okay so i play double french horn and i wanna know if its hard to play triple french horn?? i was hoping to play triple but senior year (going to be freshman)

I read that Triple Horn makes the player more fatigued. I believe you have to use LOTS Of air. :3 Look up:Horn on Wikipedia... =D

tripple horn is really fun. You do have to use lots of air and the horn is really heavy, but it's fun. I would request getting really good at the double horn first before you think about getting a tripple horn. And, in case you do get it, just a little warning: you have two thum valves. One is the B-flat key and the other is the "octave" key. To use the octave key, you have to hold down the B-flat key and the octave key, and the octave key puts you in the key of F. Have fun!

i've heard of triples but never played one! then again this is my second year of band so i don't expect to have played one!!! biggrin at band camp my master class teacher showed me one and it looked really cool!

my band director doesn't believe in the triple horn i don't think but i want to play it really badly. i think we just got our double horns repaired. maybe i'll play triple in college.
