Why not make a list of your ten favourite Who stories, one from each Doctor!! (With comment)
I've attempted a go but found it too hard...

These may alter:

First Doctor: Dalek Invasion of Earth A great big scary epic. Part 1's cliffhanger: Astounding!! William Hartnell is totally in power as the Doctor, and his farewell speech to Susan is one of the best pieces of dialogue the series has ever had.

Second Doctor: Tomb of the Cybermen Not perfect, but it builds up tension marvellously, and Troughton is on top form!

Third Doctor: Spearhead From Space Talk about a debut! The Autons: what amazing monsters! Maybe not as deep as later Pertwee stories, it's fast, fun and exciting. What more do you need?

Fourth Doctor: Genesis of the Daleks A huge, terrifying epic. Michael Wisher steals the show as the scariest Davros of all, and Peter Miles is as creepy as ever as Nyder, his best Doctor Who role. Bloody perfect.

Fifth Doctor: Kinda Weird, colourful and clever. A brilliant story for Tegan!

Sixth Doctor: Revelation of the Daleks Fantastic direction, morbid script, dark humour, and Davros in his best story since Genesis. Why ever people still dislike Colin Baker's era with stories like this is beyond me!

Seventh Doctor: The Curse of Fenric Great villian, great performances, great dialogue. A perfect example of how good Who was right up until the (first) end.

Eighth Doctor: Due to the fact he only had one TV story, and that I haven't heard enough of his audio adventures, I'll give this one a miss. The Movie is good fun, and McGann is an excellent Doctor, but the episode doesn't come close to matching the others. Eric Roberts really is a bad Master though.

Ninth Doctor: Dalek A dark exploration into the Ninth Doctor by pitting him against a Dalek. The moment he picks up a weapon to kill the Dalek is gripping stuff. Rob Shearman needs to write another Who episode!

Tenth Doctor: Human Nature/Family Of Blood A gripping foray into the Doctor's life, by changing him into a human. Freema Agyeman gets a chance to sink her teeth into a wonderful script, and the Family of Blood are terrifying. Beautiful.

Well, since I haven't seen enough of Old!Who to really give a propper opinion, I'll give my top episodes for New!Who.

9th Doctor: I'll probably have to go with The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances for 9. Very scary episode, with an awesome, feel-good ending.

10th Doctor: This is a toughy, since he's had a lot of really good episodes. I'll have to say that it's either Girl in the Fireplace, Blink, Midnight, or Turn Left From those... I guess the one that had me most on the edge of my seat was Midnight. It really was a brilliant piece of writing.

Oh, come on. Kinda? Really? Snakedance was better. My favorite Fifth Doctor stories are Earthshock and Enlightenment.

I picked Dalek out of the ones you chose.

OK, here's mine...

First Doctor: The Daleks. Birth of an evil legend.

Second Doctor: The Mind Robber. Not much competition here because it's the only one I've seen...

Third Doctor: The Time Warrior. Introducing on the side of evil, the Sontarans, and on the side of good, Sarah Jane Smith.

Fourth Doctor: Ooooh, a toughie, erm *thinks* I'm going to cheat and have two here. It's between Pyramids of Mars (I love Ancient Egyptian mythology) and The Talons of Weng-Chiang (gave me nightmares and a lasting phobia of human looking puppets).

Fifth Doctor: The Caves of Androzani. Brilliant story, and one that, to this day, I can quote endlessly. Also signalled the end of the Davison era.

Sixth Doctor: The Trial of a Time Lord. As with Troughton, not much competition.

Seventh Doctor: Remembrance of the Daleks. First story I ever saw, even if Davros did nearly get me banned from watching the series again after I had screaming nightmares for a week!

Eighth Doctor: The Chimes Of Midnight. It's a radio play about when the Doctor and Charley arrive on Christmas Eve in a house that's trapped in a time loop. Well worth hearing, if you haven't already.

Ninth Doctor: The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances. Creep factor 2billion and the introduction of everyone's favourite Time Agent turned Torchwood boss, Captain Jack Harkness!

Tenth Doctor: Oooh, another toughie... From Series Two, it has to be The Girl In The Fireplace. I love that period of history, I would kill to wear the sort of outfits that Reinette wears, and I'm a hopeless romantic! From Series Three, I keep on going back to Utopia/The Sound Of Drums/Last of the Time Lords. Reintroducing Jack and the Master is always a good thing (well, not so much the Master, but you know what I mean!). And from Series Four (bearing in mind Journey's End isn't on till tomorrow), it'd probably be Midnight. The strongest performance David Tennant has done, and that takes some doing! If you've not seen it yet, oh, man, are you in for a treat!!!

I haven't seen all the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Doctors' stories yet and don't listen to audios much (8th), so I'm waiting on that. This tends to vary...

Third Doctor: The Time Monster or Spearhead from Space. TTM because it has some of my favorite moments from his era and is one of my favorite Master stories. SfS because it was a great introduction, was funny, and let Mr. Pertwee do fun things with his face.

Fifth Doctor: Kinda and Enlightenment. Kinda because it's fun and, I agree, was a really good one for Tegan. I like the premise of the story and the way it goes on. Enlightenment because of the tension that exists in the story and how we find out more as it progresses. Plus, I thought Turlough was good.

Sixth Doctor: Vengeance on Varos. Wow, wow, and wow. The premise is intriguing, Sil is delightfully horrid, and the Doctor seems satisfied with the acid bath incident. The cell mutator incident was odd. I only watched it once, but I still can't forget it. Ow.

Seventh Doctor: This is hard. The Happiness Patrol and Survivor. THP because, again, the premise is great. Also, the characters fit it so perfectly and it's just got that wonderful irony in it. All over. Survivor because it's just plain fun *is an ailurophile*. Another good Master story.

Ninth Doctor: Dalek. The Daleks have always been the evil ones and the Doctor has always been the good one - the villains and the hero. They're more alike than we think, just like different fighting people. It's so human.

Tenth Doctor: The Shakespeare Code and The Sound of Drums. TSC: Nice! Nice way to play with literary history. The "Dark Lady" becomes Martha; Love's Labour's Won, which may be either another name for a play we know or a lost play, is addressed; there are other references to his works, like Macbeth. Wow. I love it! TSoD: I liked that finale. The Master returned!...for a moment. It was fun. Crazy Master goes for world conquest using a total paradox. Of the three, this is my favorite episode because this is the one where he lays out his cards and takes action, which is fun.

I did that because it technically makes 10. I cheated a lot.

The only Doctor I can't judge a is the 2nd because I haven
1. The Daleks a bit slow paced, but a brilliant storyline none the less!
3. The Three Doctors if it counts seeing as they are three Doctors! But Jon and Pat make a marvelous duo the dandy and the clown! If you don't count it than I'll go with The Time Warrior, the best Sontaran story ever closely followed by The Poison Sky, which to me is the only story to get the whole Sontaran empire concept right
4. Genesis of the Daleks fantastic story wonderful performance by Wisher, and a wonderful introduction to the classic series for me!
5. Resurrection of the Daleks closely followed by Caves of Androzani and The Five Doctors, I choose this one only because I love the Daleks, it was a brilliant story, and I feel it's always upstaged by stories such as Genesis and Remembrance.
6. Revelation of the Daleks Another fantastic story by Saward that makes up for all the horrible 6th Doctor stories, not saying all of them are horrible! And it like Resurrection are such under appreciated stories!
7. Remembrance of the Daleks This story sparked the McCoy era into awesome-ness and a wonderful conclusion to the Dalek Civil War Trilogy!
8. The Movie By default, I hated the Master and the story here and which caused me to hate McGann for months until I heard a little from the audios, but I haven't heard a full audio so until then The Movie by default
9. Dalek Eccleston should've had a longer run as the Doctor, especially if he would've had more performances such as this one and in the finale! He was such a good Doctor and he definitely should've been on the show longer!
10. The Stolen Earth I'm probably going to change this to Journey's End, but until it airs, it had DT's at his best, a new Dalek Empire, insane Dalek Caan, who is now my idol, and DAVROS! Julian Bleach took all the best qualities from Wisher, Gooderson, and Molloy, and rolled them into one! I also loved Doomsday and The Girl in the Fireplace!

1. The Daleks haven't seen many 60's episodes, I'm afraid to admit, but this one I remember being good.
2. The War Games because it's amazingly epic, and we finally see the Time Lords and what.
3. Inferno Love the parallel Earth setting.
4. The Talons of Weng-Chiang Because it's a cracking story, simple as that.
5. The Caves of Androzani This is a popular story, and deservedly so. Sharaz Jak is one of the greatest Doctor Who villains of all time, in my opinion.
6. Revelation of the Daleks Dark, morbid, witty, and just so lovably weird.
7. Ghost Light An absolute classic, very watchable.
8. The Movie for obvious reasons...
9. Father's Day A very sad and touching episode. I must admit I did shed a tear or two towards the end.
10. The Girl in the Fireplace An amazing love story with an intriguing premise, great, scary monsters, cracking dialogue and again, a sad ending (which is a good thing, in my books).

Seconding what Travis said about Sharaz Jek. He and the moving angels are my favorite one-off villains who I desperately hope no-one will ever try to bring back.

haven't seen any of one or two, and not much of six, but here's my favorites so far!

3: I can't remember the title, but it had Jo and the Master and....GAH! I can't remember!

4: City of Death. Great writing, great lines. Romana is awesome, nuff said.

5: Kinda. I haven't seen snakedance, but I like this episode tons. I loved the creepy color-tinged world that Tegan goes into and the acting was amazing all around. I love this episode!

7: I've only seen the happieness patrol and dragonfire, so of those, I say

8: The Flood. Not an actual episode. It's a comic, but it has some awesomely redesigned Cybermen, a great companion, and a Doctor who I love, now that I've read his comics.

9: The Empty Child/ The Doctor Dances. Great Plot, Great Script, Great acting, awesome feel. I love this one all around.

10: hard to decide...I think probably Blink...but I don't know for sure...

I count the comics I've read as canon, so yeah...Eight=The Flood.

I loved Dalek Invasion of Earth, Susan is so great. I did like Tomb of the Cybermen as well, but I think Hand of Fear wins for 4th Doctor.

First: I haven't seen any of the serials, and I've only read one of the Target books, and that was The Dalek Invasion of Earth, and I thought it was quite good.

Second: I haven't seen any of the serials for him, either, I've only read one of the books, which was The Abominable Snowman, but I thought it was rubbish.

Third: Once again, I haven't seen any eps, but I've read a few books with the Third. I loved Invasion of the Dino's, though, thought it was a brilliant book.

Fourth: Also, I haven't seen any of the serials, but I have read a few of the books. The one I loved was Revenge of the Cybermen.

Five: I have seen one of his, Castrovalva, and I can't really say I liked it, but I haven't read any of his books, so, I dunno.

Six: Haven't read or seen anything with him.

Seven: Haven't read or seen anything with him.

Eight: Haven't read or seen anything with him.

Nine: Nine's the first Doctor I watched, and I liked Dalek. Very good ep.

Ten: Now, this is the Doctor I think is sexy (I am straight, btw). I loved Army of Ghosts, I thought it was a mad episode. Bear in mind, I haven't even seen the ep Midnight yet, I live in Aust. sad

Well, unless they work out a way to resurrect him after he died in the android Salateen's arms, he can't come back!
