I would strongly recommend against playing a version of MS that's not in your region. One of my two best friends, a 117 lvl WK, got IP banned from Global because he is a Hong Kong player and they put out a version of MS where he is. In Global, he was very well equipped, including a 118 att Morningstar, 7 dex, 7 acc lvl 100 boots, 11 att warrior glove, and Zakum helmet. He had to start completely over. I personally do not play Maple anymore, but I wouldn't go out of Global because Nexon has a VERY long history of doing things like this.

The admin stated that he doesn't want anything having to do with private servers on his site. I don't know anything about private servers, but if I were to play again, I'd just play Global. I don't know about the advantages over one over the other feature-wise, but I am sure Global has more people playing it, and it's the "official" one, w hich to me are the critical advantages.

Well, NX is free on Odin.
And as for the banning of Private Server disscussion on sleepywood...
Mr. Basil got introuble for having people mass spam odin's website so I think that could be a cause of the banning.
