Stone Gaze - The Book of Orochi Secrets
This book containsall the history of the Orochi clan.It has info dating from the birth of the First Orohi to most recent culture updates. Inside these pages there is knowledge only known to some of th Orochi elders and some even hidden from them. The book is written in old runes from ancient Orochi civilizaton and it is hidden deep within the Orochi temple kept from the hands of any undesireable people. It has a weird stone cover and sincriptions. The book will only open its lock to one with Orochi blood in him. He must give his blood to the book.

Chapter 1: Origins and history
-A long time ago, in a forest near the Rice Country lived a clan of Shinobi.They had no special abilty whatsoever except for the fact that they specialized themselves in using Snake poisons to kill their enemies. The forest near their livng placed served them as hunting grounds for it was a Sanctuary for snakes. Rumors had it that deep withing the forest there was an ancient temple dedicated to the snake folk. It was said that there lied a civilazation of ancient creatures, snakes with unimaginable power governed by two great snakes.
The clan grew more and more curious about these rumors until they could ignore them no more. They chose from their warriors the most expirience one and sent him to explore where none of them had ventured yet. In the center of the forest breaking through the canopy high there was an ancient Pyramid dedicated to the protectors of the forest. As the man entered he found himself sorrounded by snakes of unimaginable appearance and extraordinary sizes... there upon the top of the Pyramid lied a room decorated with carvings. Inside the room there where two gigantic snakes the Twin protectors...
The First was O-Kagashi, a seven heade giant white snake with a ferocious look on his face yet a curious heart. Its scales white like clouds, glitsening under light,they seemed to change color as the lights flickered His seven sets of eyes, Yellow with a clear look.
To O-Kagashi's right there was his brother, Quetzacoalt. His Body was the complete oposite of O-Kagashi to a point. The snake was white of color yet beneath every scale there was a small feather coming out. On its head the snake had some sort of feather crown and the creature had wings. The thing that made him his opposite was that Instead of having Seven heads.. Quetzacoalt had seven tails, each one with feathers at its end. The feathers where colored with Crimson red, a Greenish jade and Cerulean blue.
These two snakes each held a domain in the forest. O-Kagashi represented Earth, his strong bulk body and all the heads to keep a look everywhere. Quetzacoalt was the Sky, His feathers and Wings giving him the ability to fly like any dragon.
As The warrior entered their pressence he fell to his feet in reverence. The Ancient snakes knew of the Shinobi clans existence and where willing to help them and grant them their powers in exchange of their reverence. And so t was that the warrior that day Drank from the blood of both O-Kagashi and Quetzacoalt gaining the strength and agility of a snake and the ability to communicate with them.
The clan was happy by gaining such favor from these creatures but these worshipers grew power hungry with each passing victory from the clan. The Snake warrior told everyone how drinking their blood he was granted their strength, and Thus it was decided by the clan to kill the beasts and gather its blood to make their clan the most powerful.
The storming of the temple began with victory. Every snake creature protecting The twin Brothers fell at the massive number of Shinobi until only a few remained. The Twin brothers stepped into the battle coming out of the Temple and charging down through the Giant steps of the Pyramid taking with them all those they could. The Twin brothers where to strong for the Shinobi and their warriors where being slaugthered so their plan s changed. Thi needed to seal thes Monsters away forever until they found a way to control them.
Before the sealing technique was performed Quetzacoalt found the snake warrior an with a last attack He poisoned the warrior. The using all his chakra he transfered his power into the Shinobis trying to seal him The Chakra began to transform each and every one of them into snake like humans, Their body became pale like that of the snake's skin, Their eyes turned yellow and slithed like those of the snake's and their hair became flesh and scales as it turned into living snakes.They were turned into monsters.. Gorgons they where called.
Those unaffected by Quetzacoalt's Chakra where killed by O-Kagashi's gaze. Turning their bodies to stone where they stood Before the creature was sealed in the temple. The Survivors, now turned into monstrosities could not control their powers having all the creature's ability, even it's stone gaze, turned each other to stone till only a handfull of them remained. Between them There was the snake's chosen warrior...His name O-Naga.
Placing strong Fuin Jutsus around the Inside of the Temple to prevent the Creature's escape they sworn to protect the temple from anyone daring to approach it. Without the Snake spirits, the forest grew wild and putrefactid until it became a swamp forest. The Temple each pasing century less regarded and the mutation of the clan slowly lost in the genetics of each generation until only small patches of the clans people where born with sings of Quetzacoalt's chakra.
The leaders of the clan began to hide the truth to protect the secret and the humiliaton of not having been blessed but cursed by the ancient snakes. Wosrship to the Twin snakes was re established and histories invented about their first ones. No one knew what happened to O-Naga as he was called, the First . Legends built upon him and his Wife O-Dusa as the Fathers of the clan where held in their culture but nothing else was known.
Now the clan lives in the swamp forest, Their hair decorated with Dreadlocks as symbols of their Heritage from the Gorgons. Their abilities reduced to a minimum and hidden from all other Societies because of their appearance.
It is believed that the Body of Quetzacoalt remains hidden in the Temple somewhere, that he is alive waiting for his moment of strength to return to his children...
"- The Clan's name Orochi came to be with their first contact with the exterior world. As the Gorgons Where atacked by other Shinobi clans with no success these clans Called them The Orochi's do to their snake appearance, their snakes for hair and one of their Symbols , the Seven headed snake.
The Name the other placed upon them made refference to an old Japanese Folktale. Where Three great Heroes although Friends became enemies by Jealousy. The Traitor, Called Orochimaru , out of Jealousy of his best friend Jiraya and His Wife Tsunade's success, looked for power in evil ways and turned Himself into an Eigth headed snake and Killed Jiraya. But Jiraya was resurcted by His wife and together they destroyed the creature."

Chapter 5: Story so far...[ a summarry of the events of the Orochi clan in the guild to date]
Important Characters:
Seshiro- current genin at Shimagakure
Sachiriku- Seshiro's brother and Shinobi at Shima
Shisei- current academy student, son of a banished Orochi woman
Oboro- Seshiro & Sachiriku's older brother
Oshu- Orochi elder, 1 of 7
Kokusho- Orochi high elder, head of clan and military leader
Events:
The Orochi clan was kept secret from the world for a long time only appearing when they thought it be needed until a few years ago. Seshiro, a young aspiring lad from the clan son of two famous clan researchers was sent by his brother Sachiriku to search out a Shinobi gathering in a secret island telling him it was for the best. Since Their parents where currently dissappeared he obeyed his brother and arrived in no time on the island.
Upon arrival he went on to search for the Leader or Kage Uchiha Ichi but as things had gone always with his family accidents where bound to happen. A weird snake of uknown origin and not native to the island bit Seshiro and what could have been a disaster turned into a certain miracle. Wih the medical help of Tenmoki Yuki and an experimental jutsu Seshiro was saved but not without awakening his long dormant Snake DNA turning him into the first full strength Orochi... or so he though.
His brother Sachiriku Later arrived at the village to look for his brother carryig along a weird snake in a jar, Tsuchinoko, sent to him by their parents for no reason at all. After staying a while in Shima Sachiriku offered his service to the Kage while Seshiro attended the Academy becoming officially a Shima member.
The truth under the whole thing was different though. Seshiro's parents wherent exactly away. His father was dead and his mother no one knew where she was althoug Sachiriku believed she must have been alive because of the snake she sent. Sachiriku was an Orochi spy for Kokusho, The clan survived stealing weapons and knowledge from other shinobi and later wiping them out so that their existence remained secret as it had always been. Sachiriku was so appointed to Shima for the job yet the shady situatiin with his parents caused him to take Seshiro with him, Seshiro being Oblivious to all this.
Their older brother Oboro was more knowledgeable of the situation. He knew the cause of their parents dissapperance and was bount to protect his brothers at all cause and clear his fathers name. Their father had been Killed by the elders because of his research. He had promised a weapon for the Orochi said to be found in the Old Dungeouns of their village bu when he failed to release it he became the mockery of the clan and driven mad by it he challenged the elders only to be killed.
His wife knew what had gone wrong in the experiment but refuse to say anything not wanting to give the elders the means o cruel war. and so she escaped leaving her children but not without threatening Kokusho to reveal th clans secrets to the world if harm came to them.
Knowing this Oboro became obsessed with his parents researche for a weapon till he managed to learn about the poison ritual in ancient scripts and the creature sealed in the temple. Loking for power he used the ritual on himself awakening his DNA. Yet his obsession was too much and he, in a desperate act to give his brother power, was the one who set the Snake to bite Seshiro.
After almost two years of observing Oboro managed to persuade Kokusho to trust this ritual and so the ritual was established once again as it was said in the old books. All the while Sachiriku planned inside Shima his revenge on Kokusho. He passed ifo on the great medicl skills of the shinobi in the village while he kept informed the Kage of the clan's doings playing as a double agent until Oboro attacked him. Oboro trying to steal Tsuchinoko from Sachiriku almost killed him because he was sure the snake was a key component to freeing the creature in the pyramid. In the incident Sachiriku was poisoned and instead of turning more powerful , he transformed into and Akumu. All was in vain for Oboro since the snake was lost.
They needed an antidote to try and experiment a cure for Sachiriku's beastly formed So Seshiro took the Kage to their village to bargain. Kokusho was enraged at havig outsiders in the village but he used this chance to grab hold of the bargain. In exchange for the antidote, he asked for a power booster for is army... a seal. and so it was carried out.
Seshiro and Sachiriku were traitors they had to be eliminated, as well as those who knew he location of the village, so a group of asassins was sent. Yet the attack was a failure although the Orochi's grabbed hold of the seal as a bonus.Oshu tried to stop Kokusho's asassination plan and warned Shima about it but was sent to prison for it.
And so Sachiriku informed the village of how Kokusho was raising an army of Akumu monsters to attack nearby countries and seize power with Oboro at his right side, but was all this true?
While all this happened the young Shisei, uknown to his own clan arrived to Shima, to rejoice in the fact that he really was part of something bigger, of actual clan but find himself in the dilema of the clan posibly bein annihalated by the people who had just taken him in including a fellow Orochi.
Seshiro Prepared to battle his own people...
Sachiriku rejoiced in a chance at his revenge...
Oboro saw this as the perfect distraction to Kokusho so he could steal more info about his parents research and become even more powerful, yet he had alreay even lost the purpose of it...
Kokusho had a handful trying to control the failure Akumu creations from the Poison ritual, too busy to even focus on his normal shinobi.....so was there really an army?
no one knew what was really going on with the clan...
