I never took an IQ test before, and I felt curious, so I went here.
Supposedly, I have an IQ of 133, but I don't know what that would make me. Am I on of the averages? An idiot? A genius? I wouldn't know. Over at the states, IQ seems like a very important thing, but over here, it's no biggie. It makes me wonder: is intelligence over-valued in the US? (Considering how the masses are... below average in common sense) Is it underappreciated here? I wouldn't really know. Here's my "Intellectual Type". Do you guys consider it average?Your Intellectual Type is Word Warrior. This means you have exceptional verbal skills. I've also heard that every time you take an IQ test, you get a lower score. Because you try to think of things in different ways and just mess yourself up.

If you refer to an Online test, then I agree with you. The more accurate way would be to take it with actual doctors present, as apposed to online, where you can cheat all you want. And if anyone is wondering, I got a 127, and a Visual Mathematician. Supposedly I am good at finding patterns, and can see the big picture easier. That is, if this test is to be believed.

Well, I know I didn't cheat, but I heard the real IQ test involves things like how long it takes you to do stuff. And some of the things aren't really written test/multiple choice type things so much as those block putting-together things. You can't really judge that on an online test. Mine said I was good at finding patterns, and I know I am. So it could be somewhat accurate in that respect. Figuring out the pattern to something makes me happy. 3nodding

Mine was pretty accurate in its description, but I finished it pretty fast, which could alter the score. Having a way words since I was little helped me get away with many a thing, and saved me from being falsely accused for others...

Yeah, but it's also a little harder to time something on the internet, as people with slower connections would probably take longer.

I've studied IQ tests before so I'm qutie interested in taking this! I'll tell you all what I thought of it when I'm done. Unfortunately it'll have to wait a while since my time on this computer is up... *cries*

Well I took the test and got 118 but I figure that's inaccurate since I started guessing on the 2 last pages because I had to get to class. I've taken IQ tests before and I usually do quite a few points higher. Though I know it's probably all somewhat innacurate because of the state of mind you are in at the time you take each tests.

Wow, I am said this didn't really go that far, I pretty much looked at the form, scrolled all the way down and found this to be one of the most interesting topics yet. Is it that this guild is going down the toilet by letting the perverts in us over whelm this area, I want to remind us all that this is the INTELLECTUAL perverts guild not the Perverts guild. Anyway, back to the topic.
I don't really think IQ is big here, I live in Cailfornia dude, and never took an IQ test in my life, besides those silly online ones which I believe are pretty bogus anway. I am an art major, and I go to a jr. college here, where most of the high school students in my class of 05 are going as well. Then again we aren't the smartest state either. stare I feel how a person is judged on how they think by answer question which there may or may not be a right answer to proves nothing to our intelligence, it just shows we can pick out things in our own mind which may be right or not. Now I am an art major...but I still don't know what I want to be when I "Grow up" do you think a test can tell us that? or perhapes doctors by studing how we answer a question...I dun think so, plus..what is the intellgence of those doctors. Just because they know the answers and all, or they happened to pass five years of science and human study...they just memorize text books is all. heehee 4laugh
So...yea I just clicked on the link to the test to see how it would look and well...the ad boreds around this so called IQ quiz was one at the top asking if weed should be legal, and another on the side which was asking which celebirty this was, with a picture of paris on it then saying you will win a phone in answered right. <.< Now...that doesn't sound very promising for and IQ page.

And its not really going down the shitter, in my opinion. That's what the mods are for, to ensure that don't happen. and to be fairly honest, most intellectuals are boring prudes that wouldn't be caught dead holding hands in public, much less having sex in it. And most perverts wouldn't know the difference between Bush and Clinton. We're intellectual perverts. We've got brains, but we've also got libido, and we know how to use it. ^_~

It is true, I hang out with alot of really bright smart people that will probably be amazing in the future, but because we are perverts, relaxed and easy going....and...scary at times. Anyway!! What would you think the world will be like in the future if we took all of use....this bundle of ture intellcutal perverts and made us older, say 35 where will we be in out life?? Hmmm?? imagine what "we" can give the world in the future. I mean think about it, it does lay with us now doesn't it? oooo fun things to ponder on. 4laugh
