I was a little iffy when I saw the Siriano's Gold wrap dress in the cash shop for approximately 4 dollars (its pretty but hardly worth the cost), but I had to roll my eyes when I saw his latest pieces.
Can someone tell me why "high" fashion is so god forsaken ugly?
Anyone else think that these new pieces aren't worth what they are crack up to be?

I like both of the skirts, the hoodie and the blouse. And I don't think the wrap dresses were designed by Christian. They don't have his name on them. They are a tad on the expensive side, but they're actual designer (pixel) clothing for goodness' sake! Taking that into consideration and imagining what one of his real life designs would be worth compared to, say, something you can buy at some department store in the mall, I'd say they're quite a bargain.
I mean, I sure as heck wouldn't buy a $500 designer shirt just for the sake of having a designer shirt either. All I'm saying is that, when put in perspective, it's not that bad. And pretty or ugly is a matter of personal taste. I'm not really a fan of the pinstripe suit, but I think all the other item's Christian has designed for us are great. Of course, I've always liked haute couture/avant garde fashion since I was a young teenager.

I really do not like the items of the cash shop...
They look to gross to me and that Christian dude does not have a sense of fashion....

Depends. His dresses are nice.
The fur shirt is the ONLY thing I like in the cash shop that is his.
I'm a sucker for fur rimmed hoods.

I personally am not a fan of all of Christian's new stuff, but there are plenty of people who would be. He's bringing in real life fashion and I see items similar to those he designed in the stores, since that seems to be the style these days. There are some designer items that are absolutely hideous, but there are some very nice pieces as well.
And I do think Eru is right when saying pretty and ugly is a matter of personal taste.
