I'm married, and my husband and I are learning about each other. We've been experimenting with things other than intercourse. Would it be okay if we used our mouths?

I'm not married, and so I can't say that I've been there, but I'd recommend going to LDS.org and try looking up what the Brethren say about it. All I've heard is that, even if you're married, if it's unnatural, then don't do it. I have no idea where things like oral fit into it all.

Being married myself, we had that question too and the answers we found were that its up to the married couple and the Lord if its right for you. For some it is and others it may not be. Just pray about it and if you don't feel you should, then don't. If you have no bad feelings about it, go for it. Its totally a personal thing

First of all, just to clarify for most of the members of the guild who are young and single, Oral is NOT a moral alternative to "real sex" before marriage and IS breaking the Law of Chastity. If that is something a young person is doing, talk to the Bishop.
BUT for a married person, I definitley believe that it is between you 3... hubby, wife, and God. NOBODY else. You can explore a lot of things. HOWEVER, as has been said, that does NOT mean, once you are married anything goes. The Church does not agree with anything that breaks commandments... like adultery (anything that involves any other person (swinging, voyeurism, porn), bestiality, etc.
Also, in a marriage there should be NO pushing each other into things. Both should want to do it or it is a definite no-no. That is BAD sexual relationship in the church. But participating in oral together as husband and while, with no compelling, is fine, in my opinion.

A book you might find useful (I swear I mention this book so much you'd think I was the author) is "And They Were Not Ashamed." It's a book on intercourse from the LDS point of view. It's not doctrine and shouldn't be treated as such but I found it helpful. smile
