Everyone’s played the Pokemon game at some point or another, or you probably know the concept of having six Pokemon with you at a time. And I’m sure you’ve all imagined what the perfect Pokemon team would be if you could only get all those Pokemon! Well, this is where you tell us what’s YOUR Pokemon “Dream Team.” You can use ANY of the existing Pokemon, and even have a team of all the same Pokemon if that’s what you like! But this team isn’t limited to battle only - you can have a team of the prettiest Pokemon if that’s your dream. Just tell us which six Pokemon you’d choose and why or how it fits into your idea of the Perfect Pokemon team.

Rules
1. Only one submission per person.
2. You can only have six Pokemon on your team.

Restrictions
1. You are only allowed to receive a total of ONE Fafner from all the Contests.
2. If you win more than one Contest, you can choose which Pokemon you want.
3. You can give the Fafner you win to someone else, but ONLY to someone who participated in the same Contest that you won the Fafner from.

Pokemon Team
1. Espeon
2. Suicune
3. Ponyta
4. Mudkip
5. Giratina
6. Shaymin

Explanation: Espeon and Suicune, to my beliefs, are two of the coolest Pokemon ever.
Before my father died (whoa, sob story alert!) my brother had a huge collection of Pokemon cards. He had only 1 double card, a Ponyta, which I absolutely loved at the time because I adore horses and fire. XD So, he ended up giving me the second one. I still have it even though it's been 7 years. <3
SO I HERD U LIEK MUKIPZ? That's all I have to say about that. XD
For some reason I'm really attracted to Giratina because he was one of my first legendaries, and when I usually just ran from those stupid battles because I didn't want to risk my Pokemon, I'd whip out my Giratina and hit the unsuspecting Pokemon with a 'Fly' attack and win. XD
Gah! Shaymin = love, but I find it impossible ot get one. x.x I find it utterly adorable, and I dream of having one. <3

Pokemon Team
1. Quilava
2. Altaria
3. Dewgong
4. Misdearvus
5. Glameow
6. Raichu

Explanation:

Most of these Pokémon have good attacks and such. This team would be meant for contests, something that if real Pokemon existed I would do.
Most of these Pokémon I've actually made up appeals.

Quilava would have been attained as my starter Pokemon (Cindaquil), because of it's first evolved form (Quilava). It could make interesting fiery attacks, along with many normal ones.

Altaria is one of my favorite Pokemon, The only major problem would be Ice Pokémon for a 4x weakness but that could be covered by Quilava a fire type.
Make for interesting appeals with Dragon/Flying moves

Dewgong, since contests existed, have always ran though my head. It has good water and ice attacks which would make for good appeals, pretty sparking ice, I mean, I love it.

Misdrevus, even if I didn't enter contests with Pokemon, I would still have them. without them I wouldn't have passed two gyms which would otherwise be unbeatable to me.
Also ghost type moves amuse me, the mysteriousness of them.

Grumpig would be cool, because psychic Pokémon usually are. psychic Pokémon usually make for a good show too.

Raichu, along with Dewgong always ran through my head about contest, electricity attacks used in certain ways could bring out something very beautiful.

I didn't use any legendaries because even if you pulled one out, yeah the crowd would be amazed but most of them have attacks that you could find in normal pokemon that give the same affect. Also, I belive if the world of Pokemon actually was Earth then the legendaries should not to be captured.

HI! this looks like a cool event XD

Pokemon Team
1. riolu
2. marshtomp
3. pidgeot
4. espeon
5. mightyena
6. cyndaquil

Explanation: i don't know why, but this is the pokemon team i can imagine myself having if i went on a pokemon journey (which would be awesome, btw) and i'd love them all soooo much XD and i could totally win the league with them cause i'd be all about battle strategy and not sheer power.
pretty much these are my favorite pokemon. especially riolu, cause it's just insanely cool, and cyndaquil, cause it was my first ever pokemon when i got my first pokemon game for 7 bucks. (pokemon gold, when i was like 8 ) sweatdrop
the marshtomp would be my starter (as a mudkip), and i'd need a flying pokemon some way or another or i couldn't get around, so i'd have pidgeot. espeon are so cool, and psychic, and somehow i can just imagine myself having a mightyena. it's my most powerful at the moment in my emerald game.
i like the legendaries, but i wanted to make this the team i could imagine myself having, and in real life (if pokemon really existed lol) i don't think you'd actually catch a legendary for any reason.

1.Skitty
2.Delacatty
3.Meowth

6.Purugly

Pokemon Team
1. Swampert
2. Kingdra
3. Milotic
4. Lanturn
5. Gyrados
6. Empoleon

Explanation: Ok, at another Pokemon event, someone (not saying who) said that you couldn't make a balanced water team. I was probably a little offended by that remark, seeing that Pokemon is about being creative enough to bend the rules. So... I created a balanced water team. Even when facing Grass and Electric pokemon, they won't be breezing through these Pokemon that easily, seeing how most of them are resistant to at least one of those types.

And they're all moderately attractive, with maybe the exception of Swampert. It's the ideal water team, without using ubers. ^_^

Pokemon Team
1. shiny flygon
2. shiny ninetales
3. shiny latias
4. walrien
5. jerachi
6. shiny shedninja

Explanation:

Shiny Flygon is a pretty powerhouse, but a killer on the patience to train. Best of all. It's flying/ground type. Thunder attacks don't affect it as much, and if you chuck a rock attack at it the ground side will cancel it out a bit. Only water and ice would hurt Flygon badly.

Ninetales because the end of the tail in certain sprites looks blue and i LOVE silver/blue together. Ninetales with the proper training and teamwork also does well with Walrien and Latias in the battle tower, for me anyways.

shiny Latias is gold . Another pretty powerhouse. Expecially ( in my opinion) with the moveset Thunder, Dragon claw, Psychic and Ice beam

Walrien, put in the battletower, is awesome.

Jirachi is a steel/psychic. Normally flying and bug do MAJOR damage to psychics but bug damage is halved and flying damage does 50% what it normally does!

Last, but not least. ( so cliched) Shiny Shedninja. firstly.
it's gold. Secondly, it Has. A. HALO! i LOVE halos. Thirdly. Who WOULDN'T want a pokemon who isn't damaged by any attack except for what it's weak to?

Pokemon Team
1. Nidoking
2. Nidoqueen
3. Jolteon
4. Blastoise
5. Sandslash
6. Butterfree

Explanation: I have found this to be the best and most cohesive team in all of the games. The Nidoking and Blastoise are a hugely powerfull tag team because of Nidokings higher special abilities and Blastoise physical abilities. Also almost all of these pokemon can learn moves that go against their weaknesses. Sandslash learns areal ace, which is a flying move, Blastoise learns earthquake, and of course Nidoking and Queen can learn all the most powerfull attacks (I.e Fire blast, Hydro pump, Slarbeam...) and so make great ckisers or openers for the battle.

Also these are mostly made of pokemon that I think would make a great team together if they were real and could interact. None of the types are too far apart so that they would naturally hate each other and because there is an equivelancy to large and small everyone is comfortable with each other ^^

Pokemon Team
1. Empoleon
2. Raquaza
3. Kyogre
4. Latias
5. Suicune
6. Salamence

Explanation: Well, this is my dream team. It has been ever since I started Diamond. All the Pokemon in my team are my favorites mostly because they're gorgeous and strong. I almost have this team too. All I'm missing is Suicune. <3

Pokemon Team
1. Wailord (Micro)
2. Hippowdon
3. Skarmory
4. Marowak
5. Ninetales
6. Claydol

Explanation: Well, I always liked to use this as my sandstorm team in pokemon battles. Wailord...IT IS AWESOME WITH IT'S HUGE BLUBBRY FATNESS. You CANNOT DENY THIS D<
I also named it Micro to tease one of my friends xD
Wailords aren't too popular to use in competitive battling, but it can do massive damage with the upped speed provided by the choice scarf. The speed gives it time to blow damage by using Same-type-attack-boosted high special attack WATER SPOUT. It's a nice surprise.

If I find a situation my Wailord can't handle well, such as going against a jolteon, I would switch to my Hippowdon. It can guard well against the electric moves that people always seem to throw at poor Micro.

Hippowdon also starts a sandstorm which ups his special defense, allowing him to survive about any hit. Hippowdon usually holds some leftovers too, he needs his health. Since hippowdon is so durable, it has a very high chance of being able to stealthrock the opponent sucessfully and not get KOed by the first hit when I'm switching it in. He also knows earthquake and stone edge, letting him deal with a good variety of pokemon and giving him the same-type-attack-bonus because he's both a rock and ground type.

Then, after my stealthrock has been layed, I usually send out SKARMORY. Skarmory's stats aren't the best, but it has a healing move and it can survive attacks okay-ish if trained well. It can also repeatedly whirlwind your opponents so the stealth rock damage kills them slowly but steadily.

Then, Claydol, Marowak, and Ninetales work together. Claydol uses trickroom to help Marowak's slowspeed. Claydol will self destruct, most likely killing my opponent and giving Marowak a free turn to switch in without taking damage. Then Marowak is switched in with his thick club (which doubles his attack power and makes it super high). My marowak's speed is as slow as possible, so it works very well in a trickroom environment where it's speed won't hinder it as a sweeper. With it's massive attack, it can beat the living daylights out of most pokemon.

Or, if I want to bring up my ninetales, I make claydol do a sunny day attack before exploding on its opponent. Of course, the two turn delay makes it very hard for my claydol to survive, but we usually find a way. Usually by hypnosis. After that, I send out Nine who's speed usually beats the opponent's speed. Sometimes if I'm lucky, the hypnosis will still be in effect which will allow me some time to do a nasty plot attack to raise ninetale's speed. Then ninetales will totally obliterate everything with flamethrower that is boosted by STAB, Sunny Day, and Nasty Plot 8D
Or if it's a water type, WE BURN THEM WITH WILL-O-WHISP >D

...the end 8D

Pokemon Team
1. Noctowl
2. Vaporeon
3. Flameon
4. Jolteon
5. Espeon
6. Umbreon

Explanation: First off, I've never played passed the silver and gold versions, although I was tempted. I never had time to finish...so most of my favorites are the older, more well known.

I've always had a passon for Eevee. I remember playing countless hours just to get to the point where you could get your first Eevee. That point where it would be your first and last time you could ever get one. And then once there, I'd transfer the Eevee over to another better made account, then start that game all over and make it my goal in life to get to that same point all over again, just so I could have my collection of Eevees on a different game console, haha. I never did get them all because it took too long, but I loved the Eevees I did have. I'm not as familiar with what Espeon and Umbreon do, but I would still have them just the same because they're part of the Eevee family. I also favored Eevee because it covers most of the more common type groups. Fire, water, electricity...and I think the other two are light and dark? I can't remember. I'd add Leafeon and glaceon to the list...but there's only room for 6 xd

Noctowl is in that list because of fly purposes and flying attacks on ground and rock pokemon. I hate having to walk everywhere. Flying is so much easier, so I always have a flying pokemon on me at all times. Noctowl is one of my favorite flying pokemon out of all of the flying pokemon too. It's one of the first ones you can capture when you start a new game in the Silver or Gold versions, and it just grew on me. Pidgey officially became a pokemon of the past xd

Out of them all...Vaporeon is my absolute favorite, favorite, favorite. If I could choose only one pokemon, it'd be Vaporeon 3nodding But I get to pick 6, so there they are xd

Pokemon Team
1. Raticate
2. Ninetales
3. Cloyster
4. Gengar
5. Dragonite
6. Lanturn

Explanation:

1- With this pokemon's high attack and speed, Hyper Fang is teh shiz.
2- What can I say? It's a pokemonified kitsune. I love kitsunes. Better yet, it's a fire-type one. And who doesn't have fun playing with fire?
3- Though I never caught one for myself, It seems like a great addition to the team with its super high defense, yet pwerful attack. Plus, it looks awsome. whee
4- Because ghosts are all around awsome. I need say no more. :]
5- Although Dragonair is a bit prettier, Dragonite's considerably stronger and cute in its own way. Plus, it's a dragon and can fly, which is an absolute necessity.
6- It's quite balanced, being both water and electric. Plus, it has a nice high amount of HP. Also, since it's water, it can learn surf!

Pokemon Team
1. Corsola
2. Ghastly
3. Garydos
4. Articuno
5. Umbreon
6. Snorlax

Explanation: I'm an old school Pokemon Trainer. Never beat Silver; the Game Boy died before I could. My best team, therefore, is limited to the first 250 or so Pokemon, but I think it would still rock out any new Pokemon that I might discover in my journeys.

I CHOOSE YOU!

1. Corsola
Corsola is by far the best Pokemon I have seen to date. She has such a wicked defense that it's nearly impossible to knock her out, and she has water and rock properties. Hydropump, whirlpool, waterfall, they all go with Corsola. Plus, she has an ability that regains HP too. With her in my ranks, I'd never be defeated!
2. Ghastly
No team is complete without a Pokemon that can put wild Pokemon to sleep. Ghastly can freeze Pokemon so they can't escape, then put them under for an easy capture! Plus he's cute and floats about. A perfect night light!
3. Garydos
What Corsola can't do, Garydos can! I love helping Magikarp grow into crazy huge dragons. Garydos is great for transport on waterways, and has very strong attacks.
4. Articuno
Every team needs a bird-type Pokemon to fly from town to town. Articuno was a hard one to capture, but he's very friendly and has very strong attacks. Its weakness to fire types is a disadvantage, but that's when I'd sub Corsola in.
5. Umbreon
This Pokemon is just smexy. Training at night to bring an Evee up is easy with a Ghastly to light the night. His dark attacks are a force to be reckoned with, and I would teach him swift, as well. Uber fast dark ninja Pokemon, FTW.
6. Snorlax
He can rest to heal, and can fight well, when he's not cuddled up for a good nap. But when you're on the road to become the greatest trainer, nothing is better than a cuddle with a giant fluffy Pokemon after a long day's work.
