This is the castle of the Water Nations. This is where the King and Queen live of the realm. Don't let the name fool you, Oscurità Corallo, or Dark Coral, isn't what the castle is made of. The Castle is really the shell of an ancient volcano. Now carved, and transformed into this highly defendable castle.

The awkward thing about having the castle there is that there are people living around and above the castle. When the volcano erupted, it created one of the biggest islands in the ocean. Before the castle was built, people moved from the now magma and housing waste as the base, and move up to the island. When it was finally cleaned up, some came back down, and others stayed on top. When the castle was carved out, because Gratia Regalis became the Royal City. The new head of the state didn't want to move these families that have lived there for decades, and its been like that ever since.

There are five entrances. The top entrance, from the volcano. There are also entrances going to each compass point, North, South, West, and East.

((Yes.))
Kiro got passed the guards at the door. It was a bad sign, the Royals must already know about the disaster at the Capitol. He quickly found his way to the throne room, and waited for his appointed time.

Kiro walked in after he was announced. It was amazing how big it was in this room. As he approached the throne, he was greeted by the Queen. After Kiro told the Queen about what happened, she only shook her head."The Castle at the Capitol is no longer. The Fire Nation burnt it down. There is no way to stop a war with Fire after this abomination." Kiro sighed. It has started. "Then, ma'am, I take your leave to return to the Capitol to see if I can help with anything." He turned on his heals and headed back to the Capitol City.

Serena wandered about, trying to find the mysterious man who was supposed to give her a tour but could not find him.
"...I wonder who he was anyway." she muttered, and crashed into a wall.
"OWW!" she had crashed into the castle's wall, and, being new and all, went inside the castle, in which she crashed into Kiro.
O.O
"Ack! I'm sorry!" she said, curtsying briefly, and ran out of the castle.

Taun's small boat slid up onto the shore of Oscurità Corallo. He got out of the boat and tied it to a pier nearby. All the time he was thinking about his humiliation in the Air Capital. I'm so stupid! He berated himself as he walked towards the tunnel that led to the Atrium. I should have seen this coming! I'm such a fool!

Zig had followed Taun from above, but she hadn't come down to land in his vessel. Instead she had taken the time on the journey to contemplate what she was now calling 'The Loyalty Issue'. She certainly wanted to avoid war at all costs, but if push came to shove what would she do? He country needed her, but she didn't want to fight a friend. I suppose if water tried to attack our mountains then I would fight, but if we are ones doing the invading I'd rather not participate. Since the island which housed their destination had drawn near Zig dove closer to the water, allowing it to skim her toes until she reached the beach. Then, she stepped on to the ground and caught up to Taun. "Hey," she began. "The prince and princess asked me to come along. You know they didn't mean to embarrass you or anything. They just have to make sure any deals they make are completely legit."

Zig's words tugged him out of his reverie. "Zig?" he asked wondering if it was really her. "I'm such an idiot! I should have seen this coming!" He said angrily. "No matter what I do, I always end up failing! I could've help more at the castle! I could've helped save the inn! And now this!" He said as he punched a nearby wall. "A new war is going to break out and it's all my fault!"

"This is not your fault. It's the fault of whoever set the castle on fire and attacked Palpisol. You couldn't have stopped any of these things from happening and neither could I or anyone else. At least you're trying to prevent the war from happening. You are doing something to help and that's more than some people can say." Zig walked over to Taun and put one arm around his shoulders. "By the way, what you said about us being close friends I completely agree with. I don't make friends easily, but for some reason you're a better friend than I've ever had."

Taun looked over at Zig, "You really mean it?" He looked back down at the ground and thought for a moment. He then looked back at Zig and said. "So they sent you to make sure that I don't destroy anything? Well come on let's get this over with." He turned around and walked into the hallway.

"Of course I mean it. I wouldn't say something like that unless I meant it," Zig replied as she walked down the tunnel with Taun. "I don't think they believed you'd destroy anything, but I'm sure they hoped that their words didn't have a negative effect on you."

Taun smiled as he walked down the familiar hallway, gazing at the murals on the walls. "I'm just worried about Princess Xin or Kiro, they never really liked me that much." They came to a fork in the hallway and Taun said, "Left here."

((I know it looks like a straight hallway int the picture, I'm just buying us some time so they can get on eventually))

"That may be an issue, but hopefully they'll listen to reason. Illusion ended up listening despite her rage so there is a chance," Zig said. She turned as Taun directed and looked at the decor. She always liked looking at other culture's artwork.

[[But I don't think either of them are here right now (as in their characters aren't in the castle) so should we find out they aren't at here and then search for the elsewhere?]]
PostPosted: Mon Sep 01, 2008 2:42 pm

((Alright I'll look for them in the other posts, I know that Kiro is in the castle I don't know about the Princess))

Taun approached that set of large double doors, covered in bas-relief figures showing the history of the Water Kingdom. He pushed the doors open and walked into the atrium. It was empty. "Well, I guess the party's over." He said with a smile.

[[I'll look around too.]]

Zig was impressed by the doors and would've liked to observe them more closely, but of course what was within the room was more important. Or not... Evidently Kiro wasn't here and neither was Xin. "Seems like it. I guess we'll have to find them elsewhere..." said Zig.
