the top one was me having fun with my imagination. the bottom one was me arguing with my kitten, everything in the picture we say is true. He's soooo cute, but he's sooo evil sometimes!

biggrin these pictures are really cute the second one is random nd leaves me thinking " what does she want me to critique?" lol xp i think your cat is funny well the first looks really good but you kinda have to work on perspective, some of the buildings look crooked nd if it was because you can't draw straight lines, i suggest sketching lightly in the direction you'd like the line to go instead of just one "stroke", ya know? the other thing would be to work on hands because the way you drew her hand here looks too small nd doesn't look like it's gripping the broom nd her left arm is a bit disproportional- the forearm is too long
sorry if i critiqued too much sweatdrop nd i'd really like to see more of your art, you're quite imaginative!

the first one: well, most of it is fine, but the head and neck seem too large for the body. the neck especially. since she is female, she should have smaller proportions than guys. also, the hand seems a bit awkward, try fixing it up a little. and Lastly, work on perspective, backgrounds, and drawing straight lines. the buildings look a teensy bit messy.the second one: you did it in paint, didn't you? sorry, but paint is one of the worst mediums you can use. one, it is too pixel-ish, two, it is not very advanced. you can get photoshop or Paintshop Pro or gimp or something. A good free program is Paint.NET, it's just as good as photoshop. The lines aren't clean and it doesn't have shading. if you want an example of how to use shading in paint (if that is the only graphic program you have) then here is an example I did:

I hope this helped!

In the first picture, the center of gravity is a bit off. I believe the girl should be leaning forward, or the broom should be rearing back.

I think you have a nice start. If i were you tho I would study in to General anatomy a little bit. There is a place I would like to direct you to for some help with the basic anime figure. I find that Athey can explain things pretty well. here are some links to Athey's tuts Drawing Fundamentalsanatomy basicsI can also post up some basic head and hand structures.
