New Battle System Test...Albireo vs. Prince! Also Raping Mythee's Battle Virginity and Testing New Battle System ;D

WE BE RANDOMIZING UP OUR FIELD NAO ;O
A large screen towered over the stadium. A spinner with twelve different battle field locations displayed on the screen, waiting to be choosen. One of the trainers jumps to the control room and presses a big green button to start up the spinner. The screenshots of each battlefield light up as they are passed by the spinner. Finally, the light stops on...
THE CITY-STREETS FIELD
Broken tar and faded yellow lines make up the “street” that runs down the exact center of the battle field. On either side of the road, sidewalks with pieces of concrete here and there are broken off while “building walls”, set with windows of sugar glass and rotating doors are placed on one side of the street. On the other is a broken down building with barred window and a boarded up door. Faint traces of grim and much cover the walls of both “buildings” while trash cans and trash bags decorate the street; some are torn open with their contents spilled out while others are not. A sewer grate nearby continually pours a stream of fog into the air while, on the corner near a crossroad, a phone booth is seen. The phone, hanging off the hook, makes a continuous busy signal. Dying and dead bushes line the building sides while occasional breezes blow the dead leaves onto the sidewalks and road.

"Oh GOD no!" The black haired trainer looked at the field she had landed in horror. "NONONOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
The smell. The horrible smell of rotten eggs, gym socks, and all unholy things mixed together hit her back at full force. She absolutely hated this field, more than the icefield even. Someone was out to make her life miserable, she knew it. Sighing, she stepped into a trainer box marked out by chalk, praying that the pokemon committee may have installed air conditioners near that area or something. Unfortunately, they did not.
Luna reached into her leg strap to pull out a reduced size pokeball. She pressed the center to enlarge it before weakly throwing it into the field. "Okay...definately going to try to make this quick. Albireo!"
She was too caught up with the stentch to even greet the new trainer, let alone give her a warning to hold her breath before breathing in the oh-so-fresh stadium air.
((Generally, we'll just roll a six sided dice to see who goes first. This may or maynot change, but I'm going to stick to it for this battle at least >w>;; ))

The new trainer was about to have a battle for the first time, and her anticipation at also teaming up with a pokemon for the first time (she was quite the newbie in every way) had her stepping onto the field joyfully, unaware of the torture she was about to endure. The smells hit her full face as she took a first breath, causing her to cough and sputter. She held up a hand, saying: "I'm... I'm okay!" and quickly threw the pokeball, almost as eager for this to end as to begin.
"Prince!" Lamen called, and the Pidgeot flew out and looped gracefully, only to finish with a crooked landing onto the street with a "GEOOOT." of exhasperation. Not THIS field!
"Ugh. Not the best place to have a first battle with you, Prince. I'm sorry you had to do this. Let's be quick, alright?" Lamen waved to Luna, smiling forcefully. "Thanks!" She shouted, although not sure if she'd get a response, with the other trainer looking so glum. She was having difficulty breathing, herself.

Luna honestly wanted to throw up...the field was horrible.
Albireo waddled towards a garbage bag, distracted by the new field and half-ignoring the stench. He stuck his nose into the trash bag, looking for food but only ended up half sneezing, half snorting from the bad smell and propelling the bag into a wall.
"Okay! Ready?" Luna asked, more to herself than to her opponent and pokemon.

Lamen took the initiative. She wouldn't want this battle to start out too badly for her partner- wouldn't lowering her opponent's attack power give her, the less experienced trainer, an advantage? "Prince, Feather Dance!"
The pidgeot nodded his head once and flew up into the air, executing a rythmic dance of swift loopy dives and slow flaps of his wings- it was a captivating, and rare sight. Blurry images of feathers filled the air and finally dissolved, but not from his opponent's mind.

Luna started to tune out the smell as she witnessed her own pokemon make his move. Feather dance was a pretty move, and this was the first time she actually saw the secondary effect of it take place. It was very exciting, so much that she wanted to try it herself."Eeeh~? Fine! Two can play that game! Albireo, aurora beam!"
Albireo shook his head to half clear it of the floating feathers. They looked like marshmellows....kinda....oh wait. Attack! Yeah! Albireo opened his mouth to form a multicolored orb of light. The orb then transformed into a beam of light that created an aurora borealis over the stadium that reduced most pokemon's will to fight due to it's beauty.
((Note: I used aurora beam here for it's stat effect of lowering your attack while I can still use it for an attacking move later on. It saves move slots, try it sometime? xD
But never fear, even moves like featherdance can be considered offensive if described in the right way :3 ))

"Evade it!" Lamen said, but the aurora beam was not aimed towards Prince- rather, towards to sky.
'Great aim, Albireo.' Prince remarked to himself, amused- but to the pokemon's disadvantage, he looked towards the display of light, and was relaxed by the beautiful vision. When he turned around to the temporary trainer's voice, he wasn't in an offensive mood.
"Prin- oh, for the sake of- okay, let's try this! Use swagger!"
'Is this a dance class or something?' He remarked sarcastically in pokemon, which roughly translates to "Geot!" Prince seemed to hover for a moment, and then fall out of the air- before you'd notice it, he was on the ground, making strange staggering motions on his legs- it seemed he would lose balance any moment, but his attack persisted in order to confuse his opponent. Another effect of Swagger was that Prince had regained his will to fight. xP;
((Aaand his attack is back! 4laugh Sorry! xD It's also supposed to confuse the opponent. o3o ))

((You have to roll for confusion Mythee :3
Two four sided dice. First one determines accuracy. Second determines length. Also, it boosts your opponent's attack, not your own o3o;;
Furthermore, you can't go for confusion and stat up at the same time. Only one at a time plzkthx))

Inside, Luna was thinking how unwise it was to leave Prince on the ground. Her pokemon always felt more confident in the skies, even the bleak skies of the city-street field were better than its surface. "Heh! Ignore it Albireo and go for an aurora beam again! Let's bring em do-" Luna choked on the air again. She needed to add 'air mask' to her shopping list.
Albireo gave a cheerful bark, completely zoning out the swagger. He opened his mouth again and let another colorful orb of light flicker into existance. The light soon transformed into a beam again and shot out towards the temporarily grounded Prince.

((Remember this is super effective so if it is a normal hit, I will hit you by 100 since feather dance subtracts 50 HP and I get a boosted 50 HP damage from it being 2x effective against flying types :3 ))

The beam hit Prince before he had the time to take off- he flew backwards with the force of the hit. "GEOOO!" He shrieked, the cold from ice attack penetrating his feather's protection, causing him to shudder as the initial impact faded. He flapped upwards to safer air angrily, almost directing his anger towards this other trainer's bad choice of attack.
Lamen winced, wanting to apologize- but now, she would choose more wisely. "Prince- ice is weak against steel! Steel Wing!" She shouted, and the pidgeot's feathers started to harden. In a metallic flash, he dove at Albireo.

Holding her nose, Luna ordered her next command."'Bireo! Create a blizzard around yourself!"
"Dewwww!"
Albireo's eyes glowed as snow suddenly rushed into the stadium, causing Luna to shiver violently and search for her jacket within her bag. Prince sliced Albireo's blubbery skin, but did not pierce much due to the oncoming storm creating vision problems.
The blizzard also blew away some of the bad air and froze the flies. Luna thought it was almost worth getting major hypothermia and possibly frostbite.
