1st Post (this post): Announcments
2nd Post: Banner Codes and Signature Pics.
FAQ's and Questions now have their own thread

Announcments
Sept. 3: The guilds are going to be down for "maintenance" on monday, Sept. 5, they say that while the guild will for the most part look the same, but they are redoing some stuff to intergrate new features (perhaps there will be a guild club house or something.) Anyway, these "maintenance" down times usually take longer than expected, perhaps I will start a thread in the Chatterbox for people to come check out.

July 9th Well, the JSG is 6 months old, 500 members strong, and has over 4000 posts, I think we're doing pretty well.
May 15th We are nearing 3,000 posts everyone, good job. The FAQ's and Questions now have their own sticky. And the banner code has changed. If you have a banner in your siggy that links back to the guild, please update your links. If you only have the picture, no link, you don't need to worry. Thanks
March 27th Happy easter everyone. I have created a JSG thread at the Von Helson Mansion in order to easter egg hunt. Come hunt with the guild. JSG Easter Egg Hunt
March 25th: 2000 posts, yay!
Feb 20th: The Ball was a blast! We got a lot of new members too, so welcome. I moved the Banner Code and Signature Pics to this thread because I didn't feel they needed their own sticky anymore, maybe in the future.
Feb 18th: It's Gaia's 2nd anniversary! Yay. Since I'm a dork, I created a thread at the ball especially for the Guild, so go and post (if you're not already posting at the Ball forum) The JSG room at the Gaia Ball!
Feb 15th: The guild has 1000 posts under it's belt now, yay!

Uh reading the guild rules about no advertising . . . perhaps in the future- not now but make an Advertisement thread for people's quests/rps/etc/etc. And just any advertisement go into that thread versus people making new threads every time. 3nodding

Well, I wasn't too worried about it because we have, what, 3 members? But I'll create a thread and rewrite the rule later today.

Forte Fal
*scared to be the first to post* XD
If this is in the wrong spot, I apologize~.

You mentioned in your journal about not being too sure how to install language support for Japanese, outside of enabling it in the browser. I had to fight with my computer to enable it before, so I'm semi familiar with the subject, but these can probably explain it better.

[ Declan's Guide to Installing and Using Microsoft Japanese IME ]
- As the title says. It also includes a pseudo-FAQ and images along with the guide.

[ East Asian Language Support ]
- A site including links on installation of East Asian languages (Japanese, Korean, Chinese). Also includes how to install on some systems that the first one doesn't explain.

Thanks, Forte, I may have to put these in my japanese links post in the "learning japanese" thread

You know you might want to make a new post for every announcement. Because the sticky moves up the page and it makes it easier to notice. Just a suggestion though.

Yeah, true, but I only have two stickies and I locked so this one should be at the top of the page anyway. And I don't know about anyone else, but when I come here after logging on for the first time that day, the threads with new posts don't have the orange icons next to them, they just have the white Icons, so I have to look at the date. Is anyone else having this problem?

ps: this is the guilds 400th post, yay! biggrin

Our banner's new years resolution was to shed some weight, and now the codes for the banners have gone from a heafty 122 characters to a more lean 79, get more from your siggy today!
