I'm mad and don't know why...not much of a problem for most people but it's been a real problem for me for the past couple of days. It's like my subconscious has bombarded me with legit reasons to hate, despise and be mad at just about everything, I haven't been able to cheer myself up for a while now
anyone ever feel like this and after bloodying up your knuckles (and head) against some bricks the feeling doesn't go away?

I usually find reasons not to be angry with the little things, then move onto bigger things slowly. But I don't really get like that for days at a time, sorry...

I have been trying to be upbeat but it seems like I revert as soon as I find something that touches a sensitive issue in my life

I have had times like that before ... but usually I write something or read a bit of one of my favorite books ... typeing out my frustrations doesn't always help ... it normally needs to be hand done

It happens to me all the time....but try not to bloody up anything. some scars don't go away. the best thing you could do is to try and keep yourself busy.

Whenever that happens to me, it's usually because of one issue I'm trying not to think about that really makes me mad. For instance: I was really angry at a guy and a really close friend of mine for a long time. I had a crush on the guy for like 3 years, and when he finally realized it, he led me on for four or five months. Then my really close friend starts hanging out with him and they kind of "get together" (though they're not dating). I felt that he was leading her on after doing it to me, and that she was being backhanded going after a guy she knew for a full year I really liked.
I think it was legitimate to be angry, but I wouldn't let myself actually acknowledge that I was mad. I buried it and then everything started making me mad, whether it should have or not. I couldn't actually face life properly until I confronted the two that hurt me, and then confronted myself and got it all out of my system. And by confrontation, I mean a discussion explaining why I was upset and what we could do about it. For me, I simply realized that I had done everything in my power to make the situation better, and I couldn't do anymore. Once I just let go of it, everything just got better because I could look at life normally again.
If you leave problems unsettled, they start to take hold of the rest of your life and mess everything up. I suggest you really examine your relationships and your goals and see if any are the source of your anger. In the meantime, volunteering is an excellent way to use your energy, rather than bloodying up your hands and head.
