Ahh, warmth of the sun....Yajuu was taking her time, having a blast at this sudden spring of warm weather. She growled softly in her light sleep, her ears high and alert to noises around her.
It may have even seemed weird for her to just be growling in her sleep, but, it was extremely natural for the experiment of science.

The sun warmed Tamri as well, though she could not see the light that baked pleasantly against her back. She walked slowly, flicking her tongue through the air to taste the scents of the reawakening world as she wandered this mountainside, far from home. For once she was enjoying her solitude; though this was also the first time she'd set out with the intention of actually being on her own for a while. That in itself probably made all the difference in the world.
She could "sense" the living creatures around her as their nerves fired off, here and there. She was probably more aware of them than sighted creatures were, but it mattered little. Her nerve-centered "ability" served to help her defend herself if it was called for, and let her help her mother with relieving the constant ache that seemed to be with her during the cold months of Tamri's kit-hood.
But now the weather was warming, and Khael didn't need Tamri around constantly. Not that Khael would actually have ever asked Tamri to stay around for so long, but Tamri had done it anyway. Today, though... today was her first day of truly testing her independance. And her first experience with spring. It was rather intriguing.
A soft growling sound drifted to her ears, and her head swiveled to try and pinpoint it. A few sparks of nerves, seemingly a bit disjointed... how curious. Slowly she drifted closer to the sleeping kitsusagi, having difficulty pinpointing her scent. There was only one, wasn't there? Why did it taste upon her tongue as though there were several?

[[Wow. I never noticed how horribly short my intro post was. xD; ]] She sniffed the air cautiously, first opening her cheetah eye, then her fox eye. Her growl drifted off, rising her neck up slowly, peering around. What could it have been that she was smelling? The scent was something she hadn't before...
She rose up slowly from her spot, noting how her fur felt horrid in a few places, she shook her frame quickly, and felt the fur let down in a more comfortable position.
Now, back to the smell. Her ears manuevered around, trying to pick something up. She blinked, and they stopped in place. There was something coming....and by the sound of it, it was big.
However..Yajuu seemed to be calm, this new scent did seem different, but it also didn't seem hostile? She stood her ground and waited, her tails flickering idly.

Tamri made her way carefully through the trees until she finally made it through them to where Yajuu stood. The growling had stopped, and her nerve "sight" told her that the other had stood, though it lacked the ability to tell her nuances of expression. One kitsusagi. And yet her tongue tasted several in the air... from the same spot! Curiouser and curiouser.
Being a Nightmare, she was large, and she worked to keep herself fit. Good musculature, shiny pelt. Just because sight was a rather pointless thing to the Nightmaren was no reason not to take care of herself and keep herself clean. She might even have been intimidating if not for the strange gentleness that seemed to radiate from her.
She took a few steps closer, out of the trees, and sat, cocking her head. She'd had just enough interaction with non-Nightmaren to understand the importance of body language. "Would you be offended if I asssk what you are? My tongue keepsss telling me that there are far more of you in one ssspot than ssseemsss physssically posssible." Yes, she did lisp; she didn't roll her Rs though, the way her mother did both, though honestly if she was to be stuck with one and not the other she'd rather have had the rolling Rs. She thought they sounded rather pretty.

At first she was surprised that this kitsusagi was so big, she remained calm, from the fact the large strange kitsu was...quite calming to her. Before she could even think of answering her, she studied her carefully.
Large, not heavyset, built at a very high level...Such weird things protruding from her back. Hmm, rather curious Yajuu was. Upon further study, she noted on the long curved horns atop her crown that stretched around to a little below her bottom chin. Her mouth was rather to the beaked extent..and..a snake tongue?
She shook off the feeling she had, then shook it again, "Oh no..It's nothing really. Yajuu has heard this question many times. Yajuu was created from the Creator. The Creator was nice to Yajuu, but..he told Yajuu that he was leaving her. This really sadden Yajuu, but she met another...", she paused, and tilted her ears down, "Y..Yajuu just blabbed a little too much..Oops.."
She felt stupid for getting into her little fits of talking, and she never really noticed how much she refers to herself in third person. "Yajuu does have a few questions about you though. Why does this big blue one be so big, and have long horns and things, and can not see that Yajuu is as she is when the Big Blue one's right in front of her?" she took a moment to register what she JUST said and chuckled sheepishly. "Sorry. Yajuu blabbled again.."

Tamri grinned a bit, mouth gaping just slightly at the action. This one was... strange, speaking in third person, but it was not off-putting. Tamri was far more puzzled about this "Creator" talk. Was it a religion? Somehow, given Yajuu's strange scent and the way her nerve-image was almost disjointed, Tamri suspected that it was far more likely a literal statement than a spiritual one. That also raised Tamri's curiosity, but she felt that she would rather do a little research into the subject herself than to try and make Yajuu explain it all. Yajuu seemed rather... self-conscious.
Tamri actually chuckled a bit at all of Yajuu's questions. "I do not mind if you "blab". Conversssatssion usssually requiresss blabbing to sssome degree." So this one had never seen a Nightmare before? Or even heard of them. She had known that this was not necessarily an uncommon thing, but Tamri had never run into anyone who did not know before, so it caught her a bit off-guard.
"My name isss Tamri. I am a Nightmare kitsssusssagi. Our sssize and appearancsse are sssimply a part of who we are." She moved to lay on her belly so that Yajuu could more clearly see her eyes. "We are alssso all born blind, with eyesss sssown ssshut. I can not sssee you, Yajuu... becaussse I can not sssee anything. Excssept for darknesss, I sssuppossse."
