That shadow Giratina looks pretty freakin' awesome. O_O
On the GTS yesterday I saw a picture of a Shiny Deoxys that the game said was a Giratina... are the two related in some way? ^^;

I believe its true, after all it is about time for the ever present extra game to come in xd i still have my yellow version and play it every once in a while to do the surfing pkachu minigame whee

Giratina's new form does have a certain aura of badassery. But as a rule, I am biased to hate Generation IV legendaries that aren't Shaymin or Palkia.
I'll be getting it.
Now reveal those damn Gold & Silver remakes already, Nintendo. D:<

I'm not surprised about the trio-making or the new-form-making. If they stay true to Pokemon history, Thunder Yellow or Water Blue should be making an appearance soon too.
When I first saw Giratina, I thought "What the heck? They've never evolved Fossils in further generations before". Turns out Giratina is it's own Pokemon, but looks a hell of a lot like Anorith/Armaldo's chain. I'm glad they're adding distinctions because I keep mixing up the sprites. ._.

It sounds more like the changes to Regigigas, Giratina, and Shaymin are more like the differences between Deoxys forms than simple sprite edits.

That's Giratina's Origin form. It has two, because Giratina's probably the most badass of legendaries since Mewtwo (Yes, even more so than Deoxys. I'm not going to be afraid of a space virus until I see its magic powers, but I'll certainly be afraid of a giant ghost dragon snake covered in shadows right off). Now, speculation says that standing before Giratina is Cyrus, the leader of team Galactic.

thank you for giving me something to look foward to as much as i did for brawl. mrgreen
why are dialga and palkia standing in the background of the picture with giratina shadow aura? (confusing for me) i dont really like those new clothes.

The magazine scan looks legit. As for the pixel count for the player being bigger... Have you forgotten the game's more 3D look, and how the screen is focused a bit more north than the player, bringing him closer to the foreground?
Anyway, I'm looking forward to the release of this game... which.. in Japan, is predicted to be in Fall, according to this scan.
