[Filthy Pervert]

A game familiar with many, but possibly new to some. Basically, somebody writes a short poem, then at the end of it they leave a topic for the next one. The next poster writes a short poem about whatever the first person said at the end of their post, then gets to make a new topic for somebody else. It's great for writers block, or just something to do. I'll start it off:

Reconciliation;

The reconciliation
of your own creation
Where your soul bends
they make amends
so that it doesn't break.

The Love
gentle as a dove
intertwines two beings
with wedding rings

The confusion consumes,
Conflicting thoughts at high volumes
Disarray and panic,
Suddenly everyone's words seem cryptic
Nothing is recognized.

When purity ran through us all
we were free of fear and fall
but alas it ran away
hiding for another day
and as humaneness takes its leave
the pure are left to wait and grieve.

Shallow would describe its personality
its heart had a lock but no key
it hurted everything
till agony would sing
the attempts hurt more
till everyone was rotten to the core

Happiness~

Happiness is what makes you smile.
A friendly smile, a hug, a kiss.
It's that feeling of joy, the strange odd tingly feeling..
That no one can take away all away.
Unless they make you break it away..
Like a gentle butterfly, dying away.

I was flying high above
free and happy like a dove
until my world came crashing down
hurt consumed me, made me drown
And then you packed your things and went
and I was there left broken and bent
and all that remains of my laughter and joy
is a photo of us, looking happy and coy.

What a pretty flower,
So colorful on the ground
Step closer, breathe deeply,
Discreetly glance around.

Will anyone notice,
If I claim it for myself?
I'll lay it in a vase
Nicely placed on a shelf

But then it wilts,
That's when it's toss it out
I no longer remember
The point of pulling it out.

Relief

Falling behind with one step at a time,
Am I not bound to the figments the images the lies?
Tis' this essence is small, to small for my sight,
but with closed eyes the darkness subsides,
make believe...close your eyes from the grief,
With a sigh of utter meaningless relief.

I was in bliss,
until you came along.
Cupids bow just couldn't miss
with that arrow and that song..
I was an ignorant child, happy
until that fateful day
You made me laugh and feel sappy
but that feeling couldn't stay
I was in blissful ignorance
until you went away.

Blame the weather
blame the time
blame his death upon the shrine
blame your Jesus
blame the sun
blame the government for having fun

Well, if we're all blaming each-other for things
But buying cars and stupid rings
then I blame our society's fall...
on blame.

Grazing my hand past its milky surface,
My thoughts carlessly ponder in need for a purpose,
With eyes of coal and horns that coil,
How could such words make a warm heart spoil,

On my dream cloud where I stay a float,
I sit an awe, idiling with the goat.

What is that bird that calls at twilight?
then disappears without a sound?
The most beautiful voice I've ever heard
evaporating to the ground

What is that bird that calls at twilight?
when the sun kisses the ground?
and orange fills the sky, splendor
Her sound it echoes all around

What is that bird that calls at twilight?
Does she see the glorious glow?
As darkness scares the bird away
I suppose we'll never know.
