Gosh, I've been gone...not just from the guild, but from Gaia in general. (High school does that. You know, suck the fun out of everything.) Buuut, now I'm back, and with an adorable avatar, no less! biggrin
Anyway...
So I'm in China right now on vacay with my bestest friend everrrr. What I'm about to tell you happened in Beijing, two nights ago.
Let's see...
The apartment complex we're staying in is right beside a mall. Inside the mall, there's this fast food place called Yoshinoya. Usually, my friend and I would walk together to get dinner/lunch there. But two nights ago, my friend was taking a shower and I was STARVING so I decided to walk over there and get dinner by myself.
It was dark, probably 8:30ish. To get to the place, you have to walk out of the complex, down this street, down another little street, into the mall, and into Yoshinoya. Despite the fact it was Beijing, there was almost nobody around. It was very humid, yet also slightly windy.
Anyway, so I get my food to go and start walking back. It usually takes about 5 minutes. I had just left when I heard...this thing.
I turn around and I see..The mall security guard walking inside. He smiles, I smile, I continue walking.
THEN, I hear what I can only say is like dragging a messnger bag on the ground. By now, it is fairly dark. Turning, I see something in the shadow of the mall. I start walking faster, glancing over my shoulder. By the time I cross to the other street, I can now see it in full body.
It was..a person. More or less, anyway. It looked about 6 feet, almost, but it had a terrible hunch. Long black hair hung in front of it's creepy, hollow plae face. It almost looked..gray. It was wearing (I really didn't bother to look at it's clothes, I was pretty much scared shitless at this point) what looked like a long cloak. The dragging noise?....I swear to god, it looked like he was dragging a mutilated animal. I screamed. Or tried to, at least, it came out as a "ah."
Then I turned and ran all the way back to the apartment, just as it was starting to look up/
From then on, I insisted we go to Yoshinoya during daylight, or take a taxi to and fro.
It was so ******** scary, dude. neutral
SO YEAH!
That's my story. =]
