Personally, i've only ever seen him as the 10th doctor, but i know he's a good actor and could probably play the character pretty well, that's the whole point of acting after all.

Has anyone seen him in anything other than Doctor Who/Harry Potter? I've seen him in many things, and he's very versatile. One role scared me to death, and the other drove my friend to tears. I'm pretty sure he could pull it off. Looking like the Riddler kinda helps, too. mrgreen

I like this idea; I think that Tennant would make an excellent Riddler.

OMGYES. ^^
I'd go see Ten in anything. Batman + Ten would just mean even more awesome. (Why yes, I am a fangirl. Why do you ask? xD)

That would be fun. He would certainly make be a crazy riddler. I kind of like it.
Though I also heard a rumor that they would get Johnny Depp for that role, but that doesn't have a petition as far as I know.

He already has Willy Wonka. And Jack Sparrow. Imagen them on Speed.
Nope, I think David is the one with that kind of special energy. He is very good at being fast moving and funny. Johnny just walks along.
Speaking of versatile. It's interesting watching this one actor playing this innocent (?) childish dad on a Disney show, then later see him in another show cutting off this poor girls finger. And he was doing both shows at the same time. Strangely funny in a way. And scary.
Dr. Who fans probably wouldn't know the difference in terms the wardrobe. It's just green and purple instead of so many other colors.

I don't know if I could beleive a preformence of the Riddler by Tennent. He certainly has the mania down, and he played a villain alright in HP- but that was such a small role... But I can't think of anyone else to take the role. I guess I'm just hesitent. I actually liked Jim Carry as the Riddler. neutral

Tennent was trained classically so I think he could pull of the riddler just mix some Iago from Othello with the 10th doctor

Like I said before that David Tennant would be a good Riddler, but my friend also suggested Mark Hamill.

Casanova was a lighter role.. I was thinking more of Recovery, or Secret Smile.. much darker and he plays a psychopath in one and a man who has lost his memory and becomes bipolar (his emotions change abruptly and frequently). He's fantastic and convincing in both.. Secret Smile freaked me out because of him and Recovery made a friend and I nearly cry because of how convincing and real it felt. I think he'd make a great Riddler.

Ah! I was totally talking about this recently on a thread. I honest-to-God believe Tennant would make an excellent Riddler. Just the craziness I've seen Ten have takes care of the belief for me. I'm sure he's shown that in other roles, too. I have faith in the man to do anything, and I think he'd be the perfect fit for The Riddler.

Oh I would love to see this. This would be a chance to do the Riddler right. I had no problem with Jim Carry's acting in that role but it wasn't The Riddler. They wrote it wrong. He was too manic and too concerned with things that were not riddles, like revenge and power. But this...I want to see David Tennant as a highly intelligent, riddle obbsessed psociopath.
And a starring role in something like this just might make it easier to find the non-Doctor Who works of David Tennant in the US. I want a region one DVD release of Blackpool!
