Chad Kroeger - Hero

Green lights shoot around the arena, as Super Hero walks out on stage. Met by a tremendous chorus of cheers, he raises his hand in the air.
'And they say that a hero can save us.
I'm not gonna stand here and wait.
I'll hold on to the wings of the eagles.
Watch as we all fly away.'
Super Hero starts to walk down the ramp, slapping hands with as many fans as he can. He tries to pump up the crowd by shouting out "SUPER!", and is met by a response from the crowd of "HERO!"
He then starts walking towards the ring.
'Someone told me that love would all save us.
But how can that be?
Look what love gave us.
A world full of killing, and blood-spilling, that
world never came.'
Super Hero walks up the Steel Steps, and stands on the apron, behind the ropes. He then jumps in the air, using the top rope for leverage, and clears the ropes completely.
Landing in the ring, he keeps himself knelt down before, springing up and, running and jumping to the top of a turnbuckle.
'And they say that a hero can save us.
I'm not gonna stand here and wait.
I'll hold on to the wings of the eagles.
Watch as we all fly away...'
Super Hero's music then dies down as he jumps off the turnbuckle, and stands in the middle of the ring.

Kelly King 2.0 walks out onto the stage with a microphone and his music dies where he stands. He shakes his head. Standing on the stage. "Welcome to GORE, am I right ladies and gentlemen?" The fans cheer, ready for some hardcore action. "No. No. ******** Gore!"
"Ladies and gentlemen you stand now in an arena where violence, hardcore, and death are not only allowed, but they are encouraged, promoted, and rewarded." The fans cheer once again but 2.0 holds up his hand. "But a hardcore match is a specialty match. A match that should be employed to help add excitement to a great rivalry, or a good feud between two people who want to kill each other but have not yet had the means to do so! Gore Pro Wrestling is just a place for all these horrid misfits to gather together in the back and fap to their "expertise" of putting someone through a table or jumping off a ladder, or poking themselves in the eye with a pencil. Well I, Kelly King 2.0, and going to n** this in the bud."
2.0 looks down at Super Hero. "So, I challenge you... Super Zero, not to a Gore Rules match... but to a WRESTLING contest. The Hero vs The King." The fans boo this turn of events.

Super Hero looked around at the arena.
A lot of fans were expecting to see some Hardcore action tonight, but some fans were just really excited to see these two Superstars go up against each other.
"Okay, Kelly. Bring it on."
Super Hero then stepped back, allowing 2.0 to get ready.

Super Hero didn't know whether to trust 2.0, or not. However, whether he would get attacked or not, he would know that he had done the right thing.
Super Hero reached out, and took the handshake.

2.0 shook his hand and his head, bringing the mic up to his lips. "I was kidding about that 2.0 thing by the way."
2.0 brought his foot up for a swift, pre-game, kick to the genitals.----------2.0----------

Super Hero fell to the ground, crumpled in ball, his face in excruciating pain.
It seemed as though everyone's favourite Hero had been proven to have a weakness...

King threw the mic away, ordering the ref to start the match. 2.0 smirked and dropped to the mat, going for a few vicious forearms to the face of his downed opponent.----------2.0----------

Super Hero's only defence was one free hand, but that didn't help much. He felt nearly the full force of the attack.

Just like that, Kelly grabs the ankle and locks Hero into the TF 2.0, cranking away like a madman, forcing Hero to tap after such a cheap blow. The audience boos as Kelly exits.
