What if for some unnatural reason Silent Hill was real and the darkness finally broke free and swarmed the entire world..... What is your course of action?
Mine would be:
1) Meet up with my gf and a couple other friends.
2) Gather weapons/gear.
3) *it's never a good idea to camp somewhere* soooo...... sounds like a perminent road trip sweatdrop like all survival horror scenarios.... it's best not to be in a city *but with evil like Silent Hill's it's hard to think ANYWHERE is safer than another.....*
What plan would YOU do?

Hmmm... well for one I'd be extremely happy... so
1. Take all my weapons and my cat
2. Find some friends
3. Kill monsters!!

1) Since The Darkness isn't continuous before the darkness came i would take a bunch of food to keep from starvation.
2) Get my friends and Family
3) When the darkness did come give everyone a weapon and lock ourselves in a room. If a monster were to come we would be prepared...after the darkness was over I would move onto another location.

I'm sure most people would die off right away.
And (assuming it were real) There is enough human hatred, evil, and powerful emoton to evoke endless amounts of monsters and demensional takes on the town. Every Silent Hill would be different to us though. (I would have to make a thread, I'm just digressing)
What would I do?
Find weapons and prepare to fight for my personal salvation.

1) Gather materials such as as much food as I could, start making weapons and some types of armor, and of course my family and friends.
2) Start training and excericising to strengthen myself.
3) Try to read every book I could before the darkness came so that if I died I would be just a little happier.
It is kind of a hard decision though. I mean it is almost like personal damnation.

Horde all of the BB guns in the house (that's all we have, for now! Dx)
Grab a large knife to keep with me, and as many lighters as possible.
@___@ Erm erm erm, walk to the grocery store and load up on lot's of canned food and bottled water. Chef Boyarde can hold me for quite a while. Chicken Noodle Soup, anything that just needs to be heated for eating and comes in a can that can be kept at room temperature. Grab a pillowcase to keep everything in. Grab a belt to wear and stick guns and knives in. Grab a coat; shortsleeve anything is bad. Exposed skin can be cut far more easily than lot's of cloth. gonk Leather jacket and thick boots are preferable. If the car still works, get gas in the thing and USE it. Carry a credit/debit card, just in case it might make something a little easier.
Check other people's abandoned houses for supplies. Hopefully for some kind of firearm. Realize that firearms may be difficult to handle... so anything that I can hit with would also be preferable. Dx And of course, flashlights.... and batteries.
Goal is to stay alive until I can find Alessa or whomever the darkness has a purpose for. @_@;
Prepared? This wouldn't be prepared by far. Dx

You CAN'T argue with the pipe. lol.... pellet guns xd I got *well my dad has, but he's given em to me someday* a Ruger, about 3 different rifles, 1-2 shotguns, and a ton of ammo. i've never taken the time to personally examine the rifle brands, ill do it someday..... by that i mean ill examine the brand when I care more about a name than I do if it shoots or not. xd Besides, I've played Airsoft for about..... a year now and I go target shooting all the time too. Not to mention, I got a machette and 2 small ax's, and a pick ax *pun for SH4, but true*. Umm, "I" might be overly prepared, but "I'll" be out in the streets cuz if Silent Hill evil broke out, no way in hell am I camping in 1 spot...... I'll go from building to building, and if I'm gonna die, I'll die swingin xd

Necro-Chromatic Damn, someone's gonna have a ******** field day. lol, I already got a list in my head of people traveling with me. If the evil of silent hill truly broke free, there is so much emotion and hatred in the world that monsters of great and diverse multitudes would appear..... and in large numbers too.... best to stay in good company xd but alas, silent hill isn't real....... very sad..... I wish everytime i watch the silent hill movie or play the games that at the beginning it would say "All the events you are about to see were true events"......

I'd have to say, though, I'd most likely be dead in about three days unless running like hell suddenly becomes a strong point. ninja
You can kill teh monsters all you want and that'd probably be fun. x3
BUT, if there is a chance you could stop the madness and survive, why not try for that as well?
If Silent Hill were perpetual, we'd all no doubt eventually die off. Unless your survival skills are epic and you end up becoming a regular residence. But even the residence had to hide away every once in a while. Plus, you've still got the post-apocalyptic settings scenario to live off of... how are you going to eat? Where will you sleep? How will you keep your energy up so that you don't go apeshit crazy and get killed by a monster by accident? ninja
I'd try to see if there was some way to stop the madness (A.K.A ask Alessa). Silent Hill is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there. xd
