Locale Name: Hunter Mission System Outposts
Classification: business/city service (district, business, city service, eatery or inn, clan, other)
Controlled:Hunter
Description: Littered across Byako is a series of small buildings belonging to the Hunter Clan. The interior of each building is near the same for the most part.
Oposite of the door is a wooden counter seperating the last third of the room from the front and a metal grill closing it off save for a single booth. Above this booth was a simple sign. Accepting Missions Collect Reward In this booth say a Shroom Starune. Noted for its Black robes, White mushroom cap and pink facial features. Here a person would go to accept a mission and later collect there reward.
Against the right wall was a couple computers for people to make mission requests. They were seperates into booths with a closed curtain behind them so those requesting a mission could keep what they are requesting private to all except for Hunter Clan itself and the person who accepts the mission.
Further down the wall, closer to the door was a bulletin board that listed special bounties worth a persons atention, requests from other mercs or hunters looking for partners and the current ranking among Hunters and the Mercs.
Taking up the left side of the room was a pool table, dart board, a couple chairs and a capachino maker. Turning the place into a sort of hangout for free lance mission takers during there free time.
There were a number of these outposts scattered across Byako and one would have no trouble going into one place to accept a mission and picking up there reward at another.
Past Events: Evan came in and took a job dealing with a rogue dragon
Current Events: Aashar took on a job to handle a riot in the casino

A rather tall and shadowy man wearing black walked into the mission outpost, ducking slightly so he would not hit his had on the top of the door frame. His clothing was mostly black consisting of a loose black leather trench coat. Under this he wore black full black armor with gold and green dragoon insignia on his chest, arms, and gloves. On his head was a straw hat that hung low casting a shadow over most of his young, but slightly tired looking face down to just below the nose. Around his neck was a long black sash like scarf that partially covered the lower have of his face, but you could see just enough of it to see the stubble that grew on it. One his back lay two swords crossed over one another. The swords were gold with a black hilt. At the end of the hilt was a short keychain like thing bearing the same insignia as the one that sat on his chest. The blade itself had a silver and green dragoon the stretched from the hilt to the top of the 40 inch straight sword. At his side was an emerald colored bad with the dragoon insignia in gold that was tied to his belt holding his other items like elemental spheres, dragoon crest, and transformer cube, along with various other gadgets and potions he created. He walked up to the wooden counter and cleared his throat and said to the starune," I'm hear to accept a mission. Any mission will do, though i would like one on the tougher side. In fact give me the most "interesting" mission you have." He put his had into his bag and pulls out a hand full of money and puts on the counter, then said," This should cover the cost, whatever it may be."

Evan nodded and said," I see..." He scooped the money back into his bag then the mission briefing sheet off the wooden counter and gave it a quick scan then said," Well it looks good enough. With this i shall take my leave, I will return once the mission is completed." Evan stuffed the mission briefing sheet into his overcoat pocket then walked away from the counter and walked out the mission outpost door; ducking his head once again so he would not hit his head, towards the ruined city of Rustir, the location of his mission.

without any real warning, a man appears in midair near the ceiling (or 20 ft up, if it's an insanely high ceiling). and proceeds to fall.
despite obviously being suprised to find himself in midair, the man lands as gracefully as can be expected. he then stands, looks around the room, and spots the starune.
standing where he fell, in case moving toward the thing would frighten it, the man says in a pleasant tone, "Pardon me, but I have no idea what just happened to me. Would you be so kind as to tell me where I am?"
the man is dressed in a white kimono and carries a good sized pack at his right side. the man carries a katana at his left side and what looks like an oversized scimitar on his back, handle behind and above his left shoulder. the katana's sheath and tsuka (handle) are a light blue with an intricate design of clouds and wind. the other blade's sheath and handle are decorated with a red-orange design that seems to move like flames.

the starune looks mildly startled, but recovers quickly. "you are in Byako, specifically one of the many outposts controlled by the Hunter guild. Who are you?"
the man smiles, "how rude of me, My name is Aashar. I am a mercenary from Phantesi. Would you be so kind as to help me get my bearings?"
"not at all what would you like to know?"
I guess I should start with, where is Byako on the map?
(I'll do me-me conversation in little bits, so that I can be interrupted)

We really don't know. people show up in this city all the time, most of them have no clue how they got here. You said you are a mercenary, yes?
Yes. why? do you have a job?
I would certainly hope so, I am one responsible for assigning and rewarding them. Would you like one to help you get acclimated to Byako?
Sure, which ones do you have? and, is there some organization I have to file with to work in the city?

suddenly the starune's computer starts beeping. the starune clicks a few things and, after a moment, says.
"normally you would want to register with the hunter clan, maybe even become a member. but there seems to be some sort of mild disturbance at the casino, do you have any knowledge of gambling?"
"I know that it is for fools. I also know that there were always fools around for the casino owners to feed on. I also know how to tell when someone is cheating, I had to get at someone by winning a poker circuit once."
"OK then, how about you run over to the casino and try to sort out the problem and I'll formalize it as a mission so that you get paid for it when you get back. does that sound OK to you?
"Yes, that should be sufficient. how do I get to the casino?"
the starune then hands him a map and points out where they are and the reccomended path to the casino. Aashar thanks the starune with a bow and hustles out the door. ((to casino))
