It was about noon by the time the odd pair had arrived into town. One of the two girls, a rather pretty black-haired trainer called Luna, was in the lead. Behind her followed Lamen, who for the moment looked rather charred. This was accurate, for not too long ago, she had been hit by the other trainer’s pokemon’s fire blast. (It had been an unfortunate accident; she had sat on one of Ninetail’s tails.) In addition to having knocked her out instantly, this attack had burnt up most of her clothing, so she looked rather conspicuous walking down the streets wearing Luna’s towel like a long skirt and her thankfully unharmed hoodie over that.
Grateful that the merchant's stall-lined streets were so lively and occupied that people hardly noticed her, Lamen busied herself by gazing up at the windows who shined full of midday sun; her eyes were always drawn towards reflecting objects. Invariably, her thoughts returned to the embarrassment that was her first attempted battle, despite her trying not to think about it. Luna had lent her one of her pokemon, since she had none; having lost so badly, the pidgeot named Prince now hated her. Nine, the Ninetails who fireblasted her, probably did as well. Despite the learning experience that the trainee was so thankful for, she couldn't help but think this could have turned out a little better... Oh well. Soon they would arrive to Luna's stall.

"Here we are~" Luna said cheerfully, motioning towards a fairly large stall. It was almost the size of a small store thanks to Luna scaring off all the other people in her area. On the counter was a single pokeball, hidden by several plushies of all kinds of pokemon. The pokeball wiggled and burst open, revealing a tired raichu who peaked an eye open at the two visitors.
"Chuuu?" ChuChu asked, jumping onto Luna's shoulder and into the hat that dangled from her neck. The raichu was quite glad her guarding duty was over, now she could return to napping in her trainer's hat until her next battle. And maybe later the could play in Nine's garden...with Pillan.
The trainer chuckled. "Thanks ChuChu~" She said as she walked behind her stall to retrieve some clothes for Lamen. "Um...not so sure what you wear...you can take your pick." Luna offered, stepping away from the small cabnit under the stall where she kept her clothes.
Surprisingly, Luna had a wide array of clothing. Although most were casual, comfortable clothes, some foreign and seemingly expensive clothing layed perfectly folded at the bottom of the cabnet.

Walking through the many stalls with wide magenta eyes, the small girl could not believe the wide array of talent and goods that could be seen. It made her wonder if she could ever buckle down and run a stall herself to earn some money. "Then again," she pondered aloud, "My drawing skills are far from being up to par."
Sure she was a decent artist, and she could only hope that her goal to find and draw every pokemon in the world would lead to better drawing skills as well, but that didn't mean she was good enough to earn money. Oh did it suck not having very many skills... Head drooping, she gave a small sigh. "Maybe I should get myself a pokemon and enter the contest scene."
If she could ever catch herself a pokemon. At that thought her hand reached for the pink and white pokeball she kept around her neck, the reminder of her goal and the spot she hoped to one day hold Mew, if she was lucky enough to catch such a wonderous creature. Lost in thought, her feet moving her down the sidewalk, she was suddenly pulled from the depths of her mind at the sight of a small group of pokemon plushies.
Strawberry-blonde-ish fanned out as her head snapped up, those dark magenta eyes widened in awe more so then before. She had a weakness for plushies... Immediately she ran over, a childish giggle escaping her on the way until she stopped about a foot away to tryand get a glance at all the plushes for sale.
"Uwah...."

Upon arrival, Lamen's eyes almost appeared to gleam with enthusiasm. "Wow, those plush toys are adorable. And so is your Raichu!" She nearly snorted with laughter as Chuchu darted beneath Luna's hat and disappeared. (Unknown to anyone on this continent, Lamen had a large collection of plushies back home.)
At the other trainer's instruction, she nodded. "Oh... okay, thank you. I'll return these as soon as possible." Assuming that at the top of the pile would be the clothes Luna wore more often, she dug a random pair of black shorts and a green t-shirt out of the center of the pile. This would do fine. As a matter of fact, it was a little similar to what she was wearing before.
Lamen was looking around for a suitable spot to change when someone ran towards the stall, even more enthusiastic than she had been.

"You can change in the back..." Luna directed Lamen to the back of the stall where a rail hanged overhead, allowing a curtain to be slided around to create a room. "Just pull this curtain around and voila! A changing room!" The trainer demonstrated this by sliding around the curtain a few time. "Just watch out for the needles~Oh, customer. Have fun!"
Luna gave Lamen a slight push towards the room before walking to the front to greet her customer. The girl seemed to be looking at the plushies in such a childish wonder that it made Luna smile. It was like seeing her mirror image.
"Hey there, looking for anything in particular?" Luna asked.

Realizing that some one else was there, her cheeks lit up in a soft blush and her arms hid behind her back. "N-no, not really. I was just..." Staring like a complete and total idiot! Mentally she poked fun at herself for her stupidly, her eyes closing in embarrassment as she continued to mentally make fun of herself.
Seconds later her eyes opened and she blushed more, realizing she was keeping the woman waiting. "U-uh... I wan... admiring your plushies. They'rereallyprettyandbackhomeIhavealotofthemsotheyimmediatelycaughtmyeye! Doyoumakethemyourself?" Embarrassed and trying to make conversation, her arms flailed as she babbled excessively with no breath.

Needles?! In the changing room, Lamen first glanced around, trying to find the "needles" she had been warned about. Unable to locate them, she stiffly and quickly changed in the middle of the tiny room, moving as little as possible. There was a lot of indistinct babbling from the other side of the curtain, which was pretty confusing- but as she finally walked out, she could see it was the customer, being ...very embarrassed.
Interested, Lamen leaned against the stall and listened absentmindedly, while scanning the plushies and trying to find an excuse to buy them. She was travelling, and probably shouldn't spend that much pocket money on things she would have to bring with her in her already enormously stuffed backpack. However, she should buy one as thanks for lending her clothes. She then stepped up to Aimi's side with a smile, and crouched down to pull a Shroomish plushie out of the pile. "I'd like this one," she said encouragingly, meaning for the flustered girl besides her to be less shy about buying one.

Luna blinked and was taken aback at the jumble of sentences, barely getting the gist of what the girl was saying. Luna tried to reply to the girl, piecing together what little parts of the sentence she heard. She failed. "Uhh...umm-"
Thankfully, at this moment, Lamen choose to speak up. Luna nearly sighed in relief. "Sure!" She said, walking towards her cashregister. Right after she had put a finger on the device, Luna remembered something. "How about a discout?" She asked the two. "You both are probably trainers...saving money would be in your best interest. I KNOW." The trainer chuckled at the thought of her dewgong's appitite.

Surprised by the sudden appearance of the other trainer, Aimi squeaked and toppled over and she was forced to take a deep breath as her eyes swirled. When she returned to normal, she scrambled to her feet and watched as the one who had startled her moved to purchase one of the adorable plushies. It made her want one... If only to have something as a reminder of home with her...
"A-ah... D-do you have..." blushing at her stuttering, she poked her fingers together and lowered her head so her bangs cast a shadow over her face. "D-do you have mew?"

Lamen blinked at Aimi's strange reaction, hoping she wasn't really so frightening as to shock unsuspecting people- although she had been called scary quite a few times back home. "Um... sorry." She apologized uncertainly, returning her eyes to Luna.
"A discount, really?" She asked, gratitude in her voice as she opened her bag to reach for some money. "Thanks, that's very nice of you. I don't really have a job right now, so I'm pretty much living off my savings."
She paused, hearing Aimi's question, and smiled. It seemed her plan had been a success... although she wondered why Aimi seemed so nervous. The blonde-haired girl didn't seem like the kind of person who should be left alone to wander, and Lamen had to suppress a frown at the hypothesis of someone having abandoned her here.

"Haha, I know. I didn't have a job either when I first came here...just mooching off pokemon centers." Luna said, accepting the money and stashing it in the cash register. "Of course, they can't provide for people ALL the time, so you kinda have to find a way to survive, either by growing or making your own food or finding some way to buy food. " Only after she had finished her small speech did she notice that Aimi had toppled over, recovered, and was now asking a question. "Hmm? Mew. Of course!" Luna answered, grabbing a plushie from next to her. She brandished a stuffed mew in Aimi's face, complete with soft pink fur and a hanging tail, filled with small beads.

Seeing the adorable mew plush, her magenta eyes got wide again and she just sort of stared at it. Blinking after a moment, she reached into her bag and produced a small coin purse made in the shape of mew. A birthday present one year from her sister. "How much for her?" she asked softly.
Nervous? One could say that Aimi was a nervous sort of person... But that was because she didn't really know how to mingle with new people. All her life she had been around people she knew and now that she was off on her own, it was a whole different story. It was just something she would have to work on... But she was not going to let it hinder her quest, she refused to. And this mew plushie was going to be one more reminder.

Lamen smiled as Luna pulled out the Mew plushie, while she tucked the Shroomish plushie safely in the little free space her bag had. "You're really very good at making these. Growing your own food, huh? Renting a patch of soil somewhere for that might be an interesting idea..." After a pause during which the younger trainer produced her purse, Lamen realized that she might be a new trainer as well, just like herself- that's why she was on her own, and didn't have any pokeballs belted to her waist.
"Sorry, but are you a trainer?" She asked, an idea coming to mind.

"Haha, thanks. And renting wouldn't be so hard, the committee that oversees the habitation of this region encourages farmers." Luna said to Lamen before turning her attention back to the girl as she pulled out the small mew purse. The girl really did look very nervous and shy, especially with her soft voice and appearance.
She was about to name a price when Lamen spoke out before her. It seemed like the other trainer had a plan. "How about 600 yen then?" Luna asked, depositing the soft mew plush ontop of Bun's head. Luna never liked charging people much for her plushies, she much rather enjoyed the look of joy on their face when they got one.

Blinking as the plush was set on her head, a small, cute smile graced her features and she happily gave Luna the money owed for the plush. It really was just too cute! "Thank you very much for the plushie."
And then, turning from the booth owner, Aimi glanced at the one next to her and inclined her head, moving a hand up to keep the plush from falling from it's perch. "...Not really? I'm more classified as a watcher..." She wasn't big on the whole fighting thing, though she knew she'd have to at some point once she could get her own pokemon. "I'd like to catch atleast one of my very own some day... But I prefer to just watch and draw pokemon." Voice still soft and probably hard to hear, it was the most she had said yet.
