I don't know much about kung fu, but i think tiger is suposed be a fierce powerful fighting style, and i tend to be a bit reserved when i fight. Maybe mastering tiger would help me as a fighter.
Ultimately if I were to take up kung fu I wouldn't quit till i mastered them all, but I realize i don't have time in my life for an obsseion that big

I'd probably learn tiger, snake, or dragon (which I think is sort of a combination of tiger and snake). Tiger because of the power, Snake because it's a soft style of sorts, and Dragon because it has a mixture of both worlds.

The Tao - Guild Rules
These are just a few rules to maintain some order.
Conduct
Obey Gaias ToS
Arguing, criticism, and style bashing are all allowed. Racism, sexism and discrimination due to disability are not.
Don't try to claim styles or ranks that you don't own. We will figure it out.
Do not Beg. The Chatterbox is there for a reason.

Sorry but what point are you trying to make there?
Style bashing is allowed....
Technically saying it is for faggots is against the rules but I've long since given up on that one. Just accept the fact that some people think kungfu is closer to dance than combat 3nodding

It's kind of interesting, at my Kwoon (for those who don't know, it's the Chinese equivalent to Dojo), once you become a Sihing (1 belt under black), you get to study under one specific animal style (Tiger, Dragon, Leopard, Snake, or Crane), and then after you have mastered your chosen style and complete the mental and fitness tests, you become a Sifu. I'm thinking of either doing tiger or dragon style, still don't know what I want to do for sure.
About saying "Muay Thai is better then Kung Fu", I disagree. All martial arts are equal (if we take out all of the bullshido). The thing is, all martial arts have pro's and con's. My style of Kung Fu (Kempo/Chuan Fa), is the grandfather of all Kung Fu styles, and most Asian martial arts. We have aspects of all Kung Fu styles, while we may not be best at certain things, we can adapt and use a technique not known to another style.
