So lets say Gaia turned their gold into the US dollar and you could use it in real life.
How long would you be able to last with the money?

 i'd be good to go if i had as much US money as i do gaia money... i wouldn't have to worry so much about being able to afford to get john home before he goes to war...

Right now I'd have enough to pay off the rest of the house and the car.
If I got a chance to sell my inventory, help my family members, and I was careful. I'd be set for the next 10 years or so.

if i could sell my items for how much the go for here i'd be set pretty much for life . . . if not then well i only have 6kish in pure . . . so i'd get a motorcycle probly a "crotch rocket" my checking has showed me some of those have the best gas milage out there 55 mpg on one i saw . . . that outclasses even some of the best hybrids . . . 6k could get a bike too . . .
700kish in items if i could sell them i could get 7 houses . . . use one for myself rent out the others . . . i'd have income for the rest of my life . . . maybe even more houses . . . i've seen em as low as 53k here . . .

Anyways, in just gold, 60k, I could pay for the majority of college
(I need ten or eleven years.)
If we could also sell our items for money, 2.5 millionish, I could buy a decent house, nice car, and all of college n on
I'd probably have a lot left over, but I'd invest most of that. Figure out what to do with it later. Probably start some charities and the like.
All that fun stuff xDD
...I hardly need to explain just what effect
this would have on his personality.

I don't know how long it'd last, but I'd have a lot of freaking money. However, I know I'd buy a house and things to furnish it, a good car, one of those beautiful Korean/Japanese BJDs, a tablet PC, and then save the rest for other important things like college, food, bills, and renewing my Disneyland Annual Pass.

I'd probably be able to afford to get an apartment with 2 bedrooms... or maybe just a nice one bedroom in a totally sweet building with doorman and gym. That would be sweet.
If I could change my inventory too, I might wait til the real estate market has gotten cheaper and invest in a sweet little fixer-upper apartment in Soho or the upper west side.
And that would be really sweet actually.

I would fix up my house and get a new deck. Oh! And rip out the main bathroom and totally re-do it with a big bathtub. And a nicer kitchen.
And donate some to my library cause I still feel a teeny tiny bit guilty for demanding new spinner racks and another set of shelves even though I can really use the space.

Just your gold count or your entire worth..
If it were just my gold count..That'd last..10 minutes.
I'd be buying myself a kick a** Gibson Les Paul.
Now...my entire worth on the other hand..
I'd be buying:
- Les Paul
- A few concert tickets
- Some CD's
- A new wardrobe.

I dunno how long it would last me though.

My gold currently... I'd last about 15 minutes because that's the amount of time it takes for me to drive form my house to the mall. xD
I'd buy a completely new wardrobe of clothes, and cut & dye my hair.
And of course, buy all those new video games I've wanted.
