[I hereby decree the first meeting of the Animal Club open XD]

User Image Boring day. Yesterday? Another boring day. Tomorrow? Windsong couldn't tell the future but he was pretty sure it would be boring as well. And why wouldn't it be? There was practically nothing to look forward to except perhaps the possibility of morning patrol, and instead of an amphibian, he might actually get something warm blooded for dinner. Exciting.

He stalked off a little ways from camp, sitting by himself. He always felt so out of place in the clan. His vibrant blue fur was different than everyone's and sometimes, he wasn't sure if he was even supposed to be a cat. He had dark blue wing markings on his shoulders and back for StarClan sake! Its was times like this that he wished there was someone else. Different in color, not like a cat, but different. Then again, maybe he was a freak. A stupid idiotic freak of nature. Yeah. Like that made perfect sense.

Wolfbane padded out of the warriors' den wearily. Another useless day, coming right up. This was her true nature. Behind her happy face this was it. She looked around and spotted Windsong sitting alone by a tree. She walked delicately towards him. He and her... They had something alike. They both looked like animals. There were others like her, but they were all in different clans. It seemed that other then him, Mountainvisitor, and Morningphoenix everyone else was normal. Or atleast, they looked normal. They were average cats with average colors and patterns. But, seriously... Wing shapes, mottled fur, and all that weren't average. Why had StarClan bestowed upon them this design?

Wolfbane's pale ebony colored eyes narrowed as she got closer to him. He looked like he either wanted to be alone or needed something... Something, more. Herself however, she just wanted to be by someone who understood. Not someone she'd have to act all happy around. Just someone who got this feeling. "Hey Windsong, mind if I sit here?" She asked quietly.

Wingsong's tail lashed angrily behind him. Soft paws steps alearted him of an approaching cat but he didn't bother turning around. Soon or later the intruder would figure out there weren't wanted. Soft spoken words finally made him turn his head as he stared at Wolfbane. He watched her for several moments before gradually shifting back into his original position, looking out over the ShadowClan marshes. "No." His words were short and blunt. Not all together welcoming. His stormy grey eyes narrowed in concentration. Wolfbane was another of the oddities. Her mutli colored fur was against to vibrant for any normal clan cat. The mix of colors strange and unfamiliar. Kind of like him, as well as a few others he had seen around.

"I hate being different." His normaly sarcastic bitter voice was flat, devoid of any emotion at all. It was something he had had to live with all his life. Standing out wasn't always a good thing.

Mountianvisitor stormed out of the den angrily, gritting his teeth. His mind was filled with memories of his horrible kithood. He had dreamed of his kithood that night, reminding him that he wasn't like other Shadowclan cats. Their tormenting jeers still rung in his ears, telling him that he was a freak. Starclan had given him the pelt of a giant animal called a Llama. For Starclan's sake, he was even given a fluffier tail than most normal cats!

He saw two of his fellow freaks, Wolfbane and Windsong, sitting over by one of Shadowclan's few trees, and hastily walked over to them, tail flicking angrily. He wasn't in the mood to screw around today. But perhaps he could seek shelter with his animal pelted brethren.

"And what do we have here, hm?" He asked Wolfbane with a sarcastic undertone.

Wolfbane nodded with what Windsong said about being different. Any cat would hate being different. Why couldn't they look like them and start thinking that they're different. That would teach them what she had to go through. Her ears pricked up as Mountainvisitor stormed into their little space. She hissed in annoyance. "Yeah, like you're one to talk." She responded in a crude voice. Anger sparked up in her pelt as she watched other cats stare at them. Some were mature enough to get over the fact that they were different. Others still like insulting them for it.

What did they ever do to deserve this from StarClan? Others call it a blessing, but most cats called it a difference. Why were they bothered by what those foxbrains thought anyway? Foxbrains have no right to insult them.

"Oh, aren't we high strung today? You have fleas or something? Hm?" Mountainvisitor sneered, sitting next to Wolfbane. He gave a nod to Windsong, and swished his tail in a way that told them he wasn't in the best of moods. He was still dwelling on the dream he had last night. Those memories were quite painful, never welcome whenever they decided to rear their ugly head.

"So, what are we talking about today?" He asked flatly, no malice or sarcasm in his voice. These were his fellow freaks, after all. Cursed by Starclan to be forever tormented by kits and immature adults.

Windsong smirked heavily at the bitter exchange of words between Wolfbane and Moutainvisitor. "Glad to know that you're so happy to see us, eh?" Windsong hissed. The cream and brown tom wasn't making any secret out of his bad mood, and it wasn't helping Windsong's any either. Moutainvisitor was one to talk about high strung nonsense. "Don't bother coming here and making out that you're the resident saint of normalcy." Stormy grey eyes narrowed dangerously, a spark of anger flaring up in them. He turned and stalked off a few feet, his fur bristling angrily. Then came the question. "What are we talking about? Oh. We're talking about you and me. We're talking about why any of us so out of place. Why we're different."

He stood, his tail lashing behind him as he approached the pair again. His voice was acidic and accusing. It's not like you're oblivious. The sidelong glances, the laughter behind your back? You've noticed. I've noticed. She's noticed." He broke off, his anger slowly evaporated and his enraged features relaxed. He turned away and sat with his tail wrapped around his paws. "I'm just... I dunno. Tired of it." His voice was soft and barely above a whisper. He was tired of it. And somehow, he knew they were too.

"Like I would even try to make myself out to be normal." Mountainvisitor hissed, glaring at Windsong. Accusing him like that! He would never even pretend to be normal, no matter how much he was tormented. His own gray eyes were glittereing with anger towards the normal Shadowclan cats, and how they treated him and the two that were here with him.

"Well it's obvious why we're different. Starclan hates us. That's that." Mountain visitor solemnly spoke, looking towards the gray morning sky. His eyes were giving the message: 'yeah, I mean you.'

"I'm sick of it too. And I'm sick of all these jerks who think they're so high and mighty because they look 'normal." He hissed, turning his head to scatter off a few cats that had been eavesdropping.

Blissfully ignorant she was to how other cats looked at her. Her tail was almost unrealistically long, and her colors rather odd. She had no clue about the creature she looked like, they weren't really native to the area, but she did feel different, but that was not a bad thing in her eyes.

Lontail had to be the most Cheerful and optimistic Shadowclan cat there was. To her the world was a wonderful place and it had no room to be any greater then it already was.

Lontail still had her worries though, among them being Tuxedopelt. He was an old cat and had seen everyone he grew up with save Larksparrow join Starclan already. She had noticed that his other close family did not get along well with him and she felt it her duty to make sure that Tuxedopelt still felt a part of the clan even though his usefulness was vanishing with every moon.

Prodding the old cat out of his den she, guided him really giving him no choice to rather he was going to walk with her or not. Not long out of the camp she noticed a group of cats and she took the opportunity to prod the older cat into getting to know the young ones.

"For Starclan sake, Longtail leave me be!! I'm a warrior not your personally kittypet!!" Tuxedopelt grumped as he was nudged, but in a way he was thank you for a young warrior to be happy to share time with him.

Tuxedopelt became silent as they ventured towards the other cats. Yes he had seen them grow up, but he really knew nothing more then their names. They seemed to be complaining about something and Tux simply smirked.

"What are you lot complaining about?" Tuxedopelt happened to be colored like a penguin, but with a lack of those creatures about most compared him to a badger.

Mountainvisitor's nose twitched slightly at the smell of Tuxedopelt and Longtail as they neared the group. They too, were freaks. Although Longtail was never one to complain, as he noticed.

"We're 'complaining' about how Starclan cursed us with these pelts that stand out like a sore paw." Mountainvisitor huffed, looking Tuxedopelt in the eye.

"We're tired of it. I don't know about you. But we're tired of the snide comments behind our backs, the laughing, the teasing. We're just plain tired of it."
