These are the matches that are currently able to wrestle under. But, ask your GM before making a big match. ex: Hell in a Cell.

If there isn't a match on this list PM ProtoWolf 2.0 with the match type information.

Ambulance/Hearse Match- The rules are simple, as there is only one -- the winner is the first Superstar to place his opponent into a ringside ambulance/hearse and close the door. Everything else is legal. As a result of this, Ambulance Matches often find themselves flowing outside of the ring. In addition, the ambulance/hearse is very often used as a weapon and/or launching pad.

Barbed Wire Match- This match has the ropes replaced with barbed wire. Almost inevitably someone gets thrown against it. Win by Pin of Submission

Barbed Wire Steel Cage Match - In this match, the top of the cage is lined with dangerous barbed wire, and escape from the cage is still the only way to win the match.

Battle Royal- In a battle royal, a set number of Superstars (usually 20) all start in the ring at the sametime. When the bell rings, the Superstars go at it and its every man for himself. A Superstar is eliminated from the match once he is thrown over the top rope and both feet touch the floor. The winner of the battle royal is the last man standing.

Blindfold Match- In this match, one or (usually) both Superstars have to wear a blindfold. Other than that, normal rules apply and the winner is decided by pinfall or submission.

Boiler Room/Parking Lot Brawl- The Boiler Room Brawl was used as a way to get such items as ladders and steel pipes into matches(No weapons can be brought into the room, weapons are scattered in closets and shelves). As the name suggests, the Boiler Room Brawl takes place inside an arena boiler room. The winner is usually the first Superstar to escape the room or have his feet on the ground outside the room.

Bra and Panties Match- The winner of the match, is not the first Diva to pin the other. Rather, the winner of this match is the first Diva to strip her opponent down to her bra and panties.

Buried ALIVE Match- The Buried Alive Match can literally change the direction of one's career. The object of this match is to throw your opponent into a six-foot deep grave. Once he is in, the Superstar must then bury his opponent with dirt

Casket Match- The object of this match is to beat your opponent to the point where he can no longer get up. Then put him in a ringside casket and close the casket.

Doomsday Cage Match- This match involves a three-story cage on top of a ring. A team of two wrestlers start from the top story and fight their way to the bottom against a team of eight wrestlers. Victory is attained by pinfall or submission in the ring. This was a creation from WCW.

Double Jeopardy Match- This is two different matches taking place in the same ring at the same time.

Elimination Chamber- Is one of the most unforgiving structures in sports-entertainment history. Two Superstars start the match, while four others are held in chambers inside the structure. After a predetermined amount of time, one Superstar is released from his chamber and let out into the fray. This continues until all six Superstars have entered the action. A Superstar can only be eliminated when he is pinned or submits. The last man standing in this match is declared the winner

Empty Arena Match- A match that consist of 2 wrestlers fighting in an empty arena with no fans.

Evening Gown Match- The object of this contest is to simply strip off your opponent's evening gown from her body (rather than stripping her usual ring attire). If you're looking for some classic chain wrestling, this might not be your cup of tea, but its the top choice for puppy lovers everywhere.

Fatal Four Way/Triple Threat Match- When there's three Superstars involved, a Triple Threat Match is usually called. When there's four Superstars, however, the result is usually a Fatal Four Way Match. In these matches, four Superstars compete in one ring at the same time. It''s every man for himself. Very often, these matches are of an elimination style, with the last man scoring a decision being declared the winner. In other cases, a Fatal Four Way Match ends with the first Superstar to score a decision picking up the win.

Fall Count ANYWHERE- Anything goes in a Falls Count Anywhere Match. Very often, the action spills out to the concession stands, to the bathroom or even outside the arena. When this happens, the referee must follow the action, as a fall can count absolutely anywhere.

Finisher Match- The first wrestler to perform his finishing maneuver wins. The wrestlers select one of their finishers which will earn them the win. All other moves classified as "finishers" will not.

First Blood Match- The object of a First Blood Match is to make your opponent bleed. The first Superstar to spare a drop of blood is declared the loser. All weapons in this match are legal, as there are no disqualifications or count outs.

Flag Match- Each wrestler has a flag that they must retrieve and one that they must defend. They must get their flag from the opponents' corner before the opponents can get their flag. There is also a tag-team variation of this match.

Gauntlet Match- This match pits one initial wrestler against another in a normal rules contest. If said wrestler wins, another opponent takes his place until all set opponents are defeated or the initial wrestler loses. Sometimes this match can be in a series (one different opponent per day until all are defeated). This is called Running the Gauntlet or Slobber Knocker, and was popular in WCW in the early 1990s.

Handicap Match- All the same rules from a traditional match apply to a Handicap Match. The only difference is that one of the sides has more manpower than the other. In most cases, a Handicap Match is a two-on-one affair. However, two-on-three, two-on-four or even one-on-four affairs are not unheard of.

HARDCORE Match- A Hardcore Match is truly that - hardcore! These types of matches are not meant for the weak of heart, as it is not unusual to see Superstars lose massive amounts of blood. There is no shortage of weapons in a Hardcore Match, either. The ring is usually surrounded by metal garbage cans, ladders, kendo sticks, fire extinguishers and so much more for Superstars to use on their opponents. Other than the usual violence, the object is the same - pin the man across the ring from you.

HELL in a CELL- In a Hell in a Cell Match, the ring and its surrounding area are covered by an enormous structure of unforgiving steel, providing for one of the most brutal atmospheres in sports-entertainment history.

"I QUIT!" Match- As the name suggests, the object of this match is to make your opponent utter the words, I quit. This is another match where anything goes, and the action takes place anywhere and everywhere. The referee follows the actions with a microphone in hand in the event that a competitor gives up.

Inferno Match- Huge flames surround the ring, and the only way to win this match is to set your opponnent on fire.

"In Your Face!" Match- The ultimate humiliation match. Two superstars are in the ring, they each get a marker. The first superstar to write In Your Face on his opponent wins. Usually to humiliate, end fueds or to settle bets.

Item on a Pole- In this match, a tall pole is attached the ring post. Atop that poll is an item (nightstick, pink slip, paddle...). The first Superstar to reach that item is declared the winner, and very often gets to use the item - if it's a weapon - on his opponent.

King Of The Mountain Match- Five wrestlers compete in this match for a title belt. This basically is a Ladder Match in reverse with a twist. When one man is pinned or forced to submit, he is sent to a ringside penalty box for 2 minutes, while the wrestler who scored the fall must hang the belt on a hook above the ring. The others try to stop the wrestler from hanging the belt. The first wrestler to successfully hang the belt wins. This is a Total Nonstop Action creation.

Ladder Match- A Ladder Match is usually reserved for, but not limited to, title matches. In a Ladder Match, the championship belt up for grabs is suspended above the ring. The winner is crowned once a Superstar grabs the belt. To get the belt, a Superstar must ascend a ladder quicker than his opponent. While the premise sounds simple, the match becomes much more complicated once the Superstars begin using the ladder as a weapon and/or launching pad.

Last Man Standing- Like many specialty matches, this match that is a true test of endurance as well as one threshold for pain. There are no disqualifications or countouts. The only way to win is to incapacitate your opponent enough so that he cannot answer a 10-count. Once a Superstar is knocked down, the referee begins to count, and if the Superstar cannot get up in 10 seconds, the match is over.

Litteral "In your house match"
Both superstars are in a house sort of place with tv''s couches chimneys, window, and more including tables chairs and maybe a closet that has a ladder. First one to throw there opponent out a window and make a 10 before they can get back in win. Also if a rumble, then it takes place in 1 room. Anybody thrown out of a window or out of the room is automatticly eliminated.

Luchas de Apuestas- Any match where both wrestlers have put something on the line such as a title or mask. They are more popular in Mexico but they do happen from time to time in Japan and the United States. Some variations follow. In any case of a draw, both wrestlers lose what they put up. Hair v. Hair, Mask v. Mask etc.

LumberJack Match- The way to win a Lumberjack Match is the same as in a traditional match - by pinfall or submissions. A countout is almost impossible, however, as the ring is surrounded by other Superstars. Once someone is thrown out of the ring, it is the job of the Superstars around the squared circle to throw him back into the ring. Very often, the surrounding lumberjacks get in a few shots of their own.

Roof Top Match- Two Superstars(Or more) start on a 1 story building with a bunch of weapons laying around the roof, the Superstar to throw the other one of the Roof wins, if they both fall off the roof then it is a Draw...

Royal Rumble- Each Superstar selects a number between 1 and 30. The match starts with the Superstars that picked No. 1 and No. 2. Then every two minutes, a new Superstar enters the fray. A Superstar is eliminated when he is thrown over the top rope. The last man standing is declared the winner.

Scaffold match- A match where there is a bar hanging above the ring, and above that bar is the belt/item. Two superstars start in the ring with various items including ladders to get up to the bar. The first superstar to grab the belt wins.

Scramble Match - Two competitors start the match while the rest of the competitors are introduced in 5 minute intervals. The winner of the match is the last person to score a fall at the end of the time limit. There can be as many falls as possible before the limit, but only the final fall counts.

Six Pack Challenge- A match pitting six singles competitors against one another, with the first pinfall or submission winning the match.

Steel Cage Match- his type of match features an unforgiving steel structure that surrounds the ring. While inside the cage, the Superstars participating in the match usually use the steel as a weapon, throwing their opponents into it. A Steel Cage Match is won by pinfall or submission and/or escaping the cage (rules may vary depending on the individual match).

Strap Match- In a Strap Match, the competitors are connected to each other by a long, leather strap. The strap can be used as a weapon, but to win, a Superstar must touch all four turnbuckles uninterrupted and in succession. This match can also take place using a chain, bull rope, or other similar apparatus.

Stretcher Match- Strap your opponent to a stretcher to win. Some rules state that you must push your opponent a certain distance or into an ambulance or that it's just a weapon and can be won by pinfall or submission.

Table Match- There are no pinfalls, submissions or countouts in a Tables Match. The only way to win such a match is to put your opponent through a table. This brutal match oftentimes results in internal injuries, especially to the ribs.

TLC Match- Tables, Ladders and Chairs Matches (TLC Matches) are some of the most exciting events in sports-entertainment. While the fans enjoy them, however, they can take years off a Superstar''s career. In this type of match, tables, ladders and chairs are all legal. The object of the match, as is the case in a Ladder Match, is to ascend the ladder and capture a belt that hangs from the arena ceiling faster than your opponent.

Texas Death Match- Cross between a Last Man Standing match and a Hardcore Match. When an opponent is pinned he is administered a ten count. If they are able to answer the count, the match continues.

2 out of 3 falls- Very often, competing in a one fall match is enough to exhaust a Superstar. That said, a Two-out-of-three Falls Match is a true test of endurance, as the winner is not declared until a Superstar records two falls. Falls are usually awarded on the basis as a traditional match - pinfall, submission, countout, disqualification.

War Games- This match has two wrestlers in a steel cage for thirty minutes with other wrestlers entering at a timed interval to help out one of the opponents.

Welcome to HELL!- There are four steel cages positioned on top of eachother but each has its own twist. The first cage is the weapons cage and every weapon imaginable is in it to start. The second cage is the inferno cage where the perimeter of the cage is set on fire. The third cage is the lumberjack cage where two random wrestlers attack you until you get to the fourth cage. The fourth cage is sideless and topless and hanging above it is an item or a belt. The wrestlers advance through the holes in the middle of the cages.

WWE Iron Man Match- There is a set time limit, usually 60 minutes, and the Superstar to score the most pinfalls and/or submissions in the allotted time is declared the winner.

Free For All Signature Match Types

These matches, like the King of the Mountain for TNA and the Hell In A Cell for WWE, are Free For All signature matches. While they are included in the above list, I decided to take them down here to get them out of that clutter and a little more spotlight. This doesn't mean that TNA or WWE signature matches will not be used in the FFA Arena's.

Free For All Match
In this Royal Rumble type match, two men start the match while the rest of the competitors enter at regular intervals. To be eliminated in this match you must be pinned, knocked out, or forced to submit. At one point you could only win the FFA Match by Knock Out and all of the competitors started the match at the same time. When the FFA Roster was growing, these rules were amended. Before becoming Twisted Flow, the Free For All Championship was always defended in the FFA Match, which almost guaranteed a new champion.

Anywhere But Here Match
This match, invented by Kelly King 2.0, is a variation of the Steel Cage match. The match is started in a cage, but can only be won by pinning or forcing an opponent to submit outside of the cage. This match is best used by 3 to 4 superstars at one time, creating a somewhat hectic rush if two superstars escape the cage before another.

Watch Your Step Match
In this match, created by Mike Landry, you must literally watch your step, because you can lose in anyway imaginable. Pin, submission, count out, disqualification, first blood, knock out, and being thrown over the top rope with both feet touching the floor are all legal ways to win the match. You are also only given a 2 count to release illegal holds. On the third count, you are disqualified from the match. This match has become a staple in Mike Landry's career. When defending a title in this match, all decisions resolve in the title changing hands or being retained. There is no Champion's Advantage.

Conqueror's Ladder Match
Like King of the Mountain, this match, created by Kelly King 2.0, involves a superstar hanging an object rather than retrieving it. However in this 5 - 6 man match, when you catch a pinfall or submission, instead of taking a p***y time out, that superstar is eliminated from the match, no longer viable to hang the object. This match may also be contested as a normal ladder match where retrieving the title is the goal rather than hanging it above the ring.

Fate Four Way
A Fate Four Way is a Fatal Four Way that occurs in FFA, formerly on the show Friday Night Fate. There is no true difference between a Fatal Four Way and a Fate Four Way, but FFA is well known for 1 vs 1 vs 1 vs 1 contests. Almost always conducted with elimination rules in effect.

Countdown Match
In this match, created by Mike Landry and Kelly King 2.0, the superstars are assigned a number from 10 to 50, or even higher. Everytime someone is pinned, the counts of the pinfall, whether it be 1, 3 or however long that persons shoulders are down, subtract from that superstars number. When a superstar's number reaches zero, he has lost the match. Also known as a hitpoint match. Good strategies for the match involve both quick falls for one counts, or beating you're opponent badly enough to keep him down for higher totals.

Chain Link Hell
This is a singles match that takes place in a pod-less Elimination Chamber structure. In place of pods that used to hold other competitors in place until their entrance, there are platforms atop chain link jungle gyms that require navigation to get up to and use for death defying aerial attacks,

Battle of Respect
In this match, two or more wrestlers fight each other in a battle not for victory, but for respect. It is a no count out, no disqualifications bout, that cannot be won. The wrestlers simply fight for a set amount of time to a draw.

Kingdom Gauntlet Match
In this match, two teams of four or more compete in an elimination match. Only one member of each team participates at a time, with no tagging. When a wrestler defeats another, they face the next opponent on that team until they, themselves, are eliminated. Order of entry is determined before the match begins and is kept secret from the opposing team. The team that eliminates all of the opposing team first is the winner.
