Story

Hello everyone this is a place where a lot of strange things can happen. The island is for those who just can't fit in with society or those who just don't want to. The year is 2010 and the world is almost perfect, the countries are still at war with each other and people can't get along, but enough with that.

Anyone is welcomed to the island, if you're a ninja who studies with chakra or a pirate who is in command of a ship come on, a demon or an angel come on, a vampire, a werewolf, a pixie, a dragon, an elf, a half ling of sorts come on. We don't discriminate against anyone or anything you can even be human. Do you study magic, or are a mechanic of amazing proportions who has a giant robot who he can call with a watch to battle giants monster...hehe...come on.

The island is hovering over Russia, access to and from it can be attained from portals set in different parts of the island that only lead to the island and off. Russia and other major powers in the world are not happy with the island's presence and once in awhile fire missiles to try and destroy the island, please don't make any near military upset. Do not worry though a barrier has been set up to prevent the island's...immediate...destruction. Sadly though we are not above the law and have to obey the rules of the world...on the world. As long as you stay on the island most of all rules are null and void.

The island is a community and almost feels like a living breathing structure, the air is pure and the water clean. Alien and non alien foods can be found on the island and festivals are held every now and again.

It is a mystery on how the island is able to stay afloat and nobody, but a select few actually know the true secret of the island. Many people come to live on the island to find the true secret of the power it holds.

Short Bio: Zorlan comes from a planet far off, he heard from the galactic press that a strange island could be seen floating above a continent on Earth and got interested. The press also said that the island has a great mystery that everyone wants to know about. Zorlan lives in the town of Aquil since it is surrounded by a large body of water and his planet was just a large body of water. He enjoys people and find everyone unique in their own way. He enjoys conversations and dislikes quiet people.
Appearance: Zorlan stands at the height of 6'2" his skin is dark blue and he has intriquet tattoos around each of his eyes and running down the lengths of each of his arms they seem to pulse lightly. His eyes are a brilliant navy blue and his hair seems to move at the slightest of winds which makes it flow like water. He can usually be seen everyday with a different hair style it can either be short or long, he can choose.

Short Bio: Well..... they're twins.... When they were ten years old their parents died protecting them from a monstrous beast that invaded their home, which is on the outskirts of town and very near the forest. Everyone who knows them looks at them with pity, they should be in an orphanage, but every time someone comes to get them they hide in their "secret place" until they are gone. They use whatever they can find to trade with merchants... who often will give them free or very cheap items if they live around, and know their story. They are both very kind and well like by the people in the city........ they still live in the old house that their parents owned.... but now the windows are broke and everything looks old and dust covered.... no one other than orphanage workers go near the house unless they have to.

Abilities/powers: Maximus Tyronus has the ability to spread his body across great distances or infest areas with his very being. The Kansen are known as a Virus more then a race, often taking up large spaces of land with their spores. Kansen are self dependent, able to reproduce lesser beings from themselves. Tyronus has two forms, his infections form where he infects large areas, creating creatures that share one mind like a fungus, his mind. His other form is a strange beast suited for battle against those who threaten his existence. His infectious powers contribute to his abilities in his single organism mode.
Short Bio: Tyronus is the last of his kind, able to survive by living on the island after the Great Purge during the Ice Age. Kansen eggs take millenniums to hatch, explaining why he was only 937 years old, a child compared to his ancestors. Knowing he is the last, Tyronus stays in the deep ruins and inhabits a large portion of the island's deep temples with his infection, feeding on creatures that don't catch his interests or treasure hunters looking for the greatest prize. Tyronus is a kind creature, the only reason why he kills is to keep his presence a secret. He wasn't the only survivor of the Great Purge, others survived on the island, but were snuffed out by other inhabitants for their infectious ways of life. Tyronus now seeks to find enlightenment from humans he finds interesting that venture into his home, those who respect his kind of beauty he creates within the labyrinths of the ruins.
Appearance: When he is not in his individual form, Tyronus takes the form of a gigantic green beast. This beast feeds on corpses and meat, living off the decay of flesh and bone. This beast has very little movement, being attached to the infection that spreads from his body like a plant. Short Bio: Before she came to earth, Riley has been living on her home planet in another galaxy. Her parents were going to marry her off that summer, but she decided that leaving her home would be best for her. She wanted to fall in love. That's when she heard about Earth and it's island for the gifted. When she reached the island, she explored everything. That's when she found Opoi. A place where there where others like her only with different powers. She knew she was at home. Riley loves to explore and make new friends. The only thing she doesn't like is to talk about her family back home.
Appearance: Riley is 5"8' and her skin is white and smooth. Her hair is pitch black but she has natural red highlights. Her eyes are a bright red in the daytime but by night they turn black.

Short Bio: she hates killing people, but is skilled at it, so she does when given a good reason and paid well. she loves animals and is a little Gothic. she likes to ruins most and lives on the outer edge. when she has nothing else to do, she explores deeper into them.

Short Bio: Midnyte was orphaned as a child due to her parents death by a pirate raid on their homeland. A werewolf by the name of Selenia. Midnyte and her twin, Shoare, were the sole survivors off this terrible happening. They were severely injured and even more severely burned upon escape when they found a young elf. This elf was named Wystin. Wystin was adept at healing majick and healed them back into living condition. From that day on, Midnyte vowed to become a pirate and kill the destroyer of her village, Selenia and her wolves. Shoare and Wystin vowed to join her on this quest for revenge. They used the town's only remaining structure, her father's fishing boat, as their pirate ship. Even at that young age, they flew the flag of the Jolly Roger. Around 16, Midnyte fell in love with her elven savior. But, he proved more trouble than they could afford to deal with. He had not told them that he was a runaway prince. He had run because his family was trying to kill him so that his "more competent" older sister could obtain the throne, and now that he had run away, they were trying to sniff him out and end his incompetent life. By the time Midnyte reached twenty, they were successful. She had tried to end her life, but her twin stopped her with the memory of her goal. Age 25 rolled around and she destroyed Selenia. Now, two years later, she still hasn't forgotten her old lover or her final accomplishment. Even with so much life left, she believes that she has already done what she was brought here to accomplish and now she acts like there is nothing left besides booze and men.
Appearance: Midnyte is around 5'9" with lustrous onyx hair that has two streaks of platinum in the front. Her skin is like porcelain and her eyes are golden with a hint of depression. She has small, cream colored cat ears upon her head along with a similarly colored tail on her rear. Three thin scars cross over her left eye as a reminder that Selenia almost gouged her eye out. She has fire tattooed near both wrists and both ankles and is generally found wearing a gray striped shirt with black Capri pants. She wears a black ribbon around her neck in mourning for Wystin and for various other meaningful reasons that she wouldn't care to explain. She wears steel toed boots that also mean something, but we think that she made up the meaning while she was drunk.

Personailty: Tough, Trusting, Cunning, Determined, Adventurous and Friendly but if you double cross her you're pretty much doomed.

Abilities/powers: Kalliope can use her voice to control machinery and has a brilliant mind with machinery -She could even be called a genius-
Short Bio: The Siren clan from which Kalliope hails began in the Baltic sea. The Siren's voice was alluring, it's how Sirens gained their horrible reputations. Their voices were once able to take over the minds of land dwellers, hypnotize them. Over time the Sirens old ways seemed to die away and move on in time with land dwellers. Some Sirens even proffered living on land with humans. The humans progress was slow in caparison to that of the Siren's new technology. Only recently though have Siren's powers begun to transition towards technology.
Kalliope was born during the beginning of this transition period. The Sirens were curious to how this new power was developing and studied several embryos with different genes. Kalliope was one of the few babies that lived and the only one who's powers were completely changed, which caused serious problems. She couldn't last long underwater, she could compared to a human but overtime her body rejected the underwater world, she wouldn't be able to live in the sea with the rest of the clan. The experiment was a failure, so much so that the project was terminated, they decided to let the powers change over time and not try to accelerate them.
Kalliope at the age 9 was expelled from her underwater home in the Baltic Sea with utterly no place to go. She had been an unwanted child and was why she was subject to the experiment, she knew not who her parents were and had never set foot on land before. At a loss she sought out other Sirens who had turned to land as their home but found none. She traveled alone making a living off of fixing simple human technology for donations. In her search for other Sirens and Siren clans she came across the island when she was 11. She found few Siren's here but she did managed to feel at home in one town, Yuris. A mechanic in a small shop found her skills with technology to be outstanding and agreed to take her in. She has lived and has been working in Yuris for the last 7 years, it was only recently that she decided to leave the shop and be a free lance mechanic around town. She has even thought about extending her travels around the rest of the island. Being cooped up in a mechanics shop for 7 years and a lab for 9 years before that she realized she wanted a little more adventure in her life.
Appearance: Kalliope is about 5'9" with long light blue hair and blue eyes, traits carried on through her Siren heritage. Although most sirens have fins on their arms and legs, Kalliope was born with none. Her skin is also a peachy tan compared to the pale silver/blue of her Siren clan.There are faint scars on her neck from where the gills she was born with have since closed up. She wears a small blue pendant around her neck which is what allowed her to stay underwater for all those years since her gills closed up. {Kalliope}

Short Bio: Laz was born in Utopia and lived an ordinary life. He was the middle of five sons. At age 10, he went with two of his brothers to explore the forest, since they were children and danger entrances them. However they encountered a group of strong monsters and his brothers were injured. They managed to fight them off but at great expense. Lazarus, the only one able to walk, was sent to go to the nearest shrine and pick up potion. Unfortunately he didn't know the way and spent too much time searching for it. By the time he got back, one of his brothers had died while the other was about to do the same. The brother survived, but the death of the other had shook Lazarus, who believed that if he had only been faster, he would have been saved. So Lazarus devoted himself to the forest, helping those in need with the water from the shrines. Soon his other brothers joined in and they used one shrine as a 'base of operations.' They are known throughout Utopia as the fastest legs in the forest, delivering potion even into the city and beyond.

Personality: Growing up in mainstream New York, Pippa has always been very independant and to say she's streetwise would be a huge understatement. She is very smart and knows how to take care of herself, although her quick mouth and inquisitive nature can often lead her into trouble. She's pretty friendly and extremely talkative, and holds her family close to her heart.
Character type: Traveller, looking for a place to stay
Abilities/powers: The power of wingless flight, the power of communication with foreign bodies and the power to control and move reasonably small objects (pens, apples, pebbles)... She's also a very fast runner and is pretty handy with her hands, eg. cooking
Short Bio: Living with her parents and younger brother Jojo in a small apartment nestled amongst the hustle and bustle of the big city, Pippa has always yearned for adventure, and dreamt of life beyond the grey structures of the big apple. The other members of her family own no magical ties, and so were rightly astonished when the tiny toddler Pippa began to float across the kitchen instead of plod. They worked hard to keep her growing powers a secret, and although they provided a stable and loving home for Pippa and her brother, they refused to tackle the issue of her strange abilities, and so forbade her from using them outside the flat for fear of having her taken away from them. When, at the tender age of 10, she learnt of a mystical place where people who possessed special gifts were free to seek out their fortunes, she waved goodbye to her former life and set off to the Island. She still writes letters to them regularly and carries a picture of them in her bag where ever she goes.
Appearance: Pippa is small for her age, but what she lacks in size, she makes up for in cleverness. With a short brown crash of hair that sits untidily on her head and big, hazelnut eyes, people often make the mistake of calling her "a cute little dear", a mistake which they often live to regret.

Personality: cold and unforgiving to people who he has just met. Those who get to know him see him as a protective person with the highest respect for People. They even have called him a prankster of sorts.

Abilities/Powers: Can manipulate his form into three separate forms. Each for a different environment.
Short bio: Born in a Japanese DNA lab as a weapon to destroy the island and all on it. He escaped after changing into a state where all three forms were dominate, destroying the lab and leaving no living being in his path toward one of the portals, and freedom. After finally arriving he strayed near one of the temples deepest in the forest where he has stayed since. His presence kept a secret by the creatures patrolling the woods around him.
Appearance: His Woodland form has the torso of a gray wolf with a lions mane colored pitch black. His arms are that of a jaguar and his tail is a monkeys, a patch of rock hard skin making it like a maneuverable club. His head is that of a tigers with a fox ears. his aquatic form his a long thin spiny tail with a shark like torso connected to it by it's lower back. The wings of a stingray move him about, and long scaly arms rest where arms mainly rest. A hammerhead sharks head allows him mobile view due to the size eyes that cover it. Two on each side with three on top and the largest on the bottom, giving him 360 view. His final form is that of air, where a body and tail of phoenix provide the base. An eagles with with that of a ram's horns give him the appearance of the roc to those who have seen him in this form. His top set of wings are those of a falcon's. The bottom half that serve as his arms and legs are that of a bat's.

Personality: Ichinen was a very calm in his work, never panicing even when he died. He is a warrior, those without combat abilities he views as beneath him.

Abilities/powers: Kansen Regeneration, High Tech Weaponry, Mandalorian Rage, and Combat Expertise.
Short Bio: Ichinen before his death at the hands on Tyronus was a famous and feared Bounty Hunter. Every organization who had the money would hire him and he would get the job done. His last mission involved the capturing and transportation of a rare species called the Kansen to a Zoo in Utopia. He was killed by the beast and his remains were nothing but bone. Later on in fifty years, his body's remains were use by the creature to create a puppet named Tyro. This puppet severed its hand and created another clone. This clone's job was to help two twins gather wood, but after Tyro was absorbed by his master again, the clone inherited Ichinen's idetity. Now Ichinen has reclaimed his armor back within the ruins and looks to start up his career once again...
Appearance: Ichinen has a moderately strong build and stands at a six foot four height. He has brown hair and brown eyes, but they are hidden behind hdis armor.

Short Bio: Kohn was just a small boy when he experienced something that
changed his life. Something that most would call a miracle, but wasn't. He
had a friend, a spirit called Rephys. This spirit would play games with him.
It would keep him company and protect him from bullies until one day the
spirit disappeared. In desperation Kohn ran to find Rephys and ended up inside
a cave blocked by vampires. The vampires attacked him. Left for dead, beaten,
dragged through mud, half his limbs missing, and his soul. He finally saw
Rephys who apologized for his disappearance. At that point, Rephys merged
himself with Kohn to save his life. Since then they have never grown apart
and Kohn's body turned gray. Kohn's right eye turned gold and so did most
of his body parts. Attacked day in day out by his appearance and his
odd powers, he abandoned where he had lived. He vowed revenge and vowed to
kill everyone he saw as well as Rephys. His mind was warped into another
dimension ever since the fusion. It's as if he had lost his soul. Kohn had
entered the island in order to get rid of all the people who resided. He
felt he should be the only one living. The one special being on the planet.
Appearance: dark purple hair, orange eye on the right, green on the left.
Orange like metallic right arm. Orange like metallic left leg. His body is
wrapped in bandages, lots of them. His left hand has a gold bracelet that
is attached to his glove. The glove is linked to his right hand as well as
if he was in jail. Yet he can move freely?? It's sort of like spiritual
chains. He also wears a brown jacket to hide his bandages. His skin has
been burned and torn from the vampire and werewolves attacks.

Once she is angered to her limits though, this will only trigger the monstrous demonic traits she has had from her father. Cunning, feisty, and strong willed she can be very unbeatable but like anyone else, she has her weak points.

Short Bio: Lynn was born from two unique powerful individuals a stunning angelic Priestess of a mother and a Handsome Demonic of a Father. She never knew who she really was until she discovered her special skills herself accidentally. She lived and grew up in a Secluded wealthy Japanese family unknowing to many people outside that her family was actually that powerful. She was always persuaded by the people to become their priestess because of her healing powers but her parents just removed the memories of the people everytime they witness lynn's healing powers again. With the guidance of her parents she slowly developed and mastered her powers secretly until she decided she was ready to wander off and find herself and maybe something interesting, like maybe love? She was rather sick of the wealthy rich lifestyle and hated the feeling when many men try to impress her just because they know she's wealthy. In the end, Her parents werent quite fond of the idea of their daughter wandering off alone and where well aware that they have other enemies who would love to take this advantage so they kept a severe close watch on her. She is currently now living with her grandmother.
Appearance: Lynn is standing 5 foot 8, long jet black hair. She has a very fair creamy skin with almond shaped brown eyes. She loves wearing dark red lipstick. Although, she hated how many tried to hit on her but fail with no avail.

Short Bio: Luxor seemed to just be on the Island when it appeared, he doesn't talk about when he got there or how he got there, he is just there. If you ask him about his past he said this.
"I grew up poor and wanted a lot more out of life, I saw in a magazine about an island where anything can happen and what I wanted to happen was to own the island. Now I own the most richest town on the island and will not give it up to anyone or anything."
Appearance: Luxor is always seen wearing a tuxedo with long tails, either white or black depending on his mood. His face is oddly young for his age, but that is because of the surgery he gets everyone year at Yuris. He is a white male and stands at 5'4" very short, but very hot tempered. His hair is black with two white silver streaks running across the side of his head near his ears. He has a sharp features that almost make him look birdlike.

"For years, I have dwelled with in this labrynths. For years I have fed upon those who come here for the greatest prize. For years...I have been alone, the last of my kind..."

The beast was speaking to himself again, he always did when he sensed the rising of the sun outside. Tyronus's central body laid attached to the walls, ceiling, and floor of the underground ruins. His essence spread throughout the tomb like temple, making it seem like the entire deep ruins was the inside of a living creature. Technically it was a part of a creature, Tyronus. Those halls and room now served as his stomach, digesting all dead cells and bones of creatures that have wondered into his home. Traps lay in each room, a prize to set the trap. In each chamber,lays a treasure used to bait hunters into traps, killing them to nourish Tyronus. Never before has anyone ever avoided evey trap in order to get to the main chamber, where he kept himself. He was a fair creature, giving warnings to those who entered to turn back; Very few did.

"Now...Now is the time I see on what has advanced from the ashes of this island. Now...I may make myself known and vunerable, but now...I won't be alone."

Tyronus concentrated his essence to his chamger, infront of the central room where his mind lied within the ruins. Emerging from the organic floor, a human with a short brown hair dress in a dark brown robe. HIs face seemed emotionless, void of any feeling or thought. It was just an organic puppet, that could be used for whatever Tyronus wanted.

"Go now my puppet, see what those of flesh and bone have constructed to live. See what those of many of a kind have created upno my ancestors ashes!"

The puppet showed no agreement or disagreement, it only obeyed the puppeteer's command. The hollow shell jumped up and into the organic like ceiling to the surface far above the chamber. It was now the eyes and ears of Tyronus in the outside world, to learn what has happened over so many years. The darker world came into view as the shell of an organism was drawn to the dakness of the city, known as Dark Site. The puppet only stood at the edge, waiting for permission from Tyronus to advance further into the city.

Zorlan walked back up the stairs of the boat and went to the wheel, he pressed a button and a soft hum came from the boat. The boat suddenly lifted from the surface of the water and started to glided on top of it. "YAPI!" Zorlan said as he waved happily at other passengers of boats on his way, who waved back smiling. Zorlan was known in this city by a lot of people, he always helped those who needed food or those who just needed help
"Put these in stasis chamber so spoiling they won't be doing." Zorlan pulled his boat into the the nearby dock, the one closes to his house. With one hand he held his fishing rod and the other one he held his tank that was full of swimming fish. He nodded his head and smiled as people passed him by.
"Hey Zorlon! Looks like you got a good haul."
"You still look goofy to me man!"
"Zorlan my kids want to know when you'll be back?"
Zorlan stopped and talked to another fisherman who had just as many fish as Zorlan. "Let us count!" Zorlan and the man both sat down and started to count fish on the table, this was a contest to see who caught the most fish.
