I just heard of it. I first saw the pic on the abridged series but I didnt know it was really going to be a yugioh show. Well I guess it just aired in japan on the second. I dont really know much about it. So does anyone know anything about it? Will it air in the US?

You're wrong. "5Ds" stands for Five Dragons, most liekly due to the Dragon's Birthmark some of the main characters have.

Well, Takahashi designed the D-wheel and the main characters, so at least it's got that going for it.

I've watched the first 4 episodes so far (the only 4 that are out ^_^) online (try veoh or youtube.) and I must say, I'm in love with this series. Also, if anyone knows where I can find all the GX episodes subbed (like, a list of links or something) then please do tell.. and on a side note, I'm scared of what 4-Kids is going to do to this Anime.

i watched like the 3rd episode on you tube when i was looking for stuff about a chain link deck i was building but i found that well..... with the main character you can cut the teen angst with a freeken butterknife.
also youtube carry's most episodes in subbed form i watched the yubael fight there and a few others those i must say elemental heroes are scary for me

I saw it in the latest issue of Shonen Jump. I'm kind of iffy at this point. From what I've read of the summary, I have to say it sounds dumber than G/X. In my opinon. I could be wrong and it could be a great anime.... until 4-Kids degrades it like they do with every piece of decent anime they can get their hands on.
But... dueling on motorcycles now? O.o I dunno... but, to satisfy my curiousity, I might watch it when it comes over here.

I like the ideas behind Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds but the fact that it's associated with Yu-Gi-Oh and card games (not children's card games neutral ) makes me utterly despise it. I'm getting kind of sick of the "Ancient/Mysterious Civilization" connections in each series and I was never too keen on shows that have blatant advertising. That's why I preferred the Toei Series and earlier Yu-Gi-Oh graphic novels.
Someone once told me that the "Ancient/Mysterious Civilization" is what makes Yu-Gi-Oh what it is but if that's what makes it so interesting, I think it's time to let the franchise die.
"It's not time to duel - it's time to die!"

I've watched several of the episodes for info on cards, and ive noticed that more often than not, rather than dueling on the motorcycles, which i believe were called duel runners or something like that, they tended to duel with duel disks like before.
