These mountains are extremely high, which balances out the airs advantage to fly. The mountains are also hot, geysers and hotsprings are all around. This is our first defence if the air attacks, the fort stationed here is equiped with long range weapons for the fight.

This territory was lost to the nation of air during a battle.
Congrats to the victorious!

Hrothgar stood at the base of the mountain range looking up toward the peaks. He chuckled and placed his hands on his hips, with a cocky smile. "Heh! No problem. I've been conquering mountains since I was a little boy." He turned to his golem and nodded. "You have your instructions. It's time for Phase two, Obsidion." The golem nodded and began climbing the mountain in great thundering leaps. Hrothgar Began climbing in a different direction, still making great leaps as he ascended the mountains.

Hrothgar carved his path across the mountains, jumping viciously from cliff to cliff like an enraged yeti. As he leaped from point to point, every so often he would look at the fortress in the distance. He came to a stop watching the fortress for a moment, then looking at his time piece. "ok... three... two... one..." As Hrothgar finished his count down, a loud explosion sounded from within the fortress. "Right on cue... It's a shame I won't be able to watch." He began jumping from cliff to cliff to continue on his path toward Hell on Earth.

Obsidion burst forth from the ground within the fortress. It let out a piercing howl in rage before viciously assaulting the fort guard. Obsidion made the ground burst forth with sharp spines of iron and ravaging waves of dust as it tore though the fort's inner defenses it made it's way toward the cannon bay. Obsidion summoned all the gunpowder and cannon balls around it. Quickly, it loaded the cannons facing toward the air border. Obsidion scooped up one of the tiny swords carried by the troops and heated the tip. Dragging the sword against the ceiling over the canons, Obsidion lit them firing them into the air kingdom in a volley.

Obsidion repeated it's process of firing cannons into air territory as told. At last it ran out of ammunition for the cannons. Obsidion took the still hot but heavily grinded away blade, and tossed it into it's mouth. Obsidion swallowed the blade and marched toward the entrance to the fort casually walking past the impaled and sand blasted troops.

Obsidion walked into the fortress doors knocking them down and walking over them. As it took one last glance at the fortress, It pressed both hands against the ground. The earth began cracking profusely, the cracks spreading out around the fortress and leading down the slopes. The cracked ground shattered, creating an avalanche and taking the empty fortress with it to the bottom. Obsidion stood up and began marching off toward Hell on Earth. It took one glance back hearing the rumble of the avalanche, before continuing it's march.

Cairo hadn't traveled these mountains in years. He has been in the Capitol City for such a long period of time, it felt that way. As he followed the small, mountain pass trail, he thought about what people will say to him. That he was a traitor? That he wasn't "noble" enough to be in the army again? He shrugged his faults behind him, he was better now. He could beat the whole army 1 on 1 if he wanted. He proved that in the Arena.

He saw the Fortress that usually guards these mountains was dark. This late at night it wouldn't be totally dark, it always had flames around. Afterall, that is how the cannons worked. He didn't bother, that wasn't his post, his post was on the East side, not West. He had to get through these, Flamma City and into the other range. He could see the town now...

Kel flew over the mountain peaks looking down into the valleys. He noticed what looked like a recent landslide toward the river. He scratched his head and continued on. "Wonder who's handiwork what was?"

((WAARRRRRR!!!! blaugh blaugh ))

Artemis finally got to the mountains after the long flight. She had worked herself up the whole way and was slightly dissapointed when she didn't find anyone there ready to attack. She stayed up in the air, above the clouds. She used some winds to make a cloud cover big enough for all of them but not supicious enough to cause any attention. Right above the clouds, she made a hard floor of air for them to stand on and to protect them from the arrows. She stayed up there and floated, waiting for the rest to join up with her. It was Illusion's call from here on out. She was no good at war and had no idea what to do.

Kel felt an abnormal gust. A dramatic deviation from the standard wind patterns of the area. He turned his head to notice some people coming in on a jet stream. "Uh oh!" Am I too late?! He scrambled to cover his head. he pulled the hood of his coat over his head and tried to remain inconspicuous. This was fairly difficult in the air with no cover.

zane walked over to where kel was and looked up at where the air was coming in. zane asked "have they set any attacks on anyone?" then he pulled his sword out and got in a ready position.

then zane sheathed his sword and ran to go around to the side to flank them and on his way he saw a lion just lying down on the ground in the the only path that leads around them. so zane decided to wait for the lion to sleep in an old fox hole some ways away so the lion wouldn't smell him.

Zig took heart from Artemis' words and flew faster toward their destination. She soon reached it only minutes behind the other air elementalist and landed on the 'floor' she had created. As a usually neutral party Zig didn't know what they'd do next so she simply bounced from foot to foot in nervousness while awaiting Illusion's arrival.

Kel scratched his head and sighed, watching Zane skitter around on the ground. "How do you get your cover blown when you had none to begin with? Well better get started." He shrugged and started rising toward the cloud. Against the blue and white of the cloud and sky, he noticed two women standing on it as he reached the topside. He attempted to land on it and began to approach. "Excuse me, a moment of your time, please?"

Zig turned in a defensive position to see Kel of all people. What's he doing here? Has he sided with fire in all this? She didn't really know what to say. Should she attack or listen to him? Seeing as Illusion wasn't here yet and that there was no army coming to greet them besides that guy running around with a sword she decided to listen to him. "What would you like to use it for?" Zig replied in reference to their time.

Artemis stumbled backwards away from Kel. Unlike Zig, she had never met this man before and had no idea as to why he was up there. "Who are you?" She asked. The question was becoming familiar to her and she had a good feeling that it would become increasingly so. She looked at Zig, hoping she knew what to do at the moment.

"Zig?" Kel scratched his head, noticing the one person who didn't panic was Zig. He shook his head to return his focus. "Look, I'm not sure how to put it, so I'll just say it. You're being set up. An outside party has been instigating this war between your country and fire. They never actually declared an attack on your capital."

He turned and looked over the edge of the cloud for a moment. "Now if you insist upon waging this war, I can't really stop you. I'm just asking you to watch where your information comes from. Don't you think it odd for Fire to declare an attack with their western front unguarded?" He pointed down toward the remains of a fortress.
