Okay, so this is similar to this thread my friend Aka_Tora has in general discussion and the poll is stolen from her thread also, but I wanted it here too, to add activity, and since here's not many new threads.
The dream you tell doesn't have to be one you have seen just recently, it can be something you saw a long time ago. Also, we all know that dreams are very often weird, so don't care about how stupid your dream may seem to you, just tell it, don't be ashamed. ^^
And it doesn't need to be your own dream, either, if you haven't seen any dream worth telling, you can always tell a dream someone else (your friend or relative, for example) has seen.
I start, then.
I saw this weird dream a couple of days ago. I was on this huuuuge second hand market with my family and some other people I didn't know (I believe it is called second hand market..>.> ) and my parents and those other people searched for something to buy but I was bored. I followed them anyway and then the dream changed and we were suddenly in a middle of rainforest! rofl
All the others were in awe and then they saw water and wanted to go swimming but I didn't because the water was freezing. But the others went and I went too 'cause I was afraid to stay alone in the forest because I could feel something watching me. gonk So we swam in the freezing water and came to this little island with palm trees and beach with white sand.
We couldn't go back where we came, though, because the thing I had felt watching me in the rainforest was in the water now, I just knew it somehow. I was going to tell it to others who wanted to start swimming back, but then I woke up. +_+
Yup. That was pretty scary and weird at the same time. I have more dreams too, but I'll post them when you others have posted something too. 3nodding

i dont usually have dreams, and when i do, i forget about them like 5 seconds after i wake up.. sad but for some reason i always remember my nightmares... >.<
well, i had this nightmare a long time ago, and i still remember it, weird huh? but heres how it went..
"i was walking along the side of the road going to my house, its pitchblack outside, and the only light is the bright stars shining down upon me, as im walking along, i go to cross the road, looking both ways and listening, i begin to cross, and driving by like a speeding bulled is a bug fat drunk in a truck, he hits me, and not even noticing what the drunk has done, continues to drive to his house, ive flipped over the top of his truck, and with severe damage i land in the bed of his truck... as the drunk gets to his house, he stumbles inside, not knowing that i am dying in the bed of his truck.. by morning when the guys has a massive hang over, and walks outside to go to work, he smells this horrible stench, and notices me in the bed of his truck, dead..."
i know i know, it sounds horrible... all my nightmares somehow end up with me dying, or my friends dying... its sad... but recently i havent been having any nightmares, so im happy smile

Okay. I have a couple of dreams to tell about.
I saw this dream last weekend and it didn't really make much sense. There were some stupid teenagers who came to our yard and ruined the lawn by driving around it with motorcycles. scream And I threatened them with police.
Then the dream changed to this nightmare in which bats attacked me, don't ask me why, 'coz in real life I think bats are pretty cute, like mice with wings. xd But in the dream one bit me and I was terrified 'coz in that dream I had read somewhere that a bat's bite can kill you! gonk
And last night I saw a dream that I was alone in this big foreign city. I was driving around with a stolen car and escaping a guy who wanted to murder me. And I ended up in a graveyard with that guy and then I woke up soon after it.
Okay, so my dreams are weird.
Oh, and btw, Gaara. That dream of yours was pretty... disturbing. o.O I've never seen dreams in which I've died. But many of my dreams have me driving - or rather trying to drive a car, and being lost either in woods or in a strange city. rofl

I haven't seen any interesting dreams lately and right now I'm too lazy to tell any of my old, weird ones, so I'll just tell this short one I saw the night before.
I was visiting my friend in England (she left to do an au pair job there a week ago) and at first I got lost in the middle of London. It was terrible and I experienced a horrible culture shock in my dream, 'coz in Finland aren't that many people but there were people everywhere! gonk
However, my friend soon found me, somehow, and brought me with her to see the family she was living with. And as I was going to speak with the mother of the family, I got all embarrassed, because she talked with a british accent, just like my friend, and they were so good at it and when I opened my mouth, I sounded like drunken russian guy or something, my English was horrible! T__T
Soon after I woke up, thank heavens, before I made myself to look any more stupid in front of the family in that dream. The horrible part was that it felt very real and they were all laughing at my poor attempts to pronounce properly.
And I definitely do pronounce better in real life... >.>;;

well ok... I have A LOT of weird dreams... most of which I still remember.... but the funny part is that when I have a "normal" dream... I wake up feeling tired... or I won't be able to sleep at all.
Most of the time... my dreams are premonitions... which is kinda scary... and gives me bad cases of Deja Vu... I hate it.
This happened a few weeks ago.... My bf and I had our last exam, and I slept over at his house the night before (since I was hitching a lift with him for the exam)....
And for some reason... I couldn't sleep very well. (and for those of you wondering.... no... I didn't sleep in his room... I slept in his sisters' room)
That night I dreamt something REALLY weird.... it was about 2 words......and I read somewhere that if you dream about text, then you're not really asleep... you're not supposed to be able to read in a dream (but it's happened to me on several occasions.... usually,all you see is gibberish, but you can "read" it.... in this case...I saw the actual text)
It was just two words that kept repeating in this dream "polymorphism" and "encapsulation".... and they kept looming in my head until morning.
When I woke up (my bf was already awake)... I rushed into his room... sat at his computer... went online and searched for what these two words meant. He thought I was nuts.
Exam time.... and I look at the paper.... what do I see?
"Explain what encapsulation and polymorphism mean in object oriented programming" ...........
I was over joyed^^

I dreamt that I was walking in the city with a cane in my hand. This newspaper boy would come up to me and hand me a newpaper, then I'd hit him with my cane. But the boy didn't bleed. Soo guess what I did....I hit the little boy again. and he started to bleed....I looked around me, and the city had turned into a lake. I was standing ontop water too. Then water turned bright red, and I fell into the lake.
When I woke up I was sleepwalking into the kitchen and noticed that I was standing on spilled water which I must've bumped. Thats why I dreamt of standing on a lake I guess..... sweatdrop

At XXxXDxXX: Ooooh, sleepwalking. I used to walk on my sleep when I was younger, therefore my parents didn't let me go for a night anywhere where I would have had to sleep in a second floor or anywhere where I would have been in danger to fall down stairs or anything. confused Once when I was like 5 or something my parents woke up on me crying in our dark bathroom. I had walked there in my sleep, woke up and started crying 'coz I didn't know where I was. xd
Also, I have also seen a dream where I was walking across water on a lake. O.O
I live in a countryside and we have this lake about a five minutes walk away from our house. In the dream I walked at the place where I use to go swimming when it's summer, watched the water for a while and then I just started walking! I walked about a half mile and there was my mother with this boat and she was fishing. And besides her boat, there was my little sister sitting inside a leaking rubber boat, and she was trying to bale water out of the boat.
So, I just stood there watching them and asked my mother why didn't she help my sister since her rubber boat was sinking. And my mom was just like "Duh, can't you see I'm busy fishing?"
I shrugged and kept on walking, leaving them there.
rofl That was one of the strangest dreams I've seen, for sure.

At Wicked Feenix: Wow... yeah that WAS strange. But I'm sure it's not as strange as this....
I dreamt I was at school... and I wanted a drink... and I saw one of my friends (that I have never seen before) drinking from a new pack of juice. I asked her where she got it and she said the cafeteria. So I went to the cafeteria .... and the door was blocked with empty boxes. So I took down some boxes... and a head popped through asking what I wanted to order. I ordered the juice... but she gave me 2 cartons of milk instead. I took them and put them in a plastic bag... and into my school bag... and into another bigger bag. I walked to the nearest park and started drinking my milk.
Then I saw 3 old ladies in shorts riding electric scooters.... they were doing stunts in the middle of the street. They were pretty good. Then A duck sat besides me on the bench... saw the old ladies.... and stole my milk.
Then a tornado came..... and we all ran away.....
Then I woke up..........
my first thoughts were "what the hell did I eat last night?"

Which reminds me, last night I saw a dream in which I stole someone's food.
I was still a high school student in my dream, but I was very beautiful and popular cheerleader. o.O (in real life I was one of the biggest weirdos at my high school, I think.. xd )
Anyway, me and my best friend (some other popular cheerleader) were sitting at a hallway during break. And we saw someone's school bag there, and I stole a sandwich from the bag and then we ate it, my friend and me. Then the owner of the bag, a fat (and I mean FAT) girl who was like twice as tall as me and three times as wide, came and threatened to beat me up because I had stolen her food! gonk
And then I woke up. rofl Luckily, because soon I would have been nothing but a bloody puddle on the floor in my dream. eek
Seriously, where do all those dreams come from? Maybe 'coz I ate a sandwich before going to bed?

Lol... could be^^
certain foods trigger imagination. Also, something you saw when awake could make you dream strange things too.
I remember about 5 years ago, during carnival week in Malta... the capital city's gates were covered in these long posters. The posters had paint splashes in the shape of people on them. And that night I dreamt that my friends and I were on a bus, and we painted each other with different colours inside the bus..... and the bus would then speed up and pass through the city gates, and we would jump out and splat against the wall to create that paint splash effect. Weird ha?

While dreaming your mind goes through the things that have happened during the day or that you've been thinking lately... (my psychology studies are the reason for this knowledge, but that still doesn't explain some of the strangest dreams I've seen... O.O )
Before I got my driving lisence soon two years ago, I used to see nightmares about driving a car, maybe because I knew I'd have to get a driving lisence one day, and I was very nervous about it... In the dreams I was always lost somewhere with a car... Or I couldn't drive it properly. xd
One of my most memorable dreams is one I saw about three years ago, I guess. In that dream, I was inside a bus, with few other passengers, and the bus was driving along a little sandy road in the middle of a forest. And then suddenly the bus driver jumped out of the window!!!!! gonk
I have no idea why it was me who was chosen to go to the drivers seat before the bus drove out of the road. Well, I did it, though, and started to drive, but the bus was out of control and I couldn't turn the wheel properly.
And then there was a river ahead, and across it was leading only a small, very old looking bridge. I was trying to get the wheel turned so that we could drive past the river because the break didn't work, eiher, but I didn't make it and instead I drove the bus straight to the river. Me and other passengers escaped from the windows.
Then the dream continued somehow but I don't remember how, anymore. Maybe that's for the best. xd

wow... that was some dream. I'd have been scared out of my wits in real life.
I would have probably woken up from the impact of hitting the river. It happens to me often. You dream about falling and you wake up frightened.

Ugh! I hate dreams like that. gonk I walk somewhere, for example, and then I start falling - and wake up terrified. And I actually feel like I did fall to my bed, really. eek I hate it!!!
Last night was horrible.
I went to sleep late. Soon after I woke up when something hit the window of my room real hard! gonk It wasn't a dream, it really happened, I think it was some kind of big bird or something...
After that I fell asleep quickly. The next time I woke up and I couldn't feel my arm, I couldn't even move it. I had slept on it, so that explained it, but at first, being all sleepy and in the middle of a night, I was horrified and thought I have some kind of paresis. But then after a while when the blood started to flow normally again I realized my hand had only gone numb....
Then I fell asleep again... And I dreamed being in a sea shore and there was a huge storm. And there were hundreds of little birds floating in the water and I was trying to save them, because their feathers were wet and they couldn't fly and were drowning.
Then I woke up. eek
I had eaten a banana before going to sleep. I will never do that again if that is what happens then!!!

Okay.. I have no new dreams, 'coz while in Estonia I couldn't sleep very well and so I didn't really dream either... But instead I'll tell this one dream my little sister saw once, because that dream always makes me laugh. And it's a proof that no matter what, you shouldn't ask questions from anyone in your dreams, because the answers are... well, weird. xd
So here it is:
My sister dreamt she went to school, it was just a normal school day like any other. But when at school, she noticed, that instead of people, all the students, her friends, enemies, even all the teachers, were different kind of vegetables!!!! rofl There were talking, walking human sized potatos, cucumbers, onions...
So, my sister went to this guy who was on her class and asked him (who happened to be a beetroot) why on earth had everyone turned into vegetables.
And the guy looked at my sister weirdly and answered: "You're one to talk when you're a radish yourself!"
Then she woke up.
My sister told me the reason why that guy was a beetroot in her dream was probably because he used to blush often and his friends said he looked like a beetroot then. But still, that everyone were vegetables.... rofl
