Crystalize fwished his tail back and forth, anxious for Iniex to show up.
It had been a little over a week since their meeting by the fire, and when that had adjourned, they had agreed to meet by this tree, near where she lived, so they could hunt for the rainbow fish.
Crys paced back and forth, excited to be almost on his way, almost alone with Ini for the first time.

 Iniex could smell Crys before she saw him. She decided to sneak up on him. She got low to the ground and stalked up on him. Soon she was close enough to him that she could pounce. "Hi, CRYS!!!!" she dove out from behind the tree and landed on him. She sat victoriously on him with a wide grin.
She was very excited about this day. She had done nothing but think about it since she had last seen him. He had been in her dreams and her thoughts every moment of every day.

Crys let out an un-dignified "Ooof!" As he was tackled and sat upon.
"Hi to you too," He said, laughing. It was amazing to see her. She looked even more beautiful in daylight, and he hadn't thought that was possible. "I...I missed you," Crystalize said after a minute, looking up at her. "That night was really fun, wasn't it?"
Crys squirmed underneath her until he could roll over, pinning her beneath him. "Gotcha," He said, grinning down at her. "And you thought you were the sneaky one."

She squeaked as he pinned her. "I missed you too. That night was one of the best I have had in a long time." she gave a mock growl and patted at him. She had missed him more then he would ever know. She was more then happy to be right where she was. She loved his company he was like her greatest joy.
Her eyes glinted with mischief as she answered him. "Actually I know I am the sneaky one." she gave him a coy smile and then nuzzled him under the chin. Throwing him off just enough to get out from under him. She sat down her back to him, she had wanted to do that even though she could have gotten him off in many other ways.

Crys was so surprised he let her wriggle out from underneath him, squeaking when he hit the ground.
"...I concede the sneaky one title. For now," He walked over to her, his face dead serious, then he licked her cheek. "Betcha can't get me," He grinned, and dashed a few yards away, wagging his tail. "Nananananana," He stuck his tongue out at her. "Betcha can't get meeeee,"

Iniex smirked and crouched down starting forward slowly. "I will catch you and when I do you will wish I never had." she smirked and bounded off after him. Her body stretched low across the ground. She was at him in a second before they started zipping around.
Her heart was fluttering in her chest. She wanted to run she needed to run to release all the energy she had pent up after seeing him. She was happy and she wanted the world to know it.

Crys laughed as she chased him, dashing away from her at the last second. His laugh was loud and joyful; he hadn't laughed like this in a long time.
"Now I'm going to get YOU!" He quickly turned around and tackled her, pinning her again. His face was close to hers, so he licked her nose. "Gotcha," he said quietly, rolling off her onto his back. They were staring at the sky, which had big, poofy, white clouds dotting it. "That one looks like a bunny!" Crys said, pointing with a paw to a cloud above them "See it's ears?" He chuckled. This is what he loved to do, he knew now.

Iniex laughed with joy as she was tackled and rolled onto her back to look at the clouds beside him. "Ohh I do see it. Hey that one looks like a fish. Which reminds me why you are here." she rolled over onto her feet. "Come on we are going to the river." She started off slowly going a little ways and looking over her shoulder waiting on him. "Come on silly lets go find that fish."
She was completely happy this was what she wanted to do. She wanted to spend her time with him. She wanted to know that he would always be there by her side never leaving her for someone else.

Crys laughed and rolled to his feet. "Lead the way, Rainbow Fishie Finder 1!" He said, wrapping his tail around her's as he walked. He blushed, knowing the pink would show up against his snow white fur. "So...I really did miss you," He said quietly, looking back at her. She was so pretty, he almost couldn't stand it.

Iniex scooted closer till their shoulders were almost touching as they walked. "Your blushing again, your so cute when you blush. I really missed you too. You were always in my thoughts." saying this aloud caused her to blush a deep shade of crimson.
She was leading the way deeper into the forest. They walked through the trees almost gliding. Soon the sound of rushing water could be heard. However Iniex did not stop she kept going. "It was in a little rocky pool near the end. Not much longer now." she gave a smile and continued to walk. Soon they emerged through the trees into a clearing where a pool of water stood. Rocks blocked the water from running out quickly. The water rushed into the pool by the end they were standing at and then calmed to lap gently at the shores while at the other end it fell freely over around and between the rocks that blocked its path. It was truly a beautiful place and one of Iniex's favorites. She looked over at Crys. "This is the place what do you think? I love it here."

"Wow..."Crys breathed, looking around him. It was truly beautiful "It's amazing," Crystalize murmured. "Let's look for the fishie!" He said in an excited whisper. "We can't be too loud or we'll scare 'em away,"

Iniex nodded and stepped away from him. She got down on her belly and scooted across to the water. She scanned the edges and did not find anything. Then the out of the corner of her eye a flash of rainbow caught her eyes. There he was the biggest rainbow colored fish ever. She turned and motioned for Crys to come closer. The fish was close to the center of the pool of water. It was one of the most beautiful things she had ever seen. "Look in the center of the pool." she whispered.

Crys copied her way of movement and followed her, staring down into the pool.
"Woah..." He murmured, his gaze transfixed. "It's so big..." He crept a little closer, his nose an inch away from the water line. The fish swam closer to the shore, obviously not seeing Crys.
"Just a little closer..." Crys muttered. When the fish was close enough, he swiped his paw into the water and scooped the fish onto the shore.
"We're going to put it back, but look!" Crys crowed, impressed with himself. "I caught it!"

Iniex jumped "Ohh wow you caught him." she got close to the fish her nose twiching. "He is so pretty I wish I could take him home." she gave Crys a smile. "We should probably put him back now." she looked over at Crys before she used her paw to flip the fish back into the water.
The fish jumped out of the water over the rocks and into the river on the other side of the pool.
Iniex smiled "Come on lets follow him and see where he lives." before Crys could answer Iniex dashed down the river bank after the fish. The fish swam this way and that taking some side streams and then more side streams leading Iniex deep into the forest.
She ran till her lungs were on fire and she could no longer see the fish. She looked around her and did not recognize anything. She was deep in the woods and she had never been this far in them. "Crys?" she called she was not sure if he had been able to keep up and she could not see him. "Crys?!" panic started to slip into her voice.

Crys dashed after Ini as fast as he could, but she was out of sight too quickly.
Instead of panicking, like he wanted to, he put his nose to the ground and followed her scent.
"I'm coming, Ini..." He said quietly.
Soon, her scent stopped. This struck fear into poor Crys's heart. "Iniex! Where are you?" He shouted, putting his nose to the ground. A minute later, he had her scent again, running now to try to find her.
"Ini!" He said, finally seeing her. "Oh, there you are. Don't ever do that again," He said, running up to her and nuzzling her. He didn't think it had been possible to be so scared for someone. "I thought I'd lost you,"
