Feathersong's eyes shone as he woke up in the morning. Slowly he scanned the den for the familiar silver pelt when a flash of an unfamiliar shade of silver appeared. It was one of his clanmates. Eagerly she asked if he wanted to share a water vole with her. Giving up on the search for the one he loved he padded behind her off to the freshkill pile.

Silverriver had been buried among the pelts of countless other warriors. They had decided that 'burying' her would be the best plan. So, she woke up, heat literally suffocating her. The silver she-cat wanted to choke, because around her were other pelts. Different colors and shades. The she-cat blinked in confusion, balling out of the nest in a matter of minutes. Her excitement and rush to get out of there was: Feathersong.

She had not seen his silver pelt, black face, and beautiful green eyes. She hadn't seen him in the den at all. It didn't worry her, maybe he was awake and waiting for her. Smiling brightly to herself, paw tingling with excitement, Silverriver veered to a distant left, where the fresh-kill was all bundled up into a neat pile.

But, she wasn't prepared to see what she had never, ever, in her life, see.

Beyond the fresh-kill pile, tail swishing gingerly, was Feathersong. Though, another silver coat was next to him. Another she-cat. They looked happy, and they were sharing a water vole together.

CRACK.

It was like the noise emanated from across the camp. Silverriver's saddened eyes, the noise that was could almost be heard from her heart. Her tracks stopped dead, shock and grief overwhelming her. Tears almost surfaced to her eyes.

The silver she-cat knew was this met. He didn't care for her. He just wanted to... Oh, how could she put it? Score. Oh yes, that.

And when she had thought he really loved her, and she really loved him back.

He broke it.

Whirling around, anger fluffing her entire body up, grief prickling her fur like pine-needles, the she-cat had a plan in mind. He would play for this, Oh, she would make sure of it.

Feathersong, completely unaware of Silverriver watching, pushed the vole away after his first bite. He didn't know why this she-cat was acting the way she was but he ignored it. Turning around his eyes hungrily searched for that familiar pelt but somehow he just couldn't find it. As he got up to pad over the the warriors' den she came back and practically begged for him to go hunting with her. Without much of a choice Feathersong reluctantly followed after her through the tunnel.

Soon they had caught some prey and Feathersong deposited his down onto the pile. Still, he seached but couldn't find her pelt. Slowly with his tail trailing he headed over in the warriors' den.

Silverriver had found her own place to hide. The she-cat was between the trees, a small pond ahead of her. This area was formed into a small circle, and it was obviously a place she knew. For this was where she was planning. Planning of his breakdown, planning on how to break his precious heart.

Feathersong kept his eyes at the entrance of the den waiting for Silverriver to get back. Where was she? Soon his eyes caught what he thought was her familiar silver pelt. Eagerly he dashed foward and barely skidded to a halt when he saw who it really was. Dismay hung over him. It was that she-cat that wouldn't leave him alone.

When she was done with her mischievous plottings, the she-cat left her secret hiding place, feeling triumph glitter in her eyes. Though as she left she saw Feathersong run into that same she-cat, and that just made her heart break more. Eyes almost streaming, Silverriver snorted angrily, glaring viciously at Feathersong, and swung around walking back near the pine trees that surrounded her hiding place.

Feathersong muttered under his breath and padded away from the she-cat. Annoyance was the vibe a cat from miles away could sense from him, fore he was annoyed. Soon his eyes spotted another she-cat that dashed for the pine trees. Could it be Silverriver? Slowly he padded towards where he saw her, as he got closer his pace quikened until it was a dash for the trees.

And him following her was one of the things she didn't want. Silverriver padding further into the trees, hiding behind one, waiting until his pelt came into full view. Back arched, lips drawn into a ferociously snarl, she stood out. "What do you want?" She growled, staring at him with powerful hatred.

((I'm too lazy to update teh title. XD I'll just change when we completely finish. =3))

Feathersong's emerald green eyes were filled with so much shock it seemed to crack the tension in the air. What was they matter with her? What he done wrong to deserve this? "What are you talking about?" He replied, feeling a snarl rising in his throat. He looked at her blue eyes that at one point shone with love were shining in pure, utter hatred.

Her fur ruffled up violently, a glare shining from her eyes. The blue met the green eyes, and Silverriver hissed. "Oh, going with that she-cat I suppose..." Her eyes reflected utter sadness. "I guess you loved me for fun, and after all... I loved you to the point of my final decision."
Silverriver turned around, looking away from him with pure anger. "... Kits." She whispered, barely audible for him to hear. And, with one quick heave, she ran.

Feathersong practically broke down with pain. His legs couldn't hold him any longer as he stumbled to the ground. He never loved her, she just came upon him. He never asked for it either. What he felt for Silverriver was real. Was. That was then and this was now. If she wanted to play this game then he would too. Even though doing this was against his will he turned and padded away. Opposite of the direction she had gone...

Light fluttered from underneath the leaves and Feathersong felt happy and reenergized. As he was about to go find Silverriver again he remebered the other day's work. Oh yeah. He though grimly to himself. Full of hatred and negative vibes he padded back into camp. And who was there to greet him? Her of course. The silver she-cat came upon him and asked where he had been. Obviously not caring for an answer she led him out of camp like practically the moment he got in and took him to go hunting.

All throughout the day, Silverriver watched him. Even after their little fight, short as it had been, she couldn't stop watching him. Then that she-cat would interfere. She actually seemed to look at her and smile. That just caused her to cry harder. Though, how would he care? He loved that other she-cat more. More than her, more than... anyone.

So she would hurt him back, exactly the way he hurt her.

Pulling herself up from her deciding thoughts Silverriver smiled. A brown tom was wandering around the camp, enjoying himself. He was eating a fish, and she padded up to him with a small strut to her body. Silverriver looked into his green eyes, winking rather uncontrollably.

"May I join you?" He nodded, scooting the fish slightly towards her.

As soon as they returned to camp Feathersong made a run for it. He was sick and tired of this she-cat following him almost even stalking him. Slowly he he walked into camp ad searched longingly for Silverriver. He would apologize to her so they could be happy again. But as soon as he spotted her he noticed she was having a fish with another tom. This infuriated him. All the thoughts of apologizing left his mind and he stalked away. He'd rather be with the annoying she-cat then that rotton fleabag who cared nothing about his feelings.

She didn't pay any attention to the cat who was stalking away. She didn't care about him at all. He could go sulk on his own, she wasn't going to go and comfort him like he did her. This is what she was doing. She was enjoying her time with another tom. This tom, supposedly, had been trying to get her attention for so long. Maybe, just maybe, him and her could start their own family.

Smiling again, with such relish it almost scared her, Silverriver stood up and coaxed him away. She wasn't aware of the hunger that shown in his eyes. Not aware of it as he followed her happily, a wide, scary grin across his face. Swishing her tail she led him further into the forest, turning her head every few times to look back at him.

(( I think you might guess what might happen, unless Feathersong can save her! XD -shot, because she had an idea for the plot- ))
