I know there are people who like Slipknot here, I managed to get a hold of their new song 'All Hope Is Gone'. Get it here Enjoy! ------------- Looks like they're trying to move away from their 'groove metal' thing that they used to have, for a more 'metalcore' sound. Don't know whether to go YAY or be "this s**t's too ordinary". xD

I've been listening to Vol. 3: The Subliminal Verses lately. It's good s**t. I'm also gonna see them in concert along with Disturbed, Dragonforce, Five Finger Death Punch, etc.
I like Slipknot's newer s**t. Thanks for the song <3

It sounds much like the old Slipknot - like a mix of Iowa and their self-titled. Not bad actually - makes me look forward to their new album whenever it may come out.

I love Slipknot, one of my favorite bands! But I don't know what to make of them. I like All Hope Is Gone, but they're to extreme in the album. The song All Hope Is Gone is really heavy, but other songs like Snuff are downright. . . Soft.
But I'm not going to b***h and say they suck now, I just think they got tired of what they were doing, and are moving in a new direction. I can't blame for that either, since they've been around for over 10 years.
My biggest complaint with the band is the "selling out" factor. They have tons of merchandise, and a lot of people buying it up, thinking that by owning a Slipknot shirt they're some sort of hard core metalhead. People like that make me angry, because they almost never know what they're talking about. . .
