Nine had stopped her running after they reached the plains, deciding that the trainers had enough of a jog already. Luna took a deep breath as soon as she caught up with her pokemon. "Geez Nine, sometimes I wish you weren't so fast." She teased her pokemon, pausing a bit to catch her breath.
She looked behind her, waiting for the other two trainers. She wondered if they had fallen too behind on their run. "Heeeeeey...Lamen, Aimi, speed it up a little, then we can take a break!" She yelled.
Nine just snorted and started to continue trotting forward, much more slowly then before.

Aimi finally caught up to Luna, her cheeks red and her breath coming out in heavy puffs. Stopping a moment, she bent over with her hands on her knees to try and catch her breath. "Oh god bless the world," she panted out. "Not even buneary run this fast!"

Meanwhile, Lamen was so far behind that she was out of sight. The pokemonless trainer sighed, bending beneath the weight of her (extremely heavy) Lairon brand backpack. They were made to be durable, not light. Apparently, the insides would remain undamaged from a full-on tackle from a steel pokemon- and from what Lamen had experienced in battling so far, this would be a likely occurrence.
Finally the two others were within speaking range, seemingly exhausted. "Heyyy! There's no point running if you're just going to stand there catching your breath later, you know." She said just a cheerily as before, obviously not tired. She hadn't run at all- only trotted a little in the beginning when her companions had suddenly raced away, taking her by surprise. Making Lamen run was impossible unless there was seriously grave danger- in this aspect, she resembled a Snorlax, or perhaps a Slakoth.

"Of course they don't run that fast, they jump, duh~" Luna teased, she had already regained her breath. Runs like these were actually pretty common occurances to her, especally when she was in the wilderness. The joys of being chased by wild Stantler.
"I'm fine!" Luna shouted back to Lamen. "We do have to hurry to the area before dark though, so speed up you slowpoke!"
The trainer continued to follow Nine, knowing that the garden was probably only a few meters away now. She could already see the bushes and trees of Nine's land sticking out of the flat grasslands like a sore thumb.

Letting out a sigh, she paused a little longer then stood and stretched. With a few more minutes to regain herself, Aimi began to jog after Luna, even doing so backwards to smile and watch Lamen be slow.

"Mmh." The halfhearted reply wasn't loud enough to reach Luna's ears, although Lamen's pace did speed a little. Power walking was the least she could do. However, getting too close to Nine was undesirable... she didn't know if the Ninetales held a grudge. It was safer that she keep her distance for now.

Kubwa'Siwa lay at the base of a berry tree, mostly out of view of the approaching pokemon and trainers. Fortunately for all of them, the wild stantler was completely unaware of their approach, as she had only just finished a berry-feast in the garden, which was not too far from her home in the forest.
With a satisfied sigh, she stood up, the shapes of these 'intruders' meeting her eyes as she looked at them with shock in her eyes, expecting to have a peaceful walk home.
"Meddling humans, wonderful..." She grumbled to herself, "And their traitorous pokemon too. This is going to be interesting." She snorted, stomping the ground with her hoof to show her displeasure as she took an aggressive stance to face the oncoming pokemon, their trainers in tow.

After a few more minutes of walking, they were at the first berry bush of the garden. It only took a few seconds for Nine to sniff the scent of Siwa and growl at the threat of an intruder. This was HER territory. Her tails started swishing around in anger.
"Oh god..." Luna said, spotting the stantler. It looked quite familiar...OH WAIT. It was that stantler that attacked her one day when she was wandering. And it was in Nine's territory now...and the ninetales was already quite pissed...and...life was wonderful.
Luna removed a growling ChuChu from her hat and plopped it in Bun's arm before dragging the trainer back a few steps. "Watch out! It's agressive..." She warned to the other trainer before pulling her behind a tree.

Aimi blinked rapidly, staring down at the growling raichu in her hold and found she wasn't sure which to be more fearful of. ChuChu, Nine or the stantler that did not look pleased to see them. Sweat-dropping, she gave a nervous laugh. "Good girl, ChuChu?"

Something about the people ahead of her seemed to be wrong, but Lamen couldn't quite tell at that distance. She did, however, notice an extra figure that was neither human nor one of Luna's pokemon. Perhaps it was wild, and attacking? She continued walking forwards, a little confused as to what was happening.

The furious Stantler snorted and glared at the Raichu, recognizing the electric rat from a previous battle. Unfortunately, she had lost, but she was stronger now. "Watch yourself, sparky." She teased, "I'm in no mood to deal with you today." She said, shooting a hateful glare at Luna, "Or your human, for that matter. Do us both a favor and get your hides out of here." She spat before turning to look at the dark Ninetales.
"Now there's a sight, what exactly are you supposed to be? Don't tell me you're with those creatures as well?" She shook her head and took a bold step forward. "Honestly, what can Pokemon hope to gain from traveling with humans? They are weak and cowardly. Just look at them, hiding behind the trees over there." She snorted, quite aware that the trainers could not understand a word she said. It was still fun to harass their Pokemon, though.
"How about you all get out of here before I'm forced to hurt you."

"Chuu!" ChuChu said, releasing a few sparks from her cheeks. She really did want to electricute that stantler. The raichu wiggled in Aimi's arms, but was stopped by Luna's palm pressed to her forhead.
"Hey you, you need to protect Aimi, m'kay?" The trainer said the the raichu. ChuChu took a deep breath to calm herself before hopping onto Aimi's sholder and rubbing her head against the girl's cheeks.
"Chu!"
Luna turned to Lamen. "HEY!" She threw Albireo's ball at her, wanting to give her some last minute defense incase the stantler charged. "Be careful, hostile stantler!" She warned Lamen.

Nine snorted at the stantler's threat. "Humans are physically weak, I agree with that, but you hurting me?" The ninetales started to glow, being powered up by a nasty plot attack. "You are much too weak to even try."

Back behind the tree, Luna knew by Nine's glowing that she was prepared to attack. Joy. "See? This is why I said traveling was unsafe..." She commented to Aimi.

"I never said traveling wouldn't be?" she replied with another nervous laugh. As ChuChu nuzzled her cheek, she calmed down slightly and reached up to lightly scratch behind one of the raichu's ears, murmuring at her softly. "Should I point out this is my first time running into a wild pokemon?" ((I dunno how @ .e))

At first she didn't understand why the other trainer suddenly released her dewgong where Lamen was, but after hearing what she had to say, she laid a hand on Albireo's head and patted it gratefully. "Thanks!" Lamen shouted back, watching with interest from her distance as the wild pokemon battle unfolded. It didn't seem like they were in any danger... the Stantler was very outnumbered by Luna's team. Was she going to catch it?

"Don't mess with me, you've been warned." She smirked, seeing the black Ninetales begin to glow.
"You're thinking of gaining an edge? Nice try, but two can play at that game." She stomped her hoof into the ground and her antlers pulsed brightly for a moment, distorting the air around them to make a swirling effect around her for a few seconds. Oh yes, this was a wonderful feeling! Siwa could feel the power of Nine's Nasty Plot coursing through her veins.
"Thank you for that. I don't get to use that very often." She laughed, "Now, let's see what you've got."
((YES 8D Siwa's HP = 1000 +50 ATTK from Psych Up (if it's allowed, Stantlers have it as an egg move. If not, I'll change my post ^^) should we roll to see who goes first? ))
