The second round could not be any more different from the first, the setting changing from the cultivated, man-made arena to a lush jungle. From any given point, all one could see around oneself are trees, fallen branches and leaves, and full grass. Were if not for the large clearing where the sunlight felt particularly intense, no onlooker would know that this was once the site for disciplined combat.
In the center of this clearing stood a large round ring with a diameter of 50 feet. One could not be sure how stable the ring now was, having long ago fallen victim to the vegetation that surrounded it. From the very edge of the ring outward the jungle continued to grow and thrive, with tree roots stubbornly attempting to destroy the grey stone. Along with these roots, the unlevel floor of the ring was filled with weeds that had grown in the cracks and crumbled pebbles and stone that were removed to make way for the weeds.
From the skies fell yet another Disperse Halo, this one delivering a victor from Round One and a second fighter who was fortunate to automatically advance. The victor was the warrior Kendo Foxx who faced off against the Jedi Knight Valin Lobel , and his challenger would be Unks, husband to his green tressed disciple. Both warriors were in for one hell of an interesting match, and the host was particularly entertained at the prospect.
Despite the rules concerning ringout, the warriors would find their movements highly restricted outside of the ring with the oppressive fence of trees surrounding them and the faint presence of branches over hanging the surface of the tattered arena floor. However, despite it all, both fighters were being watched as miniature cameras had yet again been installed around the ring, placed on tree trunks, branches, and some even on the roots and weeds sprouting from the ring floor.
Ready or not, it was finally time for round two.

Whoever rolls the higher number will be responsible for the initial fight post. All warriors are advised to keep count of the number of posts because no post after the specified limit will be considered for the tournament. One method is to include the post number every time your character makes a move. At this moment, all profiles have been pulled and will be forwarded to the judges. If at any point your character does something not clearly specified in your profile, you will be asked to edit the post or be disqualified. Good luck to you, and may the fight begin.

(Reception Area)
::Unks smiled as he held onto his wife as she buried her head into his chest. His hands were rubbing her back softly as they spoke to one another. He laughed lightly when she called him cheesy, but sometimes cheesy works.
He leaned his head back and tilted it slightly so he can look at her when she mentioned his free pass to round two and not to ruin it. He nodded as he spoke.
"Don't worry love. I won't I have been training to hard to lose, but I will give it my all."
As Unks finished his sentence he noticed that a lot more people were in the room, and looking tired. They must have been the losers of the first round matches. He sighed softly and lifted Pith up and placed her on the seat he was sitting in.
"Looks like I got to go love. Wish me luck."
He kissed her softly on the lips before entering the light pillar which brought him to meet his challenger::

::Unks found himself now in a deep jungle in the middle of no where it seemed. His ice blue eyes took in his surrounding and noticed that the ring was worn down and already started to have the jungle consume it like it was there for a long time.
He looked across the ring to see the challenge he must face in his round of the tournament. It was none other then his wife's teacher. "This is going to interesting." Unks thought to himself as he looked at Kendo. His excitement filling up inside him::
"Hey there Kendo, fansy meeting you here."

The prior match had ended long before he had even finished his final attack. Rather than landing on the polished kachine surface of the arena, he landed awkwardly on the uneven stone surface of the jungle setting
Falling back he steadied himself by driving his sword into the ground.
"Hmmm...I suppose I progress."
Sheathing his blade he sat where he had appeared. The battle he had won had not been without its pratfalls. He was fatigued. Closing his eyes he smiled. He would rest.
Falling into meditation the sage felt at ease within the more organic setting. Unlike the prior battleground this one lay thick with the scents of life and decay. This was just how he liked it . The peace would not last long.
Cutting through the stoic silence a familiar voice could be heard. Sighing inwardly he remained as he was, his eyes still pursed.
"Right..."

Yawning the old fox rose to his feet, scratching his scalp.
"I guess your the next one. Fair enough..."
Stretching he began to walk toward the Saiya-jin at a brisk pace.
"According to the brackets you had no opponent in the first round..."
At his time his pace had increased to a power walk.
"You should be rested."
By now he had broken into a full out dash, clearing the space between the two of them. In an abrupt strike he snapped a quick kick to the purple haired man's nose.
"Good..."

::Unks watched as Kendo got up and stretched before walking towards him. Noticing the pace of the kitsune got faster and faster Unks braced himself as he listened to his words. As the kick came at his face Unks caught the foot that was in his face and pushed Kendo back hoping to knock him off balance.
The purple haired Saiya-jin then quickly follower up with a quick barrage of kicks ending with a strong round house kick to the temple of the elder man::
"Well someone is fired up. . ."

Unphased by having his foot caught the sage simply hopped back as he was pushed. Managing to keep his balance by using his tail as a counter weight the Kitsune kept his leg raised.
Snapping his leg back he proceeded to lock ankles as the Saiya-jin attempted his own barrage. Smiling amused he held their legs in thrall
"Same for you I would say."
Shifting his weight to the locked leg the snow fox proceeded to roundhouse kick with the leg he was standing on.

::As their legs were locked Unks tried to free his leg as the roundhouse came towards him. Lifting up the arm needed to block the kick with his forearm he did so, feeling his arm moving from the force that the kick came with when he blocked.
He held the blocked leg back with his forearm as he then went to concentrate on the locked legs. Unks put all his weight on the leg that was planted on the ring floor. He then rotated his leg and ankle to get it free and he pulled it away.
With both feet back on the ground he grabbed Kendo's ankle with his free hand and held it tightly. He then used the hand he blocked with to grab near the Elders kneecap. Unks quickly spun around a few times before releasing Kendo and tossing him across the ring.
Unks watched as his body sored and then kicked off the damaged ring to follow in pursuit keeping his guard up for an attack. He knew Kendo well enough to know something would be coming::
"Well yea! Like you said before, I had to sit out the first round."

The very action that allowed him to roundhouse with the leg he was standing on released his locked leg, by sheer weight shifting alone. Replanting the released foot, the fox sage smirked.
The Saiya-jin's reaction speed was quick, but that was to be expected from the way he was able to block two successive kicks. He was formidable other than the fact he was too direct.
"Good reflexes..."
Watching his ankle getting grabbed it was clear that a centrifugal throw was to be attempted. Just as the purple haired man reached for his grabbed leg with his free arm, the Kitsune pushed off the grounded with his planted foot. Throwing his entire weight into the man's upper body, the act of attempting to throw would unbalance his center of gravity.
With both of his opponents hands focused on his leg, the snow fox struck at both sides of the Saiya-jin's skull aim for pressure points. The blows would further disorient his opponent by disturbing his inner ear fluids on top of causing pain.

::Unks stumbled back as Kendo pushed him. Losing his balance Unks let go of Kendo's leg and used his tail to regain his balance. Seeing Kendo's hands coming in from the sides Unks quickly crouched to avoid being hit on the sides of his head.
While in his crouching position Unks placed his left hand on the ground and quickly did four sweeping kicks to knock Kendo off his feet. If the kicks didn't do their job as Unks moved along the ring floor he left a large wide trail of ice in his wake.
He stood up facing Kendo's back in his fighting stance a good few feet away to be safe. He had his fists up in a boxing sort of manner a smirk came to his lips::
"Yeah Pith is good about keeping me on my toes. You should see how her reflexes are, if you think I am."

The Saiya-jin was thrown off balance just as the kitsune had planned. Though what happened next made the snow fox raise his eye brows in confusion.
"Huh?"
Watching the purple haired man crouch in a submissive position, he clasped his hands originally intended for blows to side of the head and came down with a double axe handle to nape of his neck.
Still airborne the sage stomped off the Saiya-jin's shoulders as a spring board and back flipped for some distance. The chain of events was rather odd in retrospect.

::Unks caught a glimpse of Kendo's hands coming down at him almost at the last second. He quickly did a tumble roll to get to the side of the Kitsune. He jumped up and got to his feet and turned to face Kendo.
Seeing as close combat was getting him nowhere Unks wanted to try something else. He held his hands at his sides and formed two mini compressed ki balls in his hands and threw the one in his right hand at Kendo and then threw the one in his left hand.
As the two flew towards the elder kitsune, the purple haired Saiya-jin started to quickly throw a barrage of ki balls at Kendo and the ring floor to cause dust and rabble to kick up into the area::

Landing nonchalantly the sage watched the Saiya-jin roll away.
"Yes...good reflexes"
Advancing once more in a brisk stride he eyed his opponent critically sensing the fluctuation in his mana levels. As the first Ki blast approached he struck it aside with a quick backhand, sending it sailing towards the incoming blast.
Closing his eyes he slowed to a stop as the barrage steadily increased. A length of chain released from his gauntlets and crumpled towards the ring floor. Abruptly pulling his arms back his chains swung forward batting away incoming blasts. Clouds of debris soon filled the air as stray blasts begin striking against the arena floor obscuring both combatants from view.
"Interesting..."

::Unks took the time while the the ring visibility was bad due to the dust from the ki balls being deflected. Unks charged up his hands he placed his left hand on his leg and began to move it up his body slowly coating his body in a think almost impenetrable ice like shell armor.
Unks then used his right hand to form large stone pillars along the ring floor. He smirked an icy smirk to match his ice blue eyes. He looked on as the dust cleared, before it was almost gone he brought his right hand back and punched one of the pillars as hard as he could sending it towards Kendo::
"Here catch!"

As the dust and debris reduced visibility was once more present. What would be revealed to Unks is that the Sage had not been waiting as he had. In turn the old sage had been preparing and casting a spell.
Crouched with his finger tips to the ground the old sage chanted inaudibly a large spell circle inscribing on the battered arena floor. Making sure to be undetected the spell circle simply acted as a seal to keep the spell under wraps.
Releasing his seal the mage arose with a smile, watching the pillar fly towards him.
"Sure...I suspect you shall have your hands full."
Rumbling violent the stone surface of the arena floor seemed to fissure and split to a greater degree than it had prior to their arrival. The very vines that lay about as atmosphere had artificially been accelerated. I mind flight the pillar had been stopped cold by new growth.
Flowing from his hands like the very vines he was summoning an odd green energy flowed freely like reins on some great beast. Upturning his hand a tree sized vine exploded from underneath the Saiya-jin lashing at him like a 6 foot wind whip pulverizing his pillars.
