About a month ago I started marching band. I loved it when we practiced and stuff, but about a week after that I started to march to the beat of any song that I heard. Then about a week after that I had a dream about reeds. Weird, I know. Does anyone else out there have any other strange obsesions with band? ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫

I actually had a dream I was in the band room, and we were all practicing... Kinda weird, cause I graduated this year...?

I had a dream we failed at competition. I woke up crying. I also have the 'trip on your shoelaces during football game' dream from time to time (I think most people will at some point in their band career), even though I'm graduated.

I was once gone for a week to Arizona to visit my grandparents, so I had to miss a couple drumline rehersals. I had this dream one night that was there 'in spirit'. Not really though. And it was invaded by people I HATE and all of a sudden one of my friends had a guitar controller from guitar hero and he started playing it during the show like it was a real guitar. It was a weird dream, to say the least.
As for marching to songs, I do it all the time. I'll be walking somewhere with my iPod on, and I'll be worried someone will look at me funny because I change speed all the time.

not only do i march in time to every song; i have to sing one in my head or i feel weird when i walk.
i also end up randomly conducting some of them ...
i once had a dream that we were at a choir chime concert (it was the next day) and my mom said she actually saw me moving my arms like i would playing in the concert.

i can walk down the halls and be listening to any music and i fall in to step with it....
all of my marching band friends walking step together...and its sad cause we dont realise we do that...
then i have nightmares about DR BEAT!!! i hear it sometimes in my sleep and i cant stand it!!!!

Lol...today we were jogging the track for warm-up before band camp started and me and 3 of my friends noticed that we were jogging in step unpurposefully...and with songs I have to find the beat....

i just started marching two weeks ago, so idk all the steps and such yet
but i'll be wlking around campus and find myself marching all the time o.o
it's a lil weird...cuz i didnt like learning to march that much...in the hot sun
but i do it all the time
so not weird at all =]

I used to have (iPod died) pep band music on my iPod. Stuff like hang on sloopy, various koolio sounding school songs, and some classical music. I sometimes catch myself humming things we played @ football games during school. xD
