...ever feel bad that a lot of Christians are being killed in the name of Christ in lands like North Korea, yet in places like the U.S, we have it SO easy?

Cultural differences possibly coupled with the attitudes of the missionaries involved. Historically Christians have preached to places where outsiders aren't wanted or welcome, so naturally they won't be treated so kindly upon arrival. It's a lot more trying to be Christian when your chosen religion is not the majority, and the majority has a distinct distaste for your kind of people.
