The second round could not be any more different from the first, the setting changing from the cultivated, man-made arena to a lush jungle. From any given point, all one could see around oneself are trees, fallen branches and leaves, and full grass. Were if not for the large clearing where the sunlight felt particularly intense, no onlooker would know that this was once the site for disciplined combat.

In the center of this clearing stood a large round ring with a diameter of 50 feet. One could not be sure how stable the ring now was, having long ago fallen victim to the vegetation that surrounded it. From the very edge of the ring outward the jungle continued to grow and thrive, with tree roots stubbornly attempting to destroy the grey stone. Along with these roots, the unlevel floor of the ring was filled with weeds that had grown in the cracks and crumbled pebbles and stone that were removed to make way for the weeds.

From the skies fell yet another Disperse Halo, this one delivering two victors from Round One. There was Yo-ko, the kitsune who claimed victory over Kenta Kitsune, and the other was Christiania who was fortunate in avoiding any strain in Round One. Could Yo-ko, who spent untold ammounts of energy to subdue his first opponent resist the growing fatigue on his body or would his first victory prove to be a mixed blessing against a fully rested warrior?

Despite the rules concerning ringout, the warriors would find their movements highly restricted outside of the ring with the oppressive fence of trees surrounding them and the faint presence of branches over hanging the surface of the tattered arena floor. However, despite it all, both fighters were being watched as miniature cameras had yet again been installed around the ring, placed on tree trunks, branches, and some even on the roots and weeds sprouting from the ring floor.

Ready or not, it was finally time for round two.

Before either contestant begins, please prepare an entrance post of your own to indicate you are prepared to start and once again roll a 20 sided die via post action. Whoever rolls the higher number will be responsible for the initial fight post. All warriors are advised to keep count of the number of posts because no post after the specified limit will be considered for the tournament. One method is to include the post number every time your character makes a move. At this moment, all profiles have been pulled and will be forwarded to the judges. If at any point your character does something not clearly specified in your profile, you will be asked to edit the post or be disqualified. Good luck to you, and may the fight begin.

Though it had only been once before, she was at least prepared for the transportation Keno had decided upon. She hopped off the lowering Halo to land softly on the rocky, unstable floor beneath her. Christiania stretched upward, feeling loose and warm after spending her time in Round One simply warming her muscles and a quick mastering training session that put little to no strain on her body. She had wanted to return to the Reception Hall to watch the battle between Kenta and Yoko, but that wasn't going to happen. So, she had to wait out the battle in the arena that went unscathed. Still, it appeared that her opponent was not Kenta. The male who was standing in front of her appeared worn from his previous battle which made her smile sweetly. This was going to be fun!

"Good luck!" She cheered, waving at him innocently. "Let's do our best, okay?" Her broad smile was beautiful, but her attention turned from her opponent for only a few moments just to check her surroundings. She immeadiately noticed the vegetation that basically encased the two of them, and she giggled contently. What a wonderful arena! The trees surrounding them were dense, and there wasn't a place in the entire arena that Chrissy couldn't find some form of life. It was like the entire setting was made to benefit her abilities and just herself in general. The diclonius was at an advantage already, and it only boosted her confidence though she kept that on the down low. "Oh, this is such a beautiful arena!" She clapped her hands together, making a full turn before turning her aqua eyes back onto Yoko. They sparkled with a startling innocence-everything about her was innocent.

Chrissy chuckled, pulling back her hair into a high ponytail. The bangs fell from the confines of the holder, framing her perfect face making her look rather athletic. Still, she held one of those 'the world is so wonderful' expressions though Christiania was more prepared to win than ever. "Well, I suppose we start?" She inquired more to herself than Yoko. Her nail skimmed over her chin while she contemplated what to do next, lowering her body into a squat. She figured they wouldn't start fighting immeadiately, so she didn't have much to worry about at the moment; however, Chrissy wasn't one for rushing and Yoko may be that type of guy. Sighing, the diclonius stood back up. She must've looked like a fidgety five year old, but it didn't really matter to her. Maybe that's what she wanted Yoko to think of her as. Either way, she fixed her eyes upon her opponent waiting patiently for something to happen with a smile on her face.

(( sorry for the really late reply. i hope i did not waste your time))

Yo-ko was releived and happy that he had been decided victor over kenta. The kid was a great combatant and well trained. none the less, Yo-ko once again proved that strategy, planning, and experience could prevail over an overwellming opponent. This time though, he would have to prove it again.

Once again Yo-ko's vison began to become clear and visible as the halo matirialized himself in yet another location, and another ring. Training and instincts kicked in as soon as he could clearly see everything around him. What he had instantly noticed was the boost of energy he felt. As luck would have it, this round would be conducted in an area overflowing with life: over flowing with energy. Sure Kenta had taken a little more energy out of him then Yo-ko had alloted, planning and rationing his energy so he could go all out if he ever made it to the finals, but the energy and life around him could aid him more then if he had a buddy to tag team his next opponent. Here, it paid to be a kitsune.

His eyes, ears, nose, and mind toke in the surroundings and found his opponent right across the ring from him, talking and waving her hands like a giddy school girl. Yet Yo-ko had an idea that this was just an act. She may not have had an opponent in the first round, but Yo-ko doubted she would be this clueless. Any self respecting warrior would be watching the competition if they had the chance. Yo-ko, unfortunately, had to battle it out with Kenta to get here. He did not get that oppertunity. Yet her little act pushed a thought into Yo-ko's mind that she could very well be well trained. He was preparing for the worst.

The ground he was standing on felt a little losser or....weaker compared to the ground that he had just fought on. With all the vegitation growing around that too could turn into a great advantage for Yo-ko. Either way, he had a plan to make this an efficient fight. If his conclusion about his opponent was right, he would need it....greatly.

"I suppose so. Now, why dont we drop the act. No one is bying it anyways. lets see what you can do, neh...."

(No trouble!)

Post numero uno:

Chrissy giggled again, his comment what she was reacting to. "Oh, you're no fun," she sang, rubbing her cheek as if he had smacked her like she had gotten her hand caught in the cookie jar. Still, he wanted a fight, and Christiania was more than happy to give him one. Her crystalline eyes were flaked with a crimson hue, Astraea having a look-see at their opponent. "You'll take him down," the voice cooed encouragingly then cackled menacingly. Chrissy smiled at the compliment, cracking the vertabrae running along her neck before springing into action.

"Okie dokie!" She called as four energy-driven arms loomed over her body. These were her vectors-invisible to the eye arms that were thicker than both of her own arms put together. They didn't seem to dangerous, but that was a ficade. After a moment of excruciating silence, the four appendages shot forward swirving with startling speed toward each of Yoko's own appendages with the four hands outstretched ready to snatch up his fragile bones while Chrissy simply stood watching them attack her opponent. If she was lucky, Yoko would be trapped and couldn't possibly move. If he tried, well, she'd simply break them all off so he couldn't move for sure.

These weapons could reach thirty meters, and could slice through any human bone like a surgical knife. Christiania almost felt bad for Yoko that he had to fight her, but that didn't faze her for very long. She was no moron and kept her focus and composure as she stood still with a sadistic smile plaguing her lovely features. He had beaten Kenta which meant he was business, and Chrissy was not going to let him beat her. She would fight until she could barely stand. It was on.

:: Once again, the lady began to speak. Yo-ko's intsincts had told him something was up, so he began his preperations. His eyes changed from its eternity blue to a shadow black and dark red. The single slit in the eye was the famed kitsune-gan. It had abilities that allowed yo-ko to surpass other eye and perception based abilites thanks to a mutation in his genes. this single mutation gave him a huge advantage. this was just one of many.

The kitsune-gan showed a full 360 degree vision, the ability to see faster then a normal close to 45-50%, the bodies energy system, the energy of the world around him, and through illusions, to a certain extent. there was only on man who he could not see through even though he knew it was an illusion.

Once his eye was active, yo-ko saw nothing revealing an attack until he saw little ripples comming from here. There seemed to be no energy involved, which is why it was later then Yo-ko reacted to most threats. Yo-ko formulated his plan. now it was time to exicute it.

pushing backwards with his legs to gain some distance while reaching wth his left hand, Yo-ko reached into his pouch of "toys" and pulled out his 20 foot chain and kama. At the same time, yo-ko formed his right hand into a gun shape. Focusing some energy into his figner, yo-ko expelled the energy into a single purple rei-bullet aimed for the "between the eyes" shot while spinning the chain and kama round him, clearing the danger momentarelly.

In theory, this was a simple plan. well, in fact it was. he was using a counter attack to try to eliminate or slow her blitz like offensive. to be truthful to himself his was quite surprised, but not off guard. He had recognized this type of person. He had encountered them just once in his life and had barely escaped with his life. the weapon he had drawn out was built because of that encounter. The chain was bult by a rare and synthetic metal that Yo-ko had worked on for about three years to get it just right. it was a tough and durable metal that could occilate at a very high rate, allowing it to cut through very strong objects with ease. However the greatest advantage was the ability to allow energy to flow through it with unimaginable ease, allowing Yo-ko to control it like a apendage. The idea that was given to him by his opponents race.

Not all the danger ended there, the rei-bullet Yo-ko had fired took little energy to produce, but had the power of a 50 caliber armor pearcing incindiary round. with some opponents, thats all it took for the finish. he spoke to himself as he moved backwards.

"damn. its one of them. not only that its a happy little giddy one as well. just like the one i had encounted way back. what freaks...."

Three!

His eyes were different. Christiania noticed the difference while she watched him distance himself from her. Obviously there was some meaning behind it, but Christiania had never seen something so curious. She didn't know any others that eyes changed, but she figured it was for fighting and not because of a dual personality. either way, it was really cool.

A small pout plagued her lips, but she in no way seemed truely bothered by his step away from her. If he thought that her vectors were that short then he was messing with the wrong diclonius. Thirty meters was bigger than the arena. She was half-insulted he thought he could simply dodge her vectors. They were special. These arms could be controlled by her, but usually she just allowed them to roam freely and destroy whatever was attempting to hurt her. Vectors were more of a defense than an offense to Christiania, though proven wrong in many situations by that.

Shooting the energy from his finger directly between her eyes, they widened. Energy that came from his hands? Woah, this guy was pretty cool indeed. Still, she thought it was too simple and was disappointed that he was going easy on her. Lowering her real hands with her palms open towards the ground, Chrissy muttered a few words unaudibley with her eyes closed. She didn't even seem to notice the bullet flying towards her face. A few seconds before the attack smashed into her face, the diclonius was propelled into the air making sure to keep it more like a high jump. She had to stay within the boundaries. The jump was about six feet high, but the energy pasted beneath her and hit a few trees behind her. Chrissy looked where it had gone and smiled. Chrissy used the air element she was able to control to blast her upward and dodge the attack completely.

As a counter, she muttered a few more words to herself with her hands outstretched as if prepared to grab something building. A boomerang appeared in each hand both only visible because of the wind swirling around as if contained in strong glass. Giggling flippantly, her tight hold was released, and the boomerangs went flying in two separate directions, but both had their target and wouldn't cease coming at him until Chrissy called them back or she was knocked out. Yoko would hopefully be busy fighting off the boomies while she took him apart. It made her giggle again.

Now that the boomerangs were silently zooming around the arena, the diclonius focused her attention back to the strange chain he had coiled around himself as if for protection. The movement of the cahin was familiar, but she couldn't place it. Not that it really mattered. Did he think it would keep her from slicing through the metal like it was butter? She blinked in confusion. "Is that supposed to do something?" Chrissy spoke quietly tilting her head. Not only were they stronger and faster than any normal person, they could penetrate a humans body without damaging it-damaging a person from the inside instead. How could a chain stop them?

The four vectors seemed to realize this, and propelled themselves further with more fervor than before. Masterfully they weaved between the movements of the chain and met Yoko. The each reached out to grab his limbs slithering about like a snake. "Taking their sweet time," Astraea thought dismally, her voice echoing in Chrissy's head. The diclonius ignored it though as she noticed one of her boomerangs zooming toward him from the far left of the arena. It should hit him, or at least distract him long enough for Chrissy to do something else.

Her entire plan seemed to be just to distract him, and it appeared to be working well enough. Whether or not her vectors were sucessful were not too big of a problem from her. Christiania had more of an advantage than her opponent knew, and it made this fight a whole lot more fun.

Hands down, she was a much, much higher caliber opponent then kenta was. She was fully rested, and Yo-ko wasn't. Yet her flurries seemed to be slightly more about destracting him then actual damaging him. Yet he never underestimated his opponents. Yo-ko just noted that for later reference.

Thankfully, he counter attack required energy and his eyes could pick them up. in his field of vision, they might as well have been flares. the energy used to creat them was still used in the attack. so for now, they where at least visible. it was a minimully comforting thought. There movemenet pattern however seemed to push the thought that they where tracking. Yo-ko needed great care when dealing with these. one wrong move....

Now he had to adjust his plan slightly. now movign off at an angle to the right, still backwards, his idea formed once he heard he speak about his chain and kama. out of respect for her race, he would give her the explanation. it was something he normally did not do, he prefered the element of surprise. However, this he could say that they had a fair battle. when he spoke, he never stopped moving/

"the chain is not an ordinarry chain. i gained the idea from nearly being killed by three of your kind. i got jumped comming back from an op. the ability to move your litlle...tenticle things with such acuracy and precision made me realize that if i ever encountered them again, i would need somethign similar. it took me three more years to perfect it, but after thousands and thousands of tests i finally perfected the metal. i wont give you its secret and i hope you apreciate this explaination, because i understand how dangerouse you are. this is completely out of respect."

However Yo-ko's plan needed more info. he knew that they could control them, but did the tenticles have a mind of there own. cause if not, he had his plan made and this battle won....hopefully.

Yo-ko focused some of his energy into his eyes to creat an illusion for her. this was yet another advantage the Kitsune-gan gave Yo-ko. most illusions where cast when they looked eye to eye. with 360 vision, he was always looking them in the eye. * so with that, he cast a simple illusion of him dissapearing from his current location and appearing behiend her tryign to stab her with her own tenticle*. in reality, he grabbed about 25 exploding kunai and kinking and running on a crescent vector around her, flung them at different locations at the body hopping to obtain the informtation he needed while stile flinging the chain around him. once the two matters met, she would understand its ability and improtance.

*this did not actually happen yet. it is still defendable (how i dont know seeing as your character did not have any issuion based deffensise, but i leave that up to you) i just could not come up witht he right words to explain how i could "try" an illusion and still explain what it was. when i proof read it, i confused myself.
