Unit
3rd Floor: Physical Therapy Unit. Hospital Staff Lounge.
4th Floor: ICU Unit
5th Floor: Recovery Unit

- Art Hall & Theater are free to use 24/7 unless there is a class or performance. Regulations must be met to sustain this open door policy.
- Cafeteria is open 24/7 with robots running 4th shift {10pm-5am}
-Several diff. classes may go on @ any given moment in the same hall so be respectful to other students and Professors
-@ G.A. we don't use classrooms, rather entire floors are our classrooms so that several classes are visible and the learning experience is much more social

if you click on the World link on the gaia toolbar, you'll see a map of gaia but it not much, just the four towns and the land in between. So for the purposes of the RPG, there is a canal west of Durem that goes in2 an underground canal to Barton which then leads to Akea's river. ^_^-------------------------------------------------- Writing Styles:Indigo & Bold: Fonts in this color will be used to describe the setting. Most likely, as the game goes on, few of us will have to worry because the setting, useless diff. to the prior post, will have already been established.Dark Blue & Italic: Fonts in this style will represent a characters thoughts.Black & Plain: this will make up most of the writing and will be just that."Quotations, Please & Brown": These will really help out in the long run.....trust me. We all know quotations means the character is speaking, please use them, the color jus help visually. ^_^
Italics: most of us use Italics almost automatically. It shows emphasis on the word.
Bold: another no brainer, bold lettering with be used to get the readers attention or respresent shouting in a characters speech
P.O.V: To make our lives easier....lol....it should be told in omniscent point of view. Basically some greater being {{us}} will be explaining the thoughts & ideas of everyone & everything.Quote: Early morning in Gaia, the sun still peeking through the clouds. Several students are on board the Ferry to G.A. The water is calm & cool blue. There's a slight breeze.My head says this will be the same as any other "special school" but my gut....tells me Gaian Arts Academy ain't the same as all the other institutes... Lilith turned her camera on and began to film the captain. "Oh Samantha, don't you just love the new ones? Fresher than a bay of yellow guppies." Housing   In order from left to right,Sasha Flats{But three floors high & the bushes & hedges with wild roses},Moira Manor {seven floors high & a bit more old & beat up looking.}Liam Hall {only with a flat roof so that characters can chill on the roof without sliding off.} I thought these visuals might help you guys along. And as a side note, when you character reaches their dorm for the first time, they'll find their gym clothes in the closet and a full stocked bathroom
The Dorms are pretty much set up the same, except M. Manor. Every floor as a specific number of rooms, all labeled by letters. So if your room is on the first floor and is the third room down the hall, you'd have RM 1C.
- In Sasha Flats, there is a limit of three girls with two communal bathrooms on either end of the halls, on each floor. {8 stalls, 8 showers, 8 sinks.} Max. capacity: 36 girls.
- In Liam Hall, there is a limit of two boys per room with two communal bathrooms on each floor, same as in S.Flats. {3 stalls, 5 urinals, 8 sinks, 8 showers} Max capacity: 40 boys.
- In Moira Manor, rooms are maxed @ 2 with every room having it's own bathroom and small living area. Max. capacity: 70 co/ed. It is also the only dorm with a separate cafeteria run solely on A.I. workers
The following PCs are the RAs of the three G.A. dorms. RA stands for Resident Advisor. They act as the landlords/supers of the buildings and make sure the rules are followed. ^_^

Sweet and cuddly, this upbeat mermaid {yes mermaid} keeps Sasha flats spick & span. With cleanouts ever third day and inspections ever fourth. She's a wonderful conversationalist but a stickler for the rules. No boys after ten ladies or feel the wrath of the mermaid witch. Incidently, she is also the school's Synchro Swimming Coach {not surprising}.

RA: Moira Manor
Born with a platinum spoon in his mouth (silver is apparently too cheap), he looks down on everyone, except for Lilith, his favorite tenant. There really are no rules to be said in the apartment complex other than, don't bother Justin. Not that many would, seeing as he has the power to command the four horseman.

The PCs:  Headmistress Regina Tibbles: A sweet older woman in her late fourties who keeps G.A. in tip-top shape. Well liked by students and staff but don't you dare cross her or let the secret out. She'll have your head......literally Advisor Monk & Monk Jr: Second in command of G.A, he is supposed to have mastered peace and tranquility but can get thick-headed from time to time. Monk Jr. likes to play jokes on people every now and then.OC: GeKKo-san Professor Nicolas Washburne: Head of the Film & Foto department @ G.A., he's the local stud muffin. Witty, passionate, caring and well versed in ancient secrets long since forgotten, he is a world renowned vampire hunter. Janitor Jameson Jones & FangKooky old guy who knows the building and dorms like the back of his hand. He has a thick southern accent but claims to be from Ohio. His dog is only vicious by name, the cutest thing on campus. ^_^ Larry the Ferrymen: Funny little guy. Captian of S.S. SOS, the ferry which every morning & every night {except sundays} commutes to & fro the Isle of GA. He talks fondly of Samatha...his lawn ornament flamingo & the creatures of the deep.  Professor Amy Winn: Head of the Music & Theather department, she is a soft spoken woman who is as graceful as a swan but with a temper of a raging bull. Professor Vince Vance: Laid back sort of man with much refinery, he plays every string instrument known to man and as such teaches. He is also the school's Fencing coach.OC: NathanHellScream Professor Alexis Newell: A reseracher, who used to work for G-corp. She's always working on a new experiment to "help mankind", but most of the time the end up blowing up in her face. She is the head of the Science DepartmentOC: Mia_Sage Coach Gekki Takahata: Brillant man who coaches the Rugby team as well as teaches Physical Sciences. Very social with whomever he meets. This kindly old woman keeps the G.A. library in tip-top shape as well as the school's chess team in line. she has the patience of all of the fishermen and old people in the world. It is said she once won a game of chess because her opponent gave up after 19 hours. o.OOC: GeKKO-san Professor Collin Newhart: He once travelled around the world with a band called Ravent Destiny. Now, after years of traveling abroad with his band, he's settled down to teach vocals & harmonies @ G.A.OC: Mia_Sage Chef James Rocket: The school's head chef, he's kind, quiet, and quite silly. Not to mention a world-renowned chef. No meatloaf for you. He's most known on campus for his infamous Oolong Tea which is said to soothe even the most ravenous of beasts. ^_^ Draco Dragan: Despite his boyish good looks {and sharp claws}, this hyperactive dragon halfbreed is quite the wise one. {He IS 232 years old} Raised in the secret village of Le'Arc De Sol for a century, he speaks fluent French. He acts as the school's mail carrier, from homework assignments to secret love letters, he'll carry them swiftly & safely.OC:Collaborative Professor Amelia Vincenta: She isn't as scary as she looks...fact, she's worse. lol. She's the last of her race, Kurai Elves and math professor. Don't you DARE ever come late to class or you'll find her whip around you're neck. Professor Audrey James: Never was there a woman more passionate about rock n roll & shakespeare as professor James. Having grown up on the streets of Durem, she's a bit rough around the edges and never leaves her bat named Betsy behind lest there be a better time to bash some heads in. She's loved by all and seems to have a crush on a certain chef. XP

You know, with the Rejected Olympics going on, I thought maybe it might be an interesting idea to include the teams in the RP. Not necessarily for the Rejected Olympics , but who know have everyone be apart of one of the teams to create rivalries and what not. Maybe create some NPC students of opposing teams to create conflict. Just an idea, tell me what you think.

I like but what if instead, lyk in ALOT of highschool animes, there's a school festival @ one point & every team for the sports event hail from diff parts of Gaia? Hopefully by then we have more than 5 ppl playin...lol...and we can split up in2 teams & games will be determined by a specific dice roll & the winner has to write how they win for the RPG?

That's an idea to, we can brainstorm more ideas but I just thought it'd be interesting to add the Rejected Olympics teams, just to stir up come commotion.
