Fatum watched the full moon in a trance like state. Her head swayed from side to side as she chuckled darkly to herself. Her mind was full of thoughts of a great fire and constant screams of pain, oh it was so pleasent.
The night couldn't have been anymore perfect. Warm weather, clear sky, and silence. This quiet hilltop was perfect for collecting one's thoughts. Not matter how insane.

Oops was bored. None of her playmates nowadays ever lasted very long in the games she impressed upon them. It was quite the pity, and quite frustrating. Surely there was something else to do.
It was dark out, which to Oops was like dawn to anyone else. Orange eyes lighting the small shadows collected about her, the girl made her way through to the edge of the pines. She knew that some part of her family was close, mother, father, or sister. They'd be of at least some amusement, right? They knew the rules of the game.
The moonlight was like a beacon upon Fatum from her own vantage point. She couldn't see her sister's face, but she seemed to be somewhat absorbed. With a leer, Oops crept forth like a small detachment of the shadows. If she could get close enough to Fatum without being seen, she would deliberately step on one of the other girl's tails, tiny tinkles of laughter bubbling in her throat. "Who do you think is getting the better view, the moon or you?"

Fatum felt the tingling pain of having her tail stepped on, but instead of a yelp the grin widened on her face. Slowly she turned her head to face Oops, golden eyes flashing with a pleasurable hate. Pain was a blessing, it was fun to cause. With a quick jerk of her tail he attempted to remove it from under her sister's paws.
"That's a stupid question." Fatum chuckled with a cold tone. "I can see everything the moon sees! So I always have the better view."
Her head was held high as she spoke that. Fatum felt as if she were a goddess. Full of pride, dignity and a force anyone should bow down to. In her twisted mind everything could easily bend to her will. In time she could worm her way into anything she so desired.

There was a mere scoff from the female as the other failed to be displeased by the pain. A sharp grin, patronizing from corner to corner, bared itself at Fatum when her reply came.
"Wrong, and right," Oops offered, a musical sort of quality to her tone, "You cannot see yourself right now, but the moon can! If your view is better, it's because you are not in it!" She clucked her tongue, and moved to sit at Fatum's side, though not in any particularly friendly manner.
"And is this what you do? Look?"

Saying that she was wrong was just enough to get a growl and a toothy snap at. "I'm never wrong..." She growled in the lowest tone possible. She looked away from her sister and back up at the moon, keeping a side look at her sibling. One could never be too sure.
"I observe... Something like you could never understand the importance." Her tails flickered. "And more, but I'm never going to share with you these things."
