Here's an idea I had while reading... considering Semei isn't dead after all... then whose burned body was sitting in the class room?
I believe it was the Loveless fighter unit, perhaps killed by Semei in an attempt to keep Ritsuka to himself. In vol 7, you get a few good looks at how screwed up Semei is.
1. Semei was threatened by the attention Ritsuka was giving to a pair of guppies, and killed them.
2. He purposly threw out Ritsuka's home made chocolate he had made for a friend. The card read, "I put my heart into making these. I hope you like them."
3. Semei said to Nisei, "Me and Ritsuka are the only humans in the world. You Nisei are simply a bird."
I beleive Semei killed the Loveless fighter unit, and replaced them with Soubi. By doing so, with Soubi still under the name of Beloved, Semei would have control over Ritsuka, focusing all of Ritsuka's love and attention back to himself. Semei isn't all there, let's face it, we know this from Kio and Soubi.
Maybe I was just getting too in-depth with the manga and got caried away, but I don't think so. What does everone else think?

It did past my thoughts (still do now in places actually) but it couldent be true cause also in volume 7 it points that Loveless fighter unit is in the school.
Although we dont know any information on if you can sense your fighter or not if they are alive or not, though if not then they are defently alive cause Ritsuka sensed his fighter at the school (though then again i dont see why 7 moons would move the dead body to their school for, they must be a bunch of sickos if they did.)
But i gotta say.. if he dosent have one then i do belive Seimei had killed him.
Lol at least you took notice to the reason why Seimei chucked the chocolates away though, a lot of people thought he had mysophobia(sp?) because he chucked them away or something.

that's a very good point, and you're exactly right about the chocolate and fish. seimei is wierd >.> however, in vol. 7 you do see the thread that attaches a sacrifice to his fighter and vice versa. so i think his fighter unit is out there somewhere. oooh maybe seimei used soubi to create a wordspell that made an illusion to make it LOOK like seimei died...but then that would contradict that there WAS a body there..hmmm. i wonder...did seimei have a twin? XD

As for the Seimei twin... that is weird cause.... sometimes i imagines Seimei having one eek though i dought it xd (but you never know, it is a huge hat trick and Loveless IS that kind of manga) althouuuuugh.. thinking back to past bits when Ritsuka was born you dident see any sign of a twin anywhere.. unless he was shipped off to somewhere el.... now thats my imagination speaking. xd

I think that's why he was all like, " I see you two have become friends" to Soubi when they met him in the library. :3 But then Seimei wouldn't know, like, half of all the warm fuzzyness they've done.
Yuiko + Seimei = BAMDEAD.

Yuiko + Seimei = BAMDEAD. Yea O-O i wonders if Seimei really truly knows what relationship Soubi and Ritsuka has to.
I eithier thinks:
a) he planned it
b) he knows
c) er... well.. if he dosent know then.. aww hell Soubi WATCH OUT D: though then again.. not really... pics (and what i think to) portray a rivilary between both Seimei and Soubi like sorta... Seimei: Mine <3 Soubi: :C (if that makes any sense.. ah i dunno... something like that one picture in that one Aoyagicest meme Seimei was all <333 to Ritsuka and Soubi was scowling.)
As sadistic as he is.. i see Seimei doing things the... fair way.. he aint no cheater... he is waaaaaaay to smart plus its not in his character to, he is like... Kaname from VK..... a fair player, a beutiful player a lovely killer : O C: (belive me.. if you've seen the image of Kaname kill then you will know.)
Maybe... maybe.. just oneday.. Seimei Soubi and Ritsuka will all live in peace..... c:
NOT
well... maybe in the land of... Ritsuka fluffynesss.... and future AUs and sex lollypops...

(I have no life.. >.o This post will probably be kind of long. I apologize in advance if I go off-topic, but my thoughts on this seem to fit in here.)
Soubi isn't Ritsuka's Fighter.. but he isn't Seimei's, either. If he hadn't been in so much pain when Yoji drove a nail through his hand, I would think he was some kind of special Zero or something. Also, Ritsu-sensei trained him specially, so there is definitely something odd about him and how he works in the Fighter/Sacrifice system.
As for Ritsuka and Seimei.. (I just told people to shut up so I could concentrate on writing this. xD It's too complicated!) if the real Loveless unit really was dead, then everything would add up. (It said he's alive, bla bla bla, but this is just a what if.) "Seimei," AKA Ritsuka's Fighter Unit, was killed by Septimal Moon. Ritsuka's brother Seimei was, apparently, a part of Septimal Moon. So if he killed the other "Seimei," then it would be true. "Seimei" was killed by Septimal Moon... And I hope that made sense. x.x; Anyway, the REAL Seimei knew that if he was dead to Ritsuka, then he would be the only thing on his mind. He knew from his personality that Ritsuka would do anything for him, and that he would forget about everyone else because life was nothing without Seimei. From all the things he did, such as throwing out the chocolate, killing the fish, et cetera, he didn't want Ritsuka caring about anyone else but him.
I'm not sure where Soubi fits into that. Maybe Seimei thought that Soubi would only worsen Ritsuka's obsession with him, or he never wanted Ritsuka to meet Soubi but knew that it needed to happen anyway. And maybe he learned of their relationship, and thought that it was going to far and decided that he NEEDED to be back in Ritsuka's life again so he would leave Soubi for him. But, Ritsuka is very sensitive about other people's feelings. When he learned about who Seimei really was, it obviously shocked him and maybe even made him doubt that Seimei was a good person. I think that if he had to choose between Seimei and Soubi.. he would choose Soubi. I dunno why, but it seems like that's what Ritsuka would do. Or, if he chose Seimei, he might regret it.
.....I made almost no sense. I'm sorry. D: I could go on and on and on about this, but it's hard to put my thoughts into words so I'll just stop. (Hahaha, now this will probably be all I think about today and I'll dream about it or something. xD If my thoughts start making sense, this post could get longer.)

You did make no sense D: (i joke. i joke)
I got the part about If he killed Ritsuka's "Seimei" then Seimei would technically be dead to Ritsuka. BUT not to everyone else. So it's still a lie because, to other people who had never seen Ritsuka' Seimei and only saw Seimei's "colder" side, Seimei would have just disapeared and talk of him dying, would, as mentioned above, be a lie. Because to them, Seimei never "died" (I'm repeating myself -_____- )
Hmm. I agree with your point when you said that having Soubi meet Ritsuka would have no positive value towards him. However, maybe he knew Ritsuka had those sensitve thoughts and predicted that Ritsuka wouldn't make it very far if no one was there to protect him...Maybe Seimei feared that the person who was coming to kill him was going to kill Ritsuka. Also, he probably didn't want his mother doing something crazy. Oh. Wait. Nevermind. If he really cared about that then he wouldn't have ordered Nisei to try to get his mother to try and kill Ritsuka. Hmmmm. Maybe Seimei was, like he said in vol. 7, trying to test Ritsuka's boundaries and breaking points. Maybe he was trying to test, not Ritsuka, but Soubi's ability to interfer with Ritsuka's relationship with his mother. But why would he do that?
P.S. About Soubi's ability to handle pain, I really think it's all in his training. I mean, if everyday you got beat up then wouldn't you get used to being beat up? I wouldn't know, though. I don't get beat up everyday. xD

Also it dident say anything about Seimei trying to get Nisei to kill Ritsuka to, Nisei aint faithful, like in volume 7 Nisei had said to Ritsuka Seimei hated him and not wanted to be near him, whilst it was only like a few minutes after Seimei confessed his obsession to Ritsuka, plus Nisei is independant to, i suspect Seimei DID send him to the house, but the whole making Misaki take drugs etc was down to Nisei himself.
And about Soubi's pain situation, yea i think he is like that because he was trained that way, one of the things that Soubi has gotta grow out of in his and Ritsuka's relationship and be more like a human rather than a machine.

Nisei probably only said that "Seimei hated him" just to screw with Ritsuka's mind. That's one key role in Spell Battles right? To use words to mentally (and physically ) confuse or hurt your enemy to weaken them.
Also I assumed that Nisei was working off Seimeis orders because in vol.5 he, to me, kind of reported back what seemed like a status report.. (trying to find a better word >< ) And Seimei didn't seem all that upset when Nisei tried to get his mother to kill Ritsuka.

Thats your opinion then not a fact, we still dont know what Seimei si up to, for all you know it could be some kind of test in which Seimei seems to love to do.
What Seimei is doing to Ritsuka is cruel yes, but facts dont show that he wanted to kill Ritsuka, in fact since that volume on it started to disovle, we have no clue what Seimei's motives are yet, one minute it looks lke one thing... and the other anouther.
Maybe he wants to kill Ritsuka? who knows, but if he does then i assume he want to kill himself to seeing as he only sees Ritsuka and him in the world.
Suicide pact? murder of all? wants Ritsuka to be chucked out so he can have him all to himself? who knows....
