2 New Term at Hogwarts By: DevilsDarkAngel
-----A new term has started at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The school selects students, who have met the magical quota, for training and learning about magic. Letters are distributed to the students who are eligible, saying that they are accepted and also include a supplies list for their beginning term. Supplies can be bought in Diagon Alley. The students will then be sorted into either of the four houses, Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. And thus the school year begins. This term there are eight students in Gryffindor, one in Hufflepuff, seven in Ravenclaw, and four in Slytherin. This term there is quidditch, D.A.D.A., Transfiguration, Potions, Charms, Muggle Studies, History of Magic, Flying, Divination, Herbology, and Care of Magical Creatures class. So far this term Care of Magical Creatures is the class that has a teacher in it so if youd like to be a teacher please resort to the Welcome New Members! MUST READ! thread. Also the Introduce Yourself Here! Everyone please post your info!!! Thread needs all, new and old members to put your info in it. That is all for now on the New Term at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

3 A Ghostly Interview By: Babyshady -----I took the time to interview some of the ghosts at Hogwarts. According to our ghosts, Hogwarts has basically stayed the same throughout their time, except for some individual years that differentiated from others. The Gryffindor ghost, Sir Nicholas, was the first to be interviewed. Interview Me- Sir Nicholas, what was the most memorable time you had at Hogwarts?
Nick- This would definitely have to be the time I first walked in the doors of Hogwarts. I remember it clearly. I was, like all first years, shocked to see the wonderful school I've heard so much about.
Me- In your time here at Hogwarts, what was the strangest thing you have witnessed or heard about?
Nick- I think the strangest thing that happened here would be what has occurred quite recently. I must say that having Professor Umbridge as a teacher has truly affected our school.
Me- In your opinion, has Hogwarts changed through the years?
Nick- Yes, it has changed in many ways, but also, many things are the same. The teachers and students have changed Hogwarts, and of course the changing of Headmasters. But I am proud to say that things such as the safeness of the school, quidditch, the four houses, and many more have remained the same.

And a special thanks to OliviaS1991 for making this thread and sending me the beginning of our little story. -----I was running to get back to Potions class because I accidentally slept late because no one woke me up! When I was on my way to potions who did I met but the stupid Draco, who at the moment was giving me a hard time, yet again. This time he was calling me a four eyed seeker, who couldn't see a snitch that was black on a sunny day the size of a foot ball.
-----I ran down the corridor to see Snape who already knew I was late and he said, "Well, mister Potter, I see we've been making friends again with mister Malfoy?"
-----"Well, erm, not exactly."
-----"What do you mean, Potter?" said a sneering Malfoy, as Hermione can walking behind them when Snape said "50 points from Gryffindor!"
-----" Well, Uhh...Ummm... WHAT?!... I was going to tell you a Doxie go out of it's cage and Nevil doesn't look so great right now," Said Hermione head down.
-----" Very well then, Potter another 10 points from Gryffindor..."
-----"but......" Harry tried to say
-----"Sit down Harry or you can be our test subject for the potion today RED KILLER"
Harry soon sits down because he knows Snape wasn't joking. Soon after class as Harry, Hermione, and Ron where walking they here snickering and whispering.
-----Draco looked over his shoulder among his group of Slytherin friends and sneered, "My, Potter, I'm sure glad you're not in Slytherin. You'll lose all the points for us!"
-----Harry started to lunge forward before being pulled back by Hermione, as the Slytherins laughed at him and walked away.
-----Harry turned to Hermione and said "When will they realize I can talk to snakes, I could have bought a cobra this summer and set on all of them!" They all laughed together.
-----Snape gives Harry a nasty look and sneered at him then turned his back and brushed himself off.
-----"Come on Harry. We should get back to our common room." Hermione says trying to get away from the scene of the crime.
-----"I can?t believe them! Any wizard is just as good as them" Harry replies
-----"I know Harry, I know "Hermione says trying to calm things down.
-----Ron says trying to make lively of things, "So did you guys hear why Patricia Doew got expelled?"
-----"So why did she get expelled?" Hermione asked, eager to change the topic as well. "Well", Ron began. But before he could explain, howling noises were heard in the distance. "Wh-what was that?" Ron asked fearfully as a bunch of first years came running down the hall scream like lunatics.
"What the bloody hell was that all about," Ron said as he tried to peer around the bunch of frantic first years and trying not to laugh at how stupid they were.
-----"I don't know maybe we should go check it out," Hermione said with a look of worry.
As they turned the corner they noticed Dumbledore, and the Professors, including Snape. "Well, everyone is here!" Hermionie turned to a group 3rd years and asked. "Excuse me, but you know what happened here?" The group shrugged and turned back to the center of attention, they trying to figure out what happened too.
-----Professor McGonagall cleared her throat and announced, "All Head Boys and Girls are to lead their houses back to their common room. No-one is to leave their dormitories until further notice. After that all Head Boys and Girls are to report here"
-----Harry, a bit surprised, said, "It must be something serious"
-----"Must be..." Concurred Ron, "Well, I guess that?s an excuse to clean out Peigwid?s cage..."
-----They walked back to the common room heads down, "Nevil, what happened to you?" Nevil showed up in tattered robes with a bruise on his arms, "Malfoy..." muttered Nevil under his breath with his head down.
-----"What are you two doing here?" Ron asked.
-----"Well, we've heard of a particular shipment of a fantastic new flavour of Butterbeer for the staff..." George began while walking over to them. "And we just wanted to try it out," Fred finished, with a big grin.
-----"Don't tell me that you created that commotion," Hermione said sternly.
-----"Alright, we won't," George said cheerfully.
-----Soon they went down to dinner and who did they find but Draco Malfoy smirking at them. Well, Well , well. What do we have here but the teachers pet, the handy down, he hereo, tweedle-de-de and tweedle-de-dum.
-----Shut up Malfoy just because most people hate you doesn?t mean you have to take it out on us, Ron said.
-----Oh you think you?re so smart well you won?t be in a little bit, Malfoy said while raising his wand.
-----Just then, Hermione pulled out her wand and did the trickiest bit of spell work that would have made Professor Dumbledore proud. In a moment Crab, Goyle, and Malfoy were all on their backs, struck dumb, sprouting feelers.
-----"Miss Granger!!!" said a voice as it was coming from around the corner of the corridor. It was professor McGonagall.
-----"Uh oh," Harry mumbled.
-----"Professor!" Hermione said, her face turning red.
-----"What is the meaning of this! Using magic against your classmates is against the rules," McGonagall said sternly. With a look at Draco, Crabbe and Goyle, McGonagall, turned back to them and said, "Hermione, go to my office and wait for me there. As for the rest of you, go back to your dormitories." McGonagall turned back to the fallen trio and took them to the hospital wing.
-----Harry and Ron weren't about to sit around the dormitories and wait for Hermione, so as soon as Hermione was far enough away(for they knew she would never let them watch her be scolded) Harry ran to his trunk and pulled out his trusty invisibility cloak. They both managed to fit under it, and waited, invisible, in McGonagall's office.
-----The door opened and Professor McGonagall swept into the office and sat down behind her desk. "May I ask why you used magic against your peers?" McGonagall inquired.
-----"Well, you see, Draco, Crabbe, and Goyle were going to put a spell on Ron, and I had to stop it," Hermione explained.
-----"Well, weren't there any alternative ways to solve the problem?"
-----"I suppose," Hermione admitted hesitantly. "Remember, magic is never to be used unless under extreme circumstances. I'm afraid I'll have to deduct 30 points from Gryffindor." Hermione nodded and slowly walked out of the office. Harry and Ron were still invisible in McGonagall's office. She made sure the door was shut, then sat at her desk, opened a drawer and pulled out a pensive.
-----"Ron, do you think she will mind if we sneak a peak at her thoughts" Harry whispered, winking at Ron as they gathered closer to the desk. As soon at they were sucked into the pensive Profesor Snape ran into the room of the pensive, "Where do you suspect we are?" Questioned Ron.
